A nice hit rating trinket if you're lacking on hit elsewhere in your gear, possibly as a death knight. As a lot of the T7 DK gear has haste (which we dont need, stupid blizz), hit lacks slightly, and this could make up for it.

Good trinket that will last into naxx. A nice 670AP for 20 secs every other fight. Reccommended.

Depending on your current gear, this rare item could be "better" for you than an epic. If I had to choose this or the Loatheb's (84 crit passive) I would choose this hands down. So much WotLK gear is lacking hit but has plenty of crit.

Got pugged and went in not know what dropped. This dropped, saw that it was frekin awsome. Rolled need on it(TG warrior, so it was a perfectly acceptable roll) won it by a difference of 4 because some stupid moonkin decided to roll need on it too.

Seriously though, this is an amazing trinket that allows you to place stats in other slots(easier) while keeping the hit rating that you need.

It makes a frenzy sound effect and turns you red. As a marksmanship hunter this trinket is great due to the extra hit that i am lacking. This trinket can also be a great contribution to your attack power, providing that you use is as often as you can it will provide you with an average of 111.6 permanent AP! I advise you to farm for it.

That's not actually anywhere near "nuff said". For a start there are many different dps classes and they all value stats in a different way. Secondly, there are multiple different hit caps. For instance rogues have their yellow hit cap, then their poison hit cap and then their white hit cap.

While reaching the yellow hit cap is important for a rogue - and now that poisons factor more heavily reaching the poison hit cap is as important (depending on spec), beyond that it's not a particularly valuable stat.

So not "nuff said" at all.

Of course, if you haven't reached the special hit-cap, the hit is better. But, aside from that, you guys do realise you're trying to sell off a heroic blue as better than a naxx epic? :p

You do realize that before that Titan's Grip buff (previously 5% miss) you needed almost 380 hit to special cap? Just because it's from a heroic and not a raid doesn't mean it's automatically worse. Shard of Contempt was one of the best rogue trinkets in the game and from a heroic in BC. And DST from the first 25 man being another one of the best trinkets? I'm not saying that this is the case with this particular item, but with some like Librarian's Paper Cutter, as Aquatseli mentioned, it is.

Actually, haste is, after strength, quite possibly the best stat for a dual-wielding dk to stack. It's been proven on EJ that stacking haste increases dps significantly through the buff to Necrosis and blood Caked Blade. It's also been proven that it even increases KM procs, which is the bread and butter of what a 32/39 dk centers his cooldowns around.

Seeing as how your post was from december, I won't flame you with "N00B" comments, but just trying to put out the correct info.

Edit: and concerning unholy blades below me, I would never stack haste as a 2h spec. Also, this was a given if you read my post.

And also, the 80% that are 2h spec certainly arent keeping up with the skilled dw specs. Not taking shots, but Blizz certainly hasn't balanced these two specs yet.

I wanted to add that for ret paladins, this trinket combined with 2 points in "Sanctified Wrath", will equal to the cooldown of this trinket, and the cool down of avenging wrath to be exactly the same. Then you can write a custom macro:

/cast Avenging Wrath;
/use Sphere of Red Dragon's Blood;

Then you get 1 button where you get both +670 attack power, and +20% damage done for the duration.

As well, this trinket and avenging wrath both last for exactly 20 seconds.

Can we say, match made in heaven?

Yes it turns you red, and if you use this macro, every time you use Avenging Wrath, you get red wings :)

I am a ret paladin that has been using this pretty much since i dinged 80. It really is a fantastic combination with Avenging Wrath to give an impressive damage bonus even while i raid ulduar.

Do not hesitate to get this just because it has hit rating other than crit. because its nice to help you get to capped between 8-9% hit :). This trinket also helps you spam the proper gems rather than having to waste sockets on hit rating gems. I currently have 297 hit rating without one hit rating gem.

And red wings, who could ask for more :).

I see no one haven't posted this yet so I'll do it now.

This trinket has 2 minute cooldown and 20 second duration making trinket's uptime roughly 16,7% of time. Buff gained from effect is 670 attack power and considering said uptime, this trinket gives passive 111,7 attack power. Hit rating gained from this trinket is also very nice bonus and can help enormously to reach hit cap before raids.
