Does this count "Floating"?
评论来自

The fall distance credit is most likely rewarded by the fall damage you were intended to take. 65 yards being 99% of HP as Fall damage.
I'm sure somebody will rather soon discover a spot that gives an exact 65 yards to fall from. Obtaining the achievement would just be a matter of traveling there.

I think people are forgetting the simplest solution is often the easiest. I would suggest just finding a secluded spot in Northrend (or in Outlands if you want to get it sooner) and simply keep flying up and dismounting until you reach that perfect 65 yard marker. It shouldn't take more than a few attempts to reach.

If it does not record the height of the fall based on damage, I recommend just getting on a flying mount and fly directly upward over a lake...then simply dismount. If it is based on damage, sadly I have no idea.

After a bit of searching, I found the perfect spot for completing this achievement.
Scryer's Teir. Mount up at the top. Once the elevator comes to the top, run and jump off the edge of the elevator platform at an angle so that you fall below the pathway immediately below, maximizing your fall distance.
If you have full hp before the leap, you should end with less than 1% of your health and 10 achievement points higher.

Terix
Does cat form/rogue's passive safe fall make this easier or do you still have to do 99% of your health in falling damage?
评论来自
persiarash
What about Blink? If you Blink right before impact, you take no damage. However since some of you saying it needs you to get damaged, what if you blink a little sooner? If you do that then your character "freezes" in mid air for a second then falls from that height, taking much less damage. Does anyone know if this would work, or if it would instead calculate your fall distance from the place you blinked?

Finally got this perfect. Here's what you do:
Go to Thunder Bluff, and head to the southern lifts. Walk up to the one on the left (as if you were going to Bloodhoof village) and stand on the very left-most corner of the walkway out to the lift, so the lift rises and lowers next to your shoulder.
Turn left and look down. Immediately below is the ramp down from the lift platform. By edging slowly off the walkway, you can land half-way up the ramp. It's tricky, but it should earn you the achievement.
Screenshot's up!

If you have a flying mount, mount up and ride the Scryer elevator to the top. Run off and without changing your level, move sideways so that you aren't over the bridge between the elevator and the central structure. Dismiss your mount and fall. You get hurt real bad and get 10 Achievement Points.

Update
: Found a simple spot in Dalaran to complete this achievement. You will need a flying mount or a friend with a flying passenger mount (like the
X-53 Rocket)
.
Attention: When your are thrown off a passenger vehicle you automatically obtain a
parachute
. You will receive the parachute even if you were already touching the ground, meaning your next jump or fall will activate it. Simply remove the buff before you take this leap of faith.
The jump location is located on a tower attached to The Silver Enclave (that's the Alliance "side" of Dalaran) directly above the treant fruit vendor
Applebough
,
NOT
the window with the plants but directly above that.
Simply
JUMP
off the ledge towards the street. Avoid jumping to your right (if you're looking outwards) as you might hit the lamp by the mailbox.
Walking off the ledge is not sufficient, you have to
JUMP
off.
Check out the image below if you have any trouble finding it or where you should
JUMP
towards.
Click here to view the location (imageshack).
Old Location in Shattrath:
This was my first post on this achievement so I will leave it here. Others have posted that jumping off of the Scryer's elevator (when it arrives at the top) will also grant this achievement. Here was my location, also located on the Scryer's tier.
Fall close to the right side, the tarp is slanted and its just about 64 yards in the center and 65 on the slanted side.

The absolute best way to gain this achievement is by jumping off the main Scryer's Tier elevator as pointed above (if you can find it). I have done these jumps many times for experimental purposes and each one was a success.
How to do it:
Be at full health, anything less is suicide.
You can do this with Resurrection Sickness if you are impatient.
Stand near the middle edge of the elevator and at an angle so you are facing the Shattered Sun Marksman NPCs below. Make sure the elevator wall structure is not in the way. Move the camera to a top down view (directly above your character's head) if you are having trouble.
Take a few yards back for running distance and wait for the elevator to be at the top.
Run then jump, making sure you do not jump into the elevator wall structure.
If you did this correctly, you should slide down the other side of the wall structure and land at the foot of the ramp in direct view of the Marksman with about 4% to 5% HP left.
Notes:
Stay on the elevator if you do not wish to be attacked by the Scryer robots (for those friendly or higher with the Aldor). The BE guards at the base of the elevator do nothing.
You do not need any items, spells or abilities; just intestinal fortitude.

