Equip bonus seems to be a placeholder, same effect as a lv74 idol.
Also, from the name of it, this seems to be a feral idol.

Upgrade for Everbloom Idol

upgraded from:
Equip: Increases the damage dealt by Shred by 88.
to
Equip: Increases the damage dealt by Shred by 203.

as of patch 3.03 this is the only (non pvp) lvl 80 epic feral idol. Its rather disappointing that you can not get the achievement in bear gear.

For those that have not run heroic 70s, there is a blue tanking option from grisly dailies.

Maybe worth noting that with decent gear, you can solo the level 70 heroic dungeons for Badges of Justice and still obtain the Idol of Terror, thats what I did :)

Great upgrade from https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=29390 for dps kitties. Considering it only costs 15 badges (which you can easily get in a day or two), there's no reason not to pick this up if you're feral!

I have to preface this post by saying I'm not a numbers guy, and my conclusion comes from a small amount of testing. I just want to throw a word of caution about this idol.

I hate to say this, but I am pretty sure this idol is inferior to the level 70 idol of terror. I recently purchased this and it actually made my dps go down about 10-15% on the training dummy.

I first thought it was a mistake with my rotation/priority list but I ran it three times and got the same dps figure. Then I swapped the idol back to the idol of terror and ran that twice. I found my dps went back up to what it usually is.

Even at 80, the idol of terror procs a lot. I found it easier to get combo points and maintain uptime on my bleeds and SR, which is where I'm guessing the difference came from.

By no means do I want to sound like a know it all, so I would love to hear feedback from others on this subject. But I'm disappointed with this purchase.

In some circumstances, yuo aren't going to be using mangle at all, depends on your raid make up. With the glyph of mangle, you mangle even less and too many mangle "clips" will lower dps. If the circumstance is similar to BC idols, then the Shred idols EASILY takes the mangle idols for instances, where the mangle idols will come in handy for farming and the rare times you can't get behind an enemy while in a group.

Shred idols hands down.
