Could anyone please verify how this interacts with Warriors/DKs/Paladins, does it add both {parry} and {dodge} rating? Or might this be a move for blizzard to make all {parry} -> {parry dodge}, thus making it a valid stat for Druids as well? (Items with {parry dodge} rating giving {dodge} for druids and {parry} for Warriors/DKs/Paladins).

Due to diminishing returns this might not be as effective for druids, since they would be stacking {dodge} compared to other tank classes who would have {parry} as a supplement to other stats, but it would still be a move in the right direction to increase avoidance for druids after the reduction of {agility}->{dodge} conversion.

Before factoring in diminishing returns, this trinket is basically badge of tenacity 2.0 in respect to mitigation and avoidance that is actually useful for other tanking classes besides druids.

Edit: It seems that in the recent build(8982) for the WotLK Beta, Parry-Dodge is gone and this trinket is now just pure Dodge Rating.

The parry-dodge mechanic is awesome. Now only if they'd do something similar with block rating/block value. It's painful to see good tanking gear that has a large part of it useless to deathknights and druids.

From what I have read, parry dodge will grant you parry rating if you are able to parry, and dodge otherwise.

Where did you read this? I can't find anything on parry dodge.

Per post by Ghostcrawler below, this is incorrect. You will get only 850 total armor from this trinket in bear form.

We will adjust the bear armor modifiers so that your net mitigation does NOT go down with these changes. Let me repeat: this is not a nerf to Feral armor. It is a change to the amount of armor you get from gear with bonus armor.

Confirmed - This gives me still scales with frost pressence. The nerf to druid non-leather items did not effect to Death Knights.

Forget the armour...

For those who have the Emblem of Heroism Trinket(https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40683).

This trinket and Valor Medal of the First War DO NOT share a cooldown timer.

Yes, that's right. You can use them at the same time and boost your dodge a full 20% for 20 seconds.

OP Druid Tank strikes again!
Hopefully this doesn't get nerfed in the patch :)

EDIT: Don't forget diminishing returns kids. All said and done you actually get about 15-17% dodge from stacking these depending on your current gear and avoidance. Still awesome.

This is a fairly nice tanking trinket, but we, like most raids, have a finite number of tanks and might-be-tanks, and this drops so often for our guild we've taken to calling it Vendor's Code.

this is not the best tanking trinket but it still a good trinket if you have nothing better.

But one thing interesting about this trinket is that you can get it to get the Epic acheivement since it's an itemlvl of 213.

Just put it in a trinket slot and swap it with your other trinket and you got 2 more slot done for this acheivement.

This trinket drop so often that my guild is thinking about giving it to everyone to get their acheivement done.

Yes it can ben sharded but we already have plenty of Crystal.

Using this on my Warlock, 850 armor is incredible for a class that only has around 2k armor unbuffed and greatly increases my survivability in pvp.

Would probably rate Armor for cloth classes even above Resilience, for me it pushes DR from 11% to 16%.

I used this trinket for about three to four months and was fairly good especially when paired with the 32 stam +2% armor meta gem as well a warrior spec for even more armor. I later replaced it with another trinket that has to red gem slots and 62 stam. Used the 885 armor enchant on the gloves to make up the armor loss.