For those that like Aldor better than Scryer and you're Horde. <3
Just to clear things up on the Thunder Bluff fall. Go to the southern lift, which is the main entrance/exit. When choosing which side to go on, go to the left. Wait for the lift to come up and make sure to have your camera angled down. Once on the lift and looking down, you will see the platform to your right and the ramp to the left. Land on the ground in between them. I had 9889 health and it took me down to 245 and cleared the quest.

A mage can easily complete this in the Exodar.
Go to the highest point by the main entrance. There are two levels, so walk to the part of the edge that will allow you to fall to the bottom level. Walk off and use Ice Block before landing.
Celebrate after thawing :)

I have found that jumping while mounted on a regular mount, from behind stonewatch keep in Redridge will get you the achievement. You have to go to the right wall as you come up the path there is a small space between the outter wall and the ledge. There is a tree that is growing next to the ledge. On the ledge there are three "points" that point out toward the water. If you aim for the middle point, back up to the wall, run and jump "over" the tree, you will land on the slope and earn your achievement. Sorry I don't have a screen shot of the place, if anyone finds it and can add a screen shot that would be great! Good Luck! :)

Easiest way to get this:
Go to Shattrath. Get on the Scryer elevator and take it up to the top, but DON'T GET OFF. Instead, turn around and run off the elevator, being sure to do it in a way that you don't land on the bridge in front of the Scryer Rise.
Be sure to be at full health before you do this, as the fall will take off about 98% of your health.
Also a note, this has been fixed from Beta and can no longer be attained from falling:
1. While dead
2. Into water/lava/slime/similar
3. Using a slowfall item/spell
You either have to fall and take the damage, have something that reduces fall damage, or be invulnerable when you hit the ground.
EDIT: If you're gonna downvote me, then explain how I'm wrong.
EDIT 2: For ultimate convenience, you can then bandage yourself after falling for the Ultimate Triage achievement.

This is the most straightforward, mindless way to do it that I've seen so far:
If you take the sewer into Undercity you'll end up on a ledge really high above the city. Just drop down and aim for the green river and you should get credit.
You don't need a mount, you don't need to jump before falling, or aim for a difficult spot. Just fall into the city from the sewers and you get credit.
(This is obviously easier to do as a Horde character)
Edit: Just noticed Kangi had posted it before me. My apologies. Gave it a + to give it some more emphasis.

Get close to the outcropping of the second tier (main floor) but don't try to land on it - you want to land on the third tier.

In the crypts of Karazhan (in the world zone, not the instance) there are many empty rooms. If you can get someone to fear you through the crypt gate, there is a hole in the first few rooms. A simple drop through that hole will land you on a pile of skulls and bones - with 99% fall damage. Meant to be that way, since it has a creepy name to the area. Need conformation on the name, though.

Okay so, here's a very easy method that will work every time, in order to gain this achievement. It requires you to have a flying mount though.
Go to Shattrath, and locate the Scryers's Tier. If you're Aldor-attuned, just be careful not get close to the guards; it works, don't worry. Take the elevator, go up, advance to the platform, and take your flying mount. If you don't move the mouse's angle, you will now hover with your flying mount at exactly the horizontal from the Scryer's Tier elevator's height.
Then hover at this distance somewhere over Shattrath's ground. This distance will be exactly 65m. For example, nearby the entrance of one bank.
Dismount, and get your achievement.
--- edit ---

If you're not a Mage or Paladin, I suggest finding a Paladin to cast a bubble on you (preferably in your group or guild, otherwise they might charge you for it). While it's possible for ANYONE to get this Achievement, less than half the classes have some leeway from falling too far (Rogues/Cat Form Druids have abilities that reduce fall damage, Pallys and Mages have their Immune spells); since it's nearly impossible to tell exactly how high up you are, you don't know if you're too low to get the achievement or too high to survive the fall. With a Paladin throwing a bubble on you, you can go well over 65 yards from the ground and still survive the fall.
Oh, and don't try to get one Paladin to bubble 2 people for the achievement; they're going to cast it on one person, but use the other one to save themselves. That happened to one of my guildies when we were waiting for everyone to get to the Tempest Keep raid.

