Has same stats with same resilience and spell power as Hateful Gladiator's Silk Cowl, only difference is this one gives hit rating instead of crit rating.

I would keep my arena points for other pieces and get this one.

It should be noted that this is one of the only epic cloth hats available with +hit. Compared to Faerlina's Madness (the only other +hit helm at the moment), this loses out on Spirit and Intellect, as well as spell power and a bit of hit rating. But it gains the Meta slot, which gives it a huge boost in usefulness if you're like me and can't live without the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond.

Considering the relative ease of attaining this versus Faerlina's Madness (perhaps a week's worth of PvP in Wintergrasp compared to god knows how long in heroic Naxx), it should be something casters will almost certainly rush to pick up. Especially if you're like me and are having trouble capping your hit rating without resorting to trinkets with massive +hit boosts.

Looking forward to picking this up on my Shadow priest, both for PvE and PvP.

Will the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond work since it needs 2 blues gems and the hood only has 1 yellow slot.
