If you're like me an are extremely upset with how awful this set looks but somehow like the model of the shoulders, you'll be glad to know that the Shoulders cause the laugh/cast emote reaction while the Belt causes the roar emote reaction to the gear.

You don't have to wear the gaudy Chest/Legs which both do not give a robe and a Shaman without a robe is just wrong.

I think this is one set where the male version has less clothing than the female version.

If you don't happen to like the chest piece for whatever reason (there isn't much there), I've found that the Ruthless Gladiator's Ringmail Armor sold in Dalaran for 1100 HP fits the look perfectly. I'm very glad I found this because I really didn't like the way the chest looked and I didn't want to hide it with a tabard.

P.S. The Tol Barad alliance tabard (horde/alliance different?) looks very nice especially on skinny characters.

The shield Wall of Terror from Kel'Thuzad 25-man works remarkably well with the Windfury set. The midtone and dark colors blend very nicely with Windfury and the extra face (or skull) certainly goes well with what's already happening on the set.

If you are looking for a kilt/dress that matches seamlessly to the Windfury set, look no further than the Ruthless Gladiator's shaman leggings.

You may get impressed by the effect that burns your character when performing /roar emotion, but that is not a set bonus. In fact, transmog your BELT into the one in this set will grant you that effect, and that is enough, no other pieces needed. However, the shoulder fire still requires you to mog/equip the shoulder piece in this set, but this shoulder is awesome anyway so it won't matter too much.

Someone has reported that elemental shaman may randomly get the character burning effect during combat, however I was not able to reproduce the case. If someone know how it works, please post here and I will dig into it for more details.

Looking for a compatable kilt or robe for this set. Prefer wearing pretty dresses as a shaman. Suggestions? Also how about mace, fist suggestions?

Another shield model that works well with this set is Shield of Assimilation(greenish)/Protector of Frigid Souls(goldish). Colors aren't exactly the same, but the overall design matches nicely. It's also fairly easy to obtain.

When i choosed shield and wepon for this set i took the 鑽孔蟲之碟 but 恐懼之牆 is also nice. I took the 墮滅之刃 for dagger and the 英雄意志釘頭錘 for mace. When you choose cloak i STRONGLY recommend the 頑強巨披風 its like it was made for this set! Post you´re choices i would like to hear you´re options :)

I can strongly recommend using 托拉爾，破碎王座節杖 for main hand mace and for offhand shield 其拉祝福壁壘 im personally usining atm and it looks awesome

The MoP (Shaman) Challenge Mode transmog set is going to be no longer available with the release of the Warlords of Draenor pre-launch event patch, or slightly before then.

The reasoning for removal of the sets is summarized by Bashiok on the WoW forums:

I just noticed something the other night during a flex run. Occasionally my shaman would grow big as if lust/hero had been popped, but it hadn't. One of my guildies noticed and remarked on it. Since then, I've had this effect occur when both healing and as enhance. I can say for certain it's not trinket procs and I use mostly the windfury set for xmog; being male draenei, I haven't seen any procs show in the combat log that would indicate what's going on.

tl/dr; sometimes get huge, flash grey/black, spec independent

Has anyone else noticed this?

If you look closely, you can see the faces on totems (the shoulders) talking when casting/attacking. Kind of creepy.

Well, I actually like the chest for this set a lot, so I went with stuff that has green in it for transmogging:

Waist: Pocket-Nuke Belt
Legs: Grievous Gladiator's Ringmail Leggings
1h Mace: Split Greathammer
Shield: Blockade's Lost Shield

If you play a female troll like me, you'll notice clipping with the shield, but it's pretty hard to find a matching shield for this that doesn't do this.
Also, the hammer has a bit of blue on it, but since I am a caster, this matches the Jade Spirit enchant which ruins any set anyway.

Other greenish belts would probably work with this as well, but I had this one lying around and anything that doesn't make my character look like she's about to give birth to twins is awesome compared to the original belt. Seriously, what's with the huge belts?

Oh, and I noticed the /roar effect without having the belt mogged. I tried it a bunch of times and there's definitely something happening. The shoulders appear to talk when I cast, too, so maybe the belt is not mandatory for the emote at all?

Long story short: I hope the next shaman CM set won't be so awful that the first thing people think is "I like those shoulders, but damn I need to find alternatives for everything else".

For everyone that wants to transmog a kilt with this set, Sanctified Frost Witch's Kilt fits pretty much perfectly. It's what I plan on using once I get the Windfury set as my female Troll (alongside Cloud Serpent Helm).

If you're looking for a decent weapon for this set I am using 軍團之斧 for my Enhance weapons. I think it goes well with the fire theme of the set.

If you are looking a fist weapon go whit the set, I found Knuckle of Victory to be a great match.

Beggars belief why this set is called Windfury, when its so fire themed!

Anyhow, recently aquired the set and changed back to Male Pandaren from male orc. The casting animation of male orcs does not look terribly good with those huge shoulders, as orcs moves their shoulders an awful lot when casting. The pandas are a lot better suited for the Windfury set.

Totemic Purification Rod matches quite well with the color scheme and the shield below.

Shieldwise Wall of Terror matches perfectly in tone with the CM set and the weapon. Plus its not carried on the back at an overly tilted angle, nor bopping like so many other shields.

Imho the best shield to use with this set is 失落的封鎖線之盾. Colors are pretty much the same.

Still tryin to figure out which mace would fit too, the best i've found so far is 戰歌懲處錘

In my humble opinion, this is the coolest mail set in the game. If you're Enhancement and roll fist weapons, 傲慢 is a really good choice with it. It's sold in Dalaran for 550 Justice Points.

Note: you only need to transmog the shoulders and the belt (big fire) for the procs to take effect.

The 熔腐者苔癬披風 (綠蕨孢子巨人 LFR) matches this set well: it has the same greens, browns, and even some grey that matches the chains on the Windfury Spirit Guides.

Guys can you please tell me: so is it now IMBOSSIBLE to get this set in Draenor? What if I complete all of the challenges of MoP gold getting there through the vendors that teleport you to the challenges and I do everything with gold will they just not give me the set?