Shattrah, the Aldor elevator. When you look at it, theres a opening in the front of it to look out of. As it rises, it narrows, till it comes to a pinch and then widens further up. Dismounting right at that pinch (the narrowest part of the gap) will give the achievement.

Want an easy way to do this?
Go to Thunder Bluff's northern elevators. Descend, and sit on the platform. Look at the screenshot I uploaded (or click
here
)
Note the area of yellow grass beyond the drop.
That
is where you want to aim. Take a running jump and aim right for that yellow patch and you should get the achievement quite easily. I have tested this with multiple characters. If you feel like this may be a risk, take off your durability armor.
For a video of this, please click

I got it by accident when testing a new char, If you're starting as a blood elf, you need to do a quest involving going up a tower near the academy.
At the top platform, there is Felendren. After you've defeated him, jump of the platform at the south side, towards the red roof, if you can place yourself on the edge of the red roof, you get the achievement... I can't quite explain how it works as i found it by accident.
Good luck trying :)

For Horde only, unless you're brave and/or ready to die. Take the Zep from ORG to UC and instead of walking onto the tower, jump off the front (any time, even when docked). That's how I got mine and a friend got hers. Too easy!

Easiest classes to do this as:
Paladin - Divine Shield
Mage - Ice Block
Easy classes to do this as:
Rogue & Druid - Feline Grace / *Whatever the rogue one is called*
Hardest classes to do this as:
All others.
A few tips:-
-If you are any class besides paladin / mage, be sure to have 100% health before attempting this achievement.
-Having more stam or less stam will NOT help your chances, as falling damage is % based. So whether your 100% health is 50 or 100000, you will take the same % of damage.
-I do believe that if you would fall onto a body of water with a SHAMAN'S waterwalking on, that you will take no damage. *I remember falling in Slave Pens on that one jump where you land onto a body of water... A shaman thought it'd be funny to cast Water Walking on me as I fell, but when I landed I took 0 damage *As a priest w/o using slowfall*. But I'm not 100% sure if this will work. I DO know for a fact that a Death Knight's "Path of Frost" will make you take fall damage when landing onto a body of water.
-Some other things to try would be to drink a Flask of Petrification *old PRE-BC flask that turns your character to stone, and you become immune to all types of damage until you "unstone". It's like a paladin's Divine Intervention *which you could also try to use*, but you cannot turn it off.
-One last thing, try a holy priest's guardian angel. Not sure if it'll work, nor have I tested it, but hey, try it anyways.
Good luck :)
EDIT: As Calmred has said below me *thanks for that btw :)* Spirit of Redemption in the Holy tree of a priest apparantly works.

HOW TO COMPLETE THIS ACHIEVEMENT WITHOUT DYING OR EVEN REALLY TRYING
Unless you are in a hurry to get this achievement or will not be questing in Northrend anytime soon, the hands-down
EASIEST
way to get this achievement is to complete the Mine-sweeper quest called "
Just Around the Corner
" in Storm Peaks.
Just allow yourself to get thrown around by running over the mines, eventually the Achievement will complete. I was simply trying to complete the quest and becoming frustrated by being blown up into the air every 3 seconds so it was a nice surprise to get this annoying achievement.
You can also try for the
Mine Sweeper
achievement at the same time.

While this might not be totally correct for everyone, I did the following to get the achievement done:
(Bloodelf Death Knight, Lv.77 at the time, no buffs.)
Mount your flying mount on the ground, tap your keyboard 68 times, unmount.
Worked like a charm for me and two of my friends who also play this game.
It should definately be doable that way for anyone, but it might be different the amount you
have to tap your keyboard before unmounting depending on race/class maybe.
I recommend doing it over a graveyard, was easier to find the magical number when I did it that way
since if I died I would lower the amount of taps after ressurecting and resting up health again.
And if I didn't take enough damage (99%-ish) I would increase the number.

