"Drops" at Agamand Mill in Northern Tirisfal. I am wary of saying "drops" because I spent 1 hour and 100 kills trying to get it, but got nothing. I kept killing the right mobs at the right spot. Then I checked thottbot just to see if THEY had something to say. Yes, as I thought, several people saying "It took me 2 hours" etc. Ignore this quest for your own sake. The mobs also give horrible XP (77 each). Wish I had checked thott earlier and seen those comments. Ended up letting them kill me so I could ress at spirit healer in Brill and continue my level path...

Update: Fyi, the mobs are level 7-9 and give 77 xp each (my mage is level 6). Keep in mind that the letter drops for players as low as level 4, as comparison! Other mobs that are level 7 will give 79 xp and die faster, meaning that EVEN if you manage to get the letter after an hour, you'd have made more xp from doing other quests and killing lower mobs. It's up to you. Enjoy! ;-)

The drop rate for this item is surprisingly low. I did not receive it while working on the quest . I had to go back and kill another 20-25 mobs. I think I killed in the neighborhood of 50 enemies before this dropped. Don't get discouraged if you don't see it right away.

Well I spent 2 hours looking for this damn drop. Now my group member and some other random person both said they found it by the road leading into the mills near where the first named spawns Drevil or whatever. So I go kill all the skeletons by the road and I find the letter to yvette within 10 minutes!

I don't believe this is a random drop. I can tell you it DOES exist in the latest push/patch.

I actually found this as my Night Elf druid (33 at the time) west of Brill. Was kind of funny, wish I was eligible for the quest...told me I wasn't the correct race.

Found on soldier at 48,42 near some delapadated mills think area is still water pool, i was herbing silver leaf & earth root & discovered by accident.

Advised you take to the inn in Brill dunno yet lol.

Is this dropping in Classic? Every leveling guide has me looking for this and it never drops.

Just dropped it off a cracked skull soldier, which took me about 50 kills. Only skeleton-like mobs around this area will drop it.

It is correct that the letter drops in the area where Devlin Agamand walks around. A few kills and it dropped at 45.48, 42.77.

Can confirm it drops in Classic. Got it off a Darkeye Bonecaster at 48,37.

It did, however, take me from lvl 7 to lvl 10½ to get the drop, farming the skeletons in the area, so if you don't get it to drop while you do 3 mills quest up there, I don't think it's worth actually farming for.

I did however, manage to find three 6 slot bags, which is nice.

EDIT: Cannot confirm that this item even drops in TBC.
Pretty sure the 4% drop rate is a lie. Over 100 kills on skeletons and nothing. Don't think this even exists in game.
