It's still too expensive, considering

is free and obtainable at level 16. Not everyone needs intellect, but 5 FR doesn't matter either and the green even has 1 point more armor.

EDIT: and as Horde, it's better to get

It's a good cloak but if I keep this with my Female Elven Paladin 40, it's because it's very nice.

I've never saw a so beautiful cloak skin (yes, sorry but I don't like to feel having a rat pinned in the back :p).

For a 10-19 twink, I also reccomend the Engineer's cloak (see below) or the Sentry Cloack (most popular). This cloak is, right, good, but very expensive and, the resistances in wow has no effet 'til a consequent amount (to 50 points, considerated as "bad"...).

I was farming razormanes south of camp t in the barrens when this dropped. I thought Blue, its ok might get a few silver for it. Checked on AH and they were goin for 14g. I'm selling it now, shouldnt take long i put it up for 10g.

Strangely enough, this dropped off a Young Wetlands Crocolisk for me. I was grinding skinning from 110-150 and voila, instant 30g =)

This is better than caretaker's cape for some 19 twinks. you get 1 more stamina on this and 5 fire res, instead of the +9 healing on the caretaker's cape. Saves grinding the honour in WSG as well this way if you can pick it up at a *reasonable* price.

Found it while I was doin' BFD for some money..dropped outside the innstance from a crab..I was very happy to fid it, but no one wants to buy it.. now its out for 7g, but I'm going to have to lower the price to 3-5g..also found Magefist Gloves outside BFD..my lucky spot:p

heh i saw this for 50g buyout wit a agility enchant on it, then i noticed there was about 20 minutes left in the bid so i looked and the bid was 16 silver. So voila i look in my mailbox and it was there. I saved 49g and 84 silver:)

These sell for crazy amount on my server (Vashj) as there is a HUGE twinking community. Many fully twinked, some half twinked with fiery, so I guess the 5+ fire resistance is the selling point.

I saw this cloak at the AH for a bid of 3g. I whisper the guy and he sold it to me for only 5g. I know is worth a lot more. Maybe he didn't know is a twink item :)

Which is better, Firebane Cloak or Tranquillien Champion's Cloak?

IMO Firebane. Why? Well, 2 stam it's not much hp, and +5 fire resist hlps u better with all them twink's fiery enchanted attacks.

Only thing is, my lvl 18 cow warrior is near exalted with Tranq, but just yesterday I managed to buy Firebane for 12g... :-)

I guess because its easier to add agility to a cloak this sells? Im told on my friends server (KARGATH SP), which just joined it was seen 5x at 15-18 gold. I put it up for 10-15. Im not even that greedy but wow... I got it in Auberdine, off a nightcat I dont even think it was over 15. I must have gotten very lucky. I was hunting Sires and the Mother cats but I dont think thats what this was off of. Either a car r, yes,a BEAR.

ok look this and sentry cloak are best for twinks but i prefer this cuz when i get into a fight with someone who has fiery i almost always resist it and when i fight a mage i resist half the dmg from one of there fire spells! so if u want the little itsy bit of 3 agility and 4 stamina go ahead! i admit it helps. but when ur sitten dead because of a fire ball or a fiery enchant dont cry to me! PLUS! u can put +3 agility enchant on it so its kinda a better choice

the reason this has a high selling price is that it has a high Fire Resistance, and people want to meet their guild's standards for going to MC/BFD/ all other all hi lvl fire based instances.

My warrior had worn this cloak for a long time, since level 16. If I had known that this item is worth $$$$$$$ I would have sold it immediately... :(

I recently tossed it away for some random other cloak.

I think I found it somewhere in redridge.

Anyways, the cloak has a nice red color, it makes you look like a royalty.

Well, I've noticed that the Thistlefur Avenger doesn't drop this according to the list. But I will just say, that I just got this today, so I feel very lucky.

But I will agree. This is a rare, if not, almost impossible drop in the lower area of Azeroth.

Anyways, I change my Lupos Hide for this one, cause it fist my Druid better. But I might find something better when I get into the higher areas of the world. So I'm always looking for something better ^^