Wyrmrest temple -> fly (on your mount) to the 2nd floor) -> you will be dismounted land on the ball (light floating in the middle of the room)
A fall from there will not kill you but will give you the achievement. I just did it on pure accident.
Actually, anywhere from that 2nd story works.
Have fun!

For those who can't get into Shattrath,
Go to the southern edge of the Dalaran Crater in Alterac. Look for a large round rune at the edge of the forcefield and go north from that point to the leftmost of the two promentaries that extend out into the crater. Look ahead and down to your right. There is a point where the pink/Purple trail leading down into the crater has a gap in it. Walk off the ledge in that direction. Be sure you're standing right at the edge of the ledge, and use normal movement not slowed down movement. You should land about one pace below the gap in the trail and get the achievement.

Here is my easy to understand Guide on how to get this simple achievement.- Anybody could do this... no level requirnents (exept for Arathi Basin)
Wrath of the Litch King- NOT NEEDED for this Achievement
Burning Crusade- Not Needed... but if you have it, its MUST easier to obtain this achievement without a level requirnment
Classic- You can obtain this at any level, but its recomended you wait till 20+ (Read Below)
No fancy places... this is the noobs guide. ENJOY
Paladins, Mages, Warlocks, Priests, and Engineers can all do this with Bubbles- Pallys, Slow Ball OR Ice Block for mages, Warlocks sacrifice their Void (has a change of failing if not done corrently), priests can bubble but its recomended to use Levitation, and engineers make the Parachute Cloak.
NOTE-
Warlocks- Sacrifice VoidWalker has a chance to fail if not done correctly... I reccomend you find another way to do this
Priest- Bubble is a possibility, its much more reccomended to use Levitation
Without Flying Mount: Scryer
1- Get a port to Shatt (or get to Shatt another way)
2- If you are Aldor, please wait, your part is coming up soon
3- If you are scryer, go to the left of the elevador and jump... make sure you are our away from the wall and when you land you should be severely hurt but not dead.
4- Congratulations
Without Flying Mount: Aldor
1- Find a Paladin to bubble you right before you call and jump off the elevedor... this is the only possible way to survive this severe jump if you are not a Priest, Paladin, or Engineer (Warlock possibly)
Flying Mount: Epic and Regular
What to do: Technically, falling from 65 feet will not kill you... however, the reason people always die is because there is no way to tell how high you are, and they over jump. If you have a flyer, pick the location you want to land and press the space bar until you reach 65 feet. I reccomend you go to the scryer elevador (Not under it, but close enough to see it without being attacked if you are aldor) and fly up to the top and then dismount. Very simple and Easy and if you can bubble that would be even better.
No Shatt: Level 20+ Only
1- Get into an Arathi Basin match
2- Go to the Lumber Mill right on the edge of the Hill
3- RUN off... do NOT jump.... this hill is borderline 65 feet and jumping will escilate that to a dying distance.
4- REMEBER: The Hill is
UNEVEN
and may require you to jump... use ur judgement

It'll work for Horde if you jump off the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity. The trick is doing it once the Undercity entrance comes into view. It'll work for Warlocks with their Voidwalkers out as you can sacrifice them to get the bubble

If you jump off the cliff heading out of Dun Niffflem, I went from 14974 to 249 health. Which is under 2% It's more random since the ground isn't flat.
I confirmed this like 12 times so try it out :)

I'm a 72 Priest with 6566 health... if I can do this, anyone can. I dropped and still had full health.
You will need: 1 Paladin complete w/bubble, 1 Fortitude, 1 Power Word Shield, 1 mount, access to Shatt.
Go to Shatt, Aldors Tier (even if you are Scryers friendly like me, you won't get transported for going up the lift). A the top of the elevator, step off, and your jump will be to the side of the lift. Now, turn around and face the lift after you step off, look to your left and you will see a nice long jump past the pavement. That's where you'll get your achievement.
Ask a friendly pally to help you with this....
Aim and position yourself to land exactly past the pavement to the left, but not up against the mountain on the right. (You'll see a nice little crevasse to land in.)
Buff yourself with Fortitude, and heal to give yourself full health.
Immediately bubble yourself, and mount up.
Back up the mount so you can take a running leap.
Taking your running leap off the platform, jumping just to add a yard or so.
The Pally needs to already target you and bubble you as you run.
Priests, you will fall and feel desperate to click Levitate - but don't! Levitate and any slow fall will not work to get this achievement. Just fall, you'll feel so alive and free....
Upon landing you will have full health, fortitude to get on with your next half hour, and the Going Down achievement under your belt!
Happy Landing!

