I just finished mine, and it puts out a slightly glowing drum you can interact with. Which I tried to do, but it did nothing. So I'm guessing its bugged atm.

If the use the drum near trolls, They will start to sing/chant/hollar and dance.

ok their is an item called spectrecles and item you get from a quest in shadowmoon valley that allow you to see ghosts which will show you ghosts that appear when you use the drum they sing and dance and i believe the drum will also work with regular trolls.
