The stats on this ring is really nice for a warrior.
Reminds me of the good old Quickstriker ring from Molten Core.
72Ap 280 HP and 30 critrating for a warrior :)
Excellent ring for the DPS warrior, enhance shammy, and feral druid.
For a Ret Paladin, this is actually the
best ring in the game for pure PVE DPS.
The first best ring is the Band of the Eternal Champion, followed by Signet of Primal Wrath, then this.
That being said, this is a tremendous ring.
This ring is best-in-slot for Retribution Paladins until Hard Khorium Band is accessible. Ret Paladins receive 2.2 AP per point of strength due to Divine Strength (first tier Holy) thus this ring equates, for a Retadin, to the following:
79 Attack Power
1.36% Critical Strike Rating
wrong. the items list and the stats input on maxdps are two different things. the items are best items based on multiple factors, but basicly all about maximum possable damage against raid bosses. the stats window to enter your current stats is for calculating how much dps you'll do, your white hits table (hits, miss, so on) and a few other stats.
this IS the number 2 ring for dps wars, number 1 being Band of Ruinous Delight, is number 5 for ret pallies, and 6 for enh shammies. the rating is based on how much overall dps an item will add to you, both in raw form (str, ap) but in passive form (hit rating, crit rating). while it's occasionally wrong the scoring is a good indication as to what's what, and since the site is based alot off the same general spreadsheet system as say shadowpanther.net (rogue site) it's generally accepted as the norm by major raiders
Very nice warrior pvp ring, good balance of crit/AP and a decent amount of stamina as well.
Drops from Gurtogg Bloodboil in Black Temple.
dont forget the shaman :P, for the strength
Definitely better for enhance shammy than a druid. While the strength is wicked awesome, I prefer agility & strength combos since it means more AP and dodge in addition to crit.
Druids get +20% extra strength with feral talent points while in Cat form
Give this to the Monks.
Whatever else feels the need to roll.
no agility = do not want
end of story
I have this on my Paladin. Let the tears commence.
Whoever is saying rogues need strength more than fury warriors and enchancement shamans you must be smoking something, get some ap and agility and hit and l2p your class please..
Wonder if there's an
even it gives str and not ap i think its better for a shammy the badge of justice new ring or the ZA one :/
i had it and changed for those rings
Warriors, druids, rets and enh. shammies, all benefit from this, but its most good use if a melee hunter gets it.
are you stupid? shaman dont need that much hit, 100 if specced right at the most, and btw, if you cant get 100 hit u r bad.
Picked this up tonight on my MS warrior. Resilience isn't so much a priority for a warrior who sticks to 2's and 3's (and has a brain) so I've been using my guardian's ring coupled with angelista's revenge for the last month or so; a VERY popular combination with arena warriors.
Armor penetration isn't all it's cracked out to be especially when you sunder your target anyway (go back to that part about having a brain,) and have executioner proccing fairly often. Angelista's has raw agility representing its crit which for a warrior adds a little armor and dodge. It sports a nice 58 attack power as well which is certainly on par with the Guardian's pvp ring.
The Agressor's ring as far as I know has the most strength in the game currently: 36, which equates to 72 attack power, beating out any sunwell ring. Instead of offering agility you get a raw 30 crit rating (druids/hunters may prefer angelista's 29 agility) while warriors and *!@#$%ins have it nice and simple (and powerful) providing they don't need the slight dodge/armor increase (which is negated by the armor penetration any welfare geared arena/pvp competition will have at this point in the game as it is.)
So I tossed my little +4 stats enchant on the sucker, and currently have the best MS Warrior ring in the game. That is of course, if you factor out resilience. Honestly the only ring besides those discussed above I'd compare it to is the Ring of Ruinous Delight from Sunwell Plateau, which I doubt many of you will see, least of all pvp seriously with it factored into your set.
Now THAT'S a wall of text, but I daresay a good one. And one last thing to piss off you guys: I'm a female NE warrior ;)
Happy hunting, this ring has proven more effective than angelista's thus far, but I wouldn't use it in a serious 5's makeup over the good old season 3 honor ring.
whoopy u suck... hunter or rogue for this one, are u on crack?
also there isnt that many retpallys in bt..