It´s easy for druids:
1. You must go to Outland and shapeshift to fling form, then fly as high as possible
2. Then shapeshift to anything EXEPT cat
3. When the ground is near, you can instant shapeshift back to flying form, so you don´t die

Didn't see it listed... this can be completed in Shadowglen off of the great tree Aldrassil.
I went all the way to the top, from the top platform if you look down you can just miss hitting the roof of the building below. With my Nelf Druid I could jump and change to cat form and complete it. With my Dwarf Hunter I had to go a couple "planks" down and it looks like your jumping into the tree.
Either way... this place works too. Just takes a lil effort in finding the "right" spot.

An alternative for lower-level characters: I just got this achievement by jumping from the bridge to Stonewatch Keep into the water in Redridge. Be aware that you need to be near full health - the water is fairly shallow so you will still take damage (I took 490/502).

I actually achieved this in a most humorous way. I was on the last boss of Oculus as a holy priest, and our group screwed up and we wiped, so the dragon knocked me off my drake mount, while I was in the air, he killed me, so I was falling in Spirit of Redemption form. I landed on the ground as an angel (really taking no damage at all cause I was already dead), but it still gave me the achievement!

Dunno if it helps, as this would really only apply to higher levels obviously, but I got this on my DK - rather accidentally - in Storm Peaks. I had just landed on the ice bridge where the Flight Master for Sons of Hodir is located in Dun Niffelem. Simply put, I was lagging, hit auto run, and ran straight forward onto a crystal and then down to the ground, gaining the achievement. I've since used this method on two other 70+ toons I've got, can be done pretty much from anywhere on that same ice bridge.
The coords for the spot you wanna *run* off - wouldn't recommend actually jumping - are ( 62.4,61.2 )
Linked a screenie as well, just to clarify.

For Night Elves, this can be the very first thing you do with your level 1 alt. It works just fine for hunters or druids. Also works for higher levels.
Go to Shadowglen, northeast of Darnassus on the island of Teldrassil (which is actually a gargantuan tree trunk). Find the ramp going up and around the tree in Aldrassil and go up until you reach the first entrance. Face outward, standing on the brown log (looks lke a wooden railroad tie) closest to the top. It will be on your left if you are facing the wilderness with your back to the door. Bail off there, and you have your very first achievement.

I did this quite easily in Westfall. I was on my Level 58 Death Knight (fresh from her quests at Acherus), but I think it could be done by anyone. Go to the mine entrance that is on the cliffs above the South Western part of the zone (right next to the Dagger Hills). Since it's been a very long time since I did any quests in Westfall I can't say for sure if any of them send you to this mine, but you will find it easily enough.
#1, If you have No Mount:
Run to the edge of the cliff and look down at the beach. You will see a little cove and a small piece of beach. Run and JUMP towards that little piece of beach. You need to jump JUST BEFORE you get to the edge, otherwise you will go too far and kill yourself :) Your goal is not to get to the beach, but to a slight bump in the ground just below you. Since you are jumping over a slanted hill you need to jump far enough to reach it.
#2, If you have a Mount:
Same as #1, but don't JUMP after you run. Just run and the extra speed granted by your horse (or whatever you ride) will get you to the right spot.
EDIT: If you do end up dying there is a graveyard just north of this location, so the run back to try again is not too far :) Take off your armor if you're worried about it.

