u buy this from a vendor in dalaran for the new BoJ.
(the exact number eludes me, but seeing as there is a perfectly fine epic girdle from heroic nexus i dont see why anyone would buy it anyway).

i disagree. i think with the focus on the 2handers, with both TG and ofc the arms tree, haste will be awesome. Furthermore, with amored to the teeth, 944 xtra armor is another 15.7 ap.

Also, a yellow socket means u can socket hit gem, and get the 4str socket bonus.

lastly, the obvious, 58 str scales with BoK also :)

Haste is a poor stat for DK's, so I would recommend getting Flame-Bathed Steel Girdle from heroic nexus and saving your badges for something else.

I'm pretty sure PPM is based on the base speed of your weapon. So haste should directly increase the PPM.

No, PPM is affected by weapon speed in the opposite way.

Faster weapon = less chance per swing to proc.
Slower weapon = more chance per swing to proc.

Therefore, if assuming normalization.... Haste doesn't make a difference whatsoever. If it says 5 PPM. Then it will likely proc 5 times per minute no matter how much haste you have.

It's a damn shame when I gotta spend my hard earned badges on leather.

If you're fury, the badge leather belt blows this away.....

If you're death knight or ret pally, this belt STILL isn't worth it....farm Heroic Nexus for the Flame Bathed Steel Girdle.

Either way this belt sucks.

personally, since dps is offspec for me, i'll wait until 3.2 comes out and get a Belt of the Singing Blade over either this or the leather one. 28 badges compared to 40? easy win. see, pandering to causal players on Blizz's part isnt all that bad, now is it?
