The original effect of this talent was moved up to tier 2 in patch 2.3. This new effect is a worthy replacement. +crit is essential for a raiding DPS paladin and this makes it all the much easier. Making your seals undispellable is a nice addition for PvP too.

I feel this is quite handy to use in conjunction with seal of command.

1: use seal of the crusader
2: use judgement of the crusader
3: use seal of command.

at this point your judgement of the crusader is active, so when your seal of command procs, it benefits from the extra crit chance this talent offers as well as your judgement of command.

Expected to be implemented in the next content patch:

"Sanctified Crusader (Retribution) is renamed to Sanctified Seals, which now increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and melee attacks by 1/2/3% and reduces the chance your Seals will be dispelled by 33/66/100%."

So not only would you get an additional 3% crit on top of the 3% crit from Improved Seal of the Crusader, it basically krazy-glues your Seals to your forehead.

I was playing my shaman and spammed purge on a paladin and now you can see their buffs, what it does is say

"you failed to dispell persons seal of command" etc

it will keep saying this too, even if you only have 1 seal and no buffs the dispell will still use mana and get the same message

and all he had was seal of command and sanctity aura, so the thing is when someone dispells your buffs and picks it at random, it may pick one of your seals and skip a buff so it's a bit more beneficial than you might think for example, if you have blessing of freedom up

Regarding dispel mechanics, and their recent (relevant) change, not to target un-dispelable buffs.

2 ranks in this, along with stoicism, will bring the dispel resist chance up to 96%, which one would claim is almost undispelable, but still targetable by a dispel mechanic, therefore protecting the rest of our buffs, and giving a GCD headache on that pesky priest/shaman, if she insists to "peel" us of our goodies.

I've seen an argument "flying" around though, claiming that the base dispel resist chance every buff has (5%) will actually be considered in an additive way concerning the above (96%) resist chance, pumping the whole sum up to 101%, and whoop-di-doo, the spell is again un-dispelable, therefore not targetable.

Taking one rank on this isn't considered, as the 63% chance ain't gonna make that much of a difference (compared to getting stoicism alone), and you'll lose 2% crit on top of that.

Anyone willing to test if stoicism plus 2 ranks in sanctified seals leave our seals open to dispel mechanics?

If not, one might as well get all 3 ranks for the 3% crit, but if yeah, well, I'm willing to sacrifice 1% crit chance to give a better protection on my blessings/hands/wings vs systematic dispel mechanics.

For a healer this might be a nice talent to boost your crit. I figured out this spec to get it.

This will get you +13% crit on all your heals, and +19% crit on your Holy Shock from talents alone, not even factoring in buffs and gear!

I took Heart of the Crusader (instead of Deflection) since I'll be judging for Judgements of the Pure... nice boost for DPSers. There are 2 points left which can be used for a 4% BoK, Pursuit of Justice, or anything else you would like.

Some things that aren't optimal about this spec:
- Lack of Blessing of Kings;
- Lack of Blessed Life (which I think is kind of nice, but not a great must-have talent).

With the latest patch the the critical strike chance of spells and hits is still increased by 3%, but the dispel resistance has been removed

And i don't remember the 15% bonus damage on exorcism and crusader strike, it seems they replaced dispel resistance with this sweet, more retribution talent skill... But what I know, I'm only a Druid :)

Is this talent any useful to holy pallies? I can see that it raises critical HIT chance of spells and attacks. Does this affect heals too?

So with Glyph of Exorcism and this, that is 35% bonus to it's damage!