Im a level 80 mage, with a bit over 13,000 hps, and I was able to get the achiev. in Shat pretty easy. Mount up on your flying mount, right outside near the Flight Master would be a perfect spot, and you need to fly straight up until your mounts feet are about level with the tips of the jagged rocks things that come out of the sides of the temple in the center of Shatt (the one w/the blue crystal-type thing on top). You need to zoom in a little (NOT all the way) so you can see more like you are looking out of your toon's eyes. If you zoom in all the way (3rd person view?) it will mess you up. The just dismount! :)
... worked on my second try (had to find the right spot :)

I did this in the highest tower in Aldrassil, or Shadowglen if you will.
It's the beginnersplace for Night elves in Teldrassil.
There is a druidtrainer a bit up the tower, and if you go pass him and all the way up you can jump there (I did it as a druid in catform where falldamage is reduced, so you might wanna stay away from the highest place).
Be careful not to land on the house or in the water on one of the sides.
I tried in The Exodar, but didn't really get how to. It didn't work anyhow.
But I knew this would work because I accidently killed my newbe rogue there once. :)

If you have a flying mount do this:
Find a place with a visually interesting feature about the right height (a plain cliff is no good). Fly up to what you think is a survivable height, taking note of precisely where you are relative to something (fly right next to it).
Take off all your armor to be sure to avoid repair bills.
Drop. Eat. Fly up again, a little higher this time. Drop, eat, rinse, repeat -- et voilà!
I used the southern bridge across Shattrath's lower city. The point that worked for me was a couple yards above the bridge.

Just tried this by accident (I hope no one else has mentioned it). If you are a priest with Spirit of redemption, you can find a way to die in the air and fall as the spirit. It will give you the achievement. It happened to me while doing the Big wyrm daily for Sons of Hodir.

I can confirm that priest's Levitate spell will

I ran from the Jump-A-Tron to Aldor as fast as I could, and still had over 30 seconds of buff left.

I was leveling my shaman in Coldarra about 2 weeks after the release of WotLK. I was in Ghost Wolf form and I accidentally fell off of a ledge... VERY FAR. For some reason I did not die, and I was actually immune to fall damage for a solid 20 minutes. This is how I got the achievement the first time around.
On my DK I just went to the Scryer platform (the one on the right if you are on the lift looking toward the central point of the city) and jumped from there. Easy.

The easiest spot by far to get this achievement is jumping off the Scryer's Tier in Shattrath, but for low-level Alliance players that can't get to Shattrath, there is a spot in the Exodar that works. I have uploaded a screenshot showing where to stand and where to aim (still waiting on approval).
The starting spot is on the railing right at the top of the ramp in front of the inn -- if you have a good coordinates addon, I stood at 59.33, 33.14 for the screenshot. The goal is to angle left off the ledge and land on the lower level of the central spiral ramp. There is a diamond in the middle of the walkway (part of the floor pattern) that provides a good target. You want to aim a bit down and left of that. You can land right on it, but that's a bit farther than you actually need to fall (I landed right on it when testing this spot and had 9/1271 health left -- yes,
nine
), so aim toward a slightly higher part of the ramp to be safe.
You can accomplish the goal from this spot by just running off unmounted -- don't mount up or jump, as either will likely carry you too far and kill you.

I jumped successfully (after a few

Here are my coordinates for the start point: 72.8, 66.8 (Cartographer)
A running leap will carry you all the way to the valley floor and death. Landing on the top of one of the bumps below is not enough, so try to hit off-center of a bump. I'll upload a screenshot of my location for the leap.
Every other toon I've gotten this accomplishment with was an accident. It was really cool to go looking for a spot and make it work!

Ok, found a great spot accessible to low levels, too, mainly for alliance, thou.
Unfortunately at the moment I can't retrieve the coords, but I'll explain it since is very simple to get there.
Get to Darkshire and move east on the road to Deadwind Pass.
A few yards on that road and you'll see a gate on your left.
Follow that path going through it and you'll find yourself with a tower in ruins on your right and another gate on your left. The place is named Beggar's Haunt.
Go through the gate and you'll be facing a litle river. Follow it to the left, pass through the two fallen trees in the middle of the river and you'll get to a waterfall with three big rocks.
Jump on the rightmost rock, on its highest part (exactly in the center), then turn in order to face the fall and JUMP down.
It sometimes worked even without jumping, but not always.
Tested on all my characters and on another 6 belonging to other people. Guaranteed 100% working.
Probably the easiest way to get there for horde players would be through Grom'gol Base Camp, in Starnglethorn Vale, even if lower levels may have some hard times to move out of it to the north.

