Tyrande Whisperwind grew up together with the two male night elven twins Malfurion and Illidan Stormrage. Illidan was dazzled by the very thought of Tyrande, but his brother never even noticed this "contest" of Illidan's over Tyrande's heart.
Tyrande can now be found attending to her duties as high-priestess and leader of the Sisters inside the Temple of the Moon at Darnassus.
On another note, the proc chance is 10%.
If this is from Illidan we can conclude that, even after all that happened to him; Illidan still loved Tyrande
Personally i dont think this is from Archimonde , he doesnt seem to have much conection with TYrande , but Illidan does - he knew Tyrande for eternity :)
It seems that the 'normal' internal cooldown for trinkets with procs like this are 45 seconds. Even without the proc however, this may very well still be the best healing trinket ingame at the moment.
It seems that you are overestimating this trinket a little;
It says: "Equip: Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec."
I would assume that you are also able to get a buff that gives you only 1 mana per 5 seconds for 15 seconds.
So i wouldnt count on it too much.
Also: i would love to know why it says "you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec." instead of "you will gain 76 mana per 5 seconds for 15 seconds"
It almost sounds like it gives you up to 76 mana per 5 spell casts, dont flame me if im wrong, im probably never going to remember reading here again anyway :-/
Just to compare what i said: Mark of the Dragon Lord:
and Circle of flame:
both has "every x sec for xx time."
With regard to the proc... it has a 45 second cooldown and always seems to proc within the first few casts after 45 seconds. To the guy that was wondering about the "up to 76 mp5", it gives the full effect even if it procs off a downranked spell. If it proc'd at exactly the 45 second mark, it'd be worth 25.33 mp5. Since it can take a few casts to proc, I'd say it's probably more realistically worth around 20 mp5.
an awesome trinket for any healer indeed.
Note that you get the full man gain (228) after 15 seconds have passed, so it would be 45 (internal cd) + 15 (reg time). This goes for all subsequent procs after the initial one.
228 / 60 x 5 = 19 MP5, assuming that you cast at least 10 healing spells within 45 sec on average.
I'm pretty sure it says "up to", because it will start to return less mana per 5 seconds once you level rises above 70.
I got my Memento last week and I gotta say it's the single best piece of loot I have. Even better than my Crystal Spire, this trinket is my new God.
This would go nicely with my Bangle of Endless Blessings when I get this trinket =) But I will never switch out the Bangle, it's to good. Since after patch 2.4 I will gain 91+ mp5 from procs from Bangle =)
It procd for me while using Inner Fire... right before it started a fight.
It has a decent proc rate tbh, 3-4 times or more / fight (didin't use it with proc addon yet)
One example of a raid a few days ago in BT
In 200 min of raiding got 80 times the
That's 1 buff each 2.5 minutes (this including drinking and slacking time)
Strange to see it proc while i buff people, right before the boss fights.
Proced even from making bags with tailoring, and also from enchanting other players gear.
While fighting it's most of the time up, i'll have to take a closer look to see how many times i see it each boss fight...
does it proc off direct heals only or HoTs too?
In wotlk the +healing will translate to 62 spellpower. Which oddly enough ends up being more spellpower than Skull of Guldan (minus the +15 hit and use effect).
A very, very good caster DPS trinket after the spell power conversion.
Tyrande.... What ever I become in this world, what ever happens in this world just know.... I will always love you. Quoted by Illidan stormrage who still loves her.
Shut-up everyone who thinks he's a villian. He's just... lonely...
Illidan and Tyrande sitting in a tree...
looks like this trinket is also getting buffed in 3.2 patch
Equip: Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 76 mana per 5 for 15 sec.
Equip: Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 95 mana per 5 for 15 sec.
is the newer version of it.
And much better too, I might add. And if you have the money, you can find it on the AH, not in BT. :)
Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain up to 95 mana per 5 for 15 sec
45sec internal CD
A druid with 1sec GCD need to cast 10times to get this to proc, so on average this will proc every 55sec.
95mp5 for 15sec = 285mana every 55sec =

One of the many drops off of Illidan, in the Black Temple, an obvious reference to Tyrande Whisperwind
On a side note: No, it is not sold from a vendor in Org.

Dam... ty then m8 :( Ill have to start leveling quickly ;P
WoW armory only lists the mp/5 as up to 76
Are you certain? I would assume that a drop would have a level boundary, but perhaps... as it is BoP, and only lvl 70s could take down Illidin, then it does'nt need one. The only items I have seen that don't need a lvl are quest items... but I dont know...
want that! I hope that it is from a quest! :P
Equip: Each time you cast a spell, there is chance you will gain
220 mana per 5 for 15 seconds.
MP5 isn't affected by other stats, so either the "up to" description is redundant or there's a chance that it will occassionally (randomly?) regenerate less. Otherwise, 660 Mana in 15 sec. Insane trinket.
Best healing trinket in-game nuff said.
While spamming a 2.5 second cast spell (assuming 2.6 with lag) this trinket would equate to roughly 44/5 regen. (
10% chance to gain 228 mana per cast, thus 22.8 average per cast. divide by cast time and multiply by 5 to get mana/5: 22.8 / 2.6 * 5 = 43.8
For a 1.5 second cast (1.6 with lag), you would get roughly 71/5. (
22.8 / 1.6 * 5 = 71.25
Even though this is an optimistic prediction as it doesn't figure in that many of the procs will overlap and not gain their full regen, it's still a very nice trinket.
pally FoL + this flower = God.
does anyone know about it´s internal cooldown, if there is one?
Probably 45 seconds cooldown like most trinkets have after a proc, meaning u will get rougly about 210 mana each minute.
awwww illidan was in love hes not such a bad guy =D
This Memento gave me a great idea! ok, we kidnap tyrande and bring her to the black temple. We go up to Illidan and go "drop your loot or the pretty lady gets it". Its genus i tell ya lol.
oh yeah, kidnapping Tyranade would make getting that Black Bow of the Betrayer alot easier. love the idea
Ok. Get Tyrande and after he give us his loot we kill her for what she did in WC3. Illidan will freak out so badly seeing her death he will have a heart attack and die! But then when Malfurion finds out we might be dead... Or maybe he will have a heart attack too becuse of her death? That would be great! Of course any alliance caught doing so would be... Well kicked from the alliance...*Gasp* Lack of AH... Or we get some of those blind folds so those NPCs can,t figure out who we are... Errrrrrrr.... Forget all of this...............
He is still heartbroken :( This guy just needs a hug!
this was originally Tyrande's panties but that seemed inappropriate
