A few of these wouldn't be that bad for a warrior/paladin/death knight tank, since strength is considered a more viable stat for tanking now.

These (https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=40144) wouldn't be half bad when mixed with the Sovereign Dreadstone, especially if you're below that vital defence cap but also want more block/spell-dmg/parry

My guess is that this, and other epic gems like this will be available with 3.3-3.4 patch (or whenever the Icecrown Citadel is opened for raiding), much like the epic gems of TBC came with Mount Hyjal/Black Temple.

These can be prospected from Titanium Ore (yes, it's prospectable now) as can ALL other gems introduced in 3.2.