This is really easy now with the release of Isle of Conquest. As mentioned above, if you catapult yourself 65 yards up in the air, you will get it. Using the catapult to launch yourself gives you an immunity to damage like BoP so you don't die when you hit the ground. Grab a catapult (found at the docks) and aim in a high arc or park it up on the hangar and shoot yourself up/down 65 yards.

Heh... I make a mistake with daily quest "Thrusting Hodir's Spear".
When i want reach Wild Wyrm with flying mount in the air, the mount goes off and i fall down.... but not yet dead! This is enough for the achievement.
It seems Wild Wyrms fly at around 65 yards height. Try it with flight mount, and when you're at same height as Wild Wyrm, remove mount and let you fall down. Good chance for the archievement.
Good luck.
After examining the area:
You look out for the Wild Wrym who fly around anticlockwise. There is only one who fly really in the round circles at same height.
The coords for falling down is around 58.75,61.71.
Adjust youself to the height of Wrym, perhaps a bit higher, and remove flying mount. That should give the archievement.

Step up onto the siderail (facing North) & stand between the ledge that's just under the bridge & the ramp. And now, with an overhead view downwards...get completely smashed (for Drunken Stupor)...& walk straight north parallel to the ledge straight down to the lowest area below. Now heal up with pride over your newest achievement! 78 pala (me), 75 DK Xandrace, 40 rogue Tinie, & 32 lock Lockelori all lived time & time again. With & without buffs.

In ThunderBluff if you take your toon right to the edge between the walkways for the elevators, then set your character to "walk mode" and walk off the edge you'll fall the right distance. I've only tested this on the west elevators, not sure if this also works for the north elevators. This is easier than the other ThunderBluff method since it requires no jumping or finding a sweet spot. (Though you will overshoot if you are not in "walk mode."

This method has only been tried during Brewfest.
Go to Thunder Bluff, go to the southern lifts, go to the ramp to the lift on the right. Go right to the end as if you were going to get on the lift. Jump off the right corner. Try to land on the T'chali Brewery trailer while you're completely smashed. You won't lose much health... about half if I remember correctly. You'll end up getting both "Going Down?" and "Drunken Stupor".

Not sure how to measure 65 feet? Continue to die because you're a little too high, or miss the achievement because you were less than 65?
Here is a way to guarantee a perfect 65 feet:
1: Go to top of Scryer platform to the right of the lift.
2. Mount up
3. Run with mount off the platform, BUT also press jump rather than fall off (this jump makes the 62 feet turn into a perfect 65).
4. Land - voila - achievement :)

Duskwither Grounds in Eversong Woods is great for horde. Go to the tower and get access to the next tier. Then fall off the ledge. I did this by accident on the first day with a blood elf mage, level 10, nothing except frost armor and landed in some rocks near the beach, far enough away from any critters to avoid aggro.
Of course I was very surprised and kinda disappointed since I'd had my main for a while and had never found the right spot in Exodar or SW so I went on a mission to explore horde territory and then get that achievement (along with the Drunken Stupor). Turns out you can't access the second tier and falling onto the beach just from the entry point isn't enough. Talk about disappointment. At least Ashorttrio's post was accurate.

I found a nice spot for Alliance characters in Zangarmarsh.
If you look over the ledge just behind the flightmaster, you'll see a trio of huge mushrooms: two next to each other and a taller one slightly to the south of them. Jump to one of the shorter mushrooms and you'll get the achievement; you could also just run off, but I'd recommend using some way to increase your speed to make sure you hit the mushroom instead of the ground.
MAKE SURE YOU'RE AT FULL HEALTH IF YOU USE THIS SPOT.
My DK just did this; she had 6693 health, and the fall damage took her down to 227 health.

A little more relevant to Northrend...at the Argent Crusade grounds, there's a number of watchtowers around the perimeter of the grounds. These towers have flagpoles at the top of them. The tops of the flagpoles are just about 65 yards off the ground, maybe a bit more. Get on your flying mount next to a watchtower, fly straight up until you're even with the top of the flagpole (maybe just a bit lower), and dismount. Even if you were too high, it's a very short corpse run back.

