Dual Wielding 2 hailstorms in comparison to Black Ice For Hunters

Hailstorms

234 Attack Power
78 Stam
62 Hit
50 ArP
0 Haste

Black Ice

242 Attack Power

58 Haste

These seem to better suit BM hunters opposed to MM/Survival Hunters who are trying to haste cap steady shot, however both the hailstorm combo and Black Ice are still great combination's for stat sticks.

Okay, guys I have Widow's Fury https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=39730
I am wondering if this sword would be better since it has hit, 0.1, higher dps, is o.10 faster. Tell me what you think, IMO I belive Widow's fury is better that little extra hit and 0.1 more dps -.- does not look very convincing so if any1 could give a very valid reason why to take this/or not sword over Widows Fury (Got to say it does look awesome :O!)

Amazing offhand, good stats good speed, insane looks, oh well dropped last nite on malygos for me, badass OH gl getting it, the best sword offhand for rogues atm in game, it has it all, the stats the looks and the speed

Anyone knows if Hailstorm or Omen of ruin is the best for a combat rogue?
If using the sword I'd go 4/5 in Sword specc, but seeing as combat gain damage through crits would it be better to use a dagger in offhand, even if it has less DPS? :)

Allow me to contradict you, they are not the best stats, ideally it would have haste or any other stat instead of ArP.

Still, it's the best off hand in game for a combat rogue at the time of posting this, better than any dagger.
Pair this with Calamity's Grasp and you get the best weapon combo for a rogue at this time.

Dualwielding this sword is the best setup for a 0/32/39 DK. (except if youre an orc, then last laugh might be better)

Despite what anyone says, this would be a good tanking sword for either a pally or a warrior.

Others are better, easier to get too, but for pure style while tanking pairing this with the shield from the same boss is perfection.

As a rogue you'd have to keep in mind that, assuming you play as combat, this weapon gives obsolete stats. Most rogues however play as HaT at the moment, where you will need the hit.

Reasons not to take this would just be the stats:
-Armor penetration as it is, is not good. Unfortunately, armor penetration works on a boss after the sunder has been applied, giving it a less dps value as you might expect.
-When you're combat, you will have precision and prob enough gear to reach 237 hit rating (which is enough if you have a moonkin or Shadowpriest). At this point agility and AP start to weigh much more on dps.

Reasons to take this would be
-Cool looks
-Nice speed for a sword if you're into them

Note: if you don't have a good OH weapon, do take this over a hunter!

Widow's Fury isn't as good as this, but it does show some common sense from Houdoeii. It is better but it's not a earthshattering improvement. By giving it to the hunter he may have given a much higher dps boost to his raid total.

For mutilate, 2x Paper Cutter is better than any epic dagger combination until 25 man content, and even there it is superior to anything slower than 1.5 at the 156 weapon dps range. Odd, I know.

I would like to clarify something real quick. It is a common thing for rogues to assume that duel LPC are the best thing until Webbed Death. This however is false. It is the best MH dagger until Webbed Death but there are better OH daggers. The speed as an OH is not made up for with the loss of dmg/stats. There are other epic daggers that are better OH daggers, spread sheets and my personal test show that daggers like Anarchy(10 man Kel) and Twilight Mist(25 man Grob) perform better in OH with LPC in MH than duel LPC.

It has not been proven that fast/fast is better for 32/39. It's pretty equal, not even worth calculating.

My guild doesn't really have very many hunters, nor rogues. This sword seems to drop every time along with the Gown, the Gown goes fast and nobody rolls for this. So far we've given 6 of these out amongst our death knights for off spec which will never get much use. I currently have two on my death knight but they sit in my bank, it's somewhat frustrating.

Nice weapon for a SV Hunter. ST+AG+AP+Armor pen+ Hit rating

Also a nice DPS and lvl. The best part is that it can be dual-wielded