There is a very easy way to get this achievement and as best I can tell you can do it at any level. It requires nothing special except going to Duskwood. Easiest way is to fly into Darkshire if you have the flightpoint. If you don't probably easiest to come in on the road from Redridge to Darkshire.
If you fly in, from the flightmaster come down to the road and turn left (East) towards Deadwood Pass. If you come in from Redridge, come in to Darkshire and turn left (East) towards Deadwood Pass. A little ways up the road at 83.9, 40.2 (before you get to Deadwood Pass) is a gate on the left (I imagine horde could probably come in via deadwood pass and turn right at the gate). Go through the gate and up the path. You'll discover Beggar's Haunt if you haven't already. At the top of the path is a ruined tower on the right and another gate on the left. Go through the gate on the left and you'll come right to a stream. Turn left and follow the stream past the two trees that have fallen over it to the edge of the falls where you'll be jumping.
At the edge there are three large rocks. Get on top of the rightmost rock facing out over the falls. You need to be on the very top center of the right rock as you're looking out over the falls. It's located at 88.5 , 24.1. If you are faced correctly you'll notice that the rock you're standing on looks pretty much like an arrow head. You want to face the point at the tip of the "arrow". That will line you up exactly perfect.
When you're lined up, simply run off. Don't "jump". Just run forward and basically almost walk off the rock. If you "jump" you'll go too far and die. You actually land behind the falls on a grassy ridge. You loose about 95% of your health, but you make the 65 ft requirement and get the achievement. It's as easy as that. I've jumped it two dozen times without dying once and got the achievement the first try. I even did it in Bear, Cat, and Cheetah form with my Lvl 28 Nelf Druid. (Careful with the Cheetah - he runs a little faster and you might go a little further than you'd like if you aren't careful.) The really cool part about this one is, there's absolutely nothing to fight to get there, nothing that's going to jump on you and kill you after you've made the jump, no mobs, and actually a nice place to fish.
Going to try to add a screen shot for it. It's uploaded just waiting on approval.

The best place to get this achievement is next to the flight path at the Sons of Hodir. It is 65 yards to the bottom just make sure you are at full health. Of course most folks just find a pally before then :P

I must admit that i got this accidently on my first day as a night elf hunter, but it's also quite a good spot and that's Aldrassil in the nelf starting zone - I fell off about 3/4 of the way up iirc.

yes you can get the achievement by falling into water at redridge mountains were the black rock horde base is locate on the bridge but u need to be at the right spot to do it. my pally did this along with my mom's toon, by accident due to trying to run from the mobs. The perceive point is not known yet but it can happen.

As a mage, I went to Dalaran, over to the flight master's area, mounted my drake, and flew to the northwest side of Dalaran. There's a floating island over there, just northwest of the statue of Archmage Antonidas. Flew to the crater, dismounted, walked off the edge, and hit Ice Block just before impact. It counted.

I just did this. All you have to do for alli at EXODAR is to walk perpendicularly (a perfect 90 degree angle tothe plane of the door) from the inne. Do no jump or run. Ease your way out. You will fall and land just shy of the far wall to the ramp. Poor avatar committed suicide so many times, i decided to look up the acheivement here and then do a little experimentation. I GUARANTEE this works. Only took 2 tries.
Happy falling.

i did this as a feral druid w/ no buffs except survival instincts
just go to either shatt and jump off one of the rises or thunderbluff (where i did it)....simple
i went into dire bear form and popped survival instincts and made it to the bottom w/ 1k health left....so i went into resto spec and healed back up

I did this in Dalaran on my priest. I went to the landing got on a flying mount, flew up to level with the tower over the entrance to the landing and fell off. Had low enough health (1% i think) to get the Triage achievement when I landed.

I know an much easier spot in Stormwind City. All you need is a 60% mount or a 100% mount.
Check my video on youtube ----> Tutorial Going Down?

You get the achievement on every try when you have done right. All classes can do it.
Just do as in my video and you get it. Takes 2 min.

I jumped from those really high paths in Stormwind on my mount and I died, so it is possible but fairly stupid. I tried from the Exodar multiple times in multiple places and it didn't work.

I got this achievement at Telredor, Zangarmarsh (Outland). You want to go onto the large platform (just below the top of the huge mushroom) and jump! Good luck!

I did this by chance by falling into the cavern at 48,57 in the searing gorge. I fell in from the western side, almost where it hits 48,56. Good luck :)
