Things from what I've seen and read that he does:
- When you put him out he'll say "Too soon!" in a (cute?) voice.

- He'll sometimes throw his hammer up in the air and catch it.

- He works as a cooking fire!

- He ignite critters that get too close to him.

Got mine today, very cute!

He burns nearby critters and also serves as a cooking fire!

His follow animation is the most unique I've seen from a companion pet, instead of running along beside you like other companions he waits until you stop moving then does the classic "big" ragnaros submerge animation, then resurfaces next to you a short time later.

This follow mechanic would make a nice function for shaman totems I must say.

He also has the classic line, "By fire be purged!" as one of his voices when you click on him.

To answer an above question, yes, he does throw his hammer in to the air from time to time and catches it.

Something that nobody seems to have mentioned is that he is unusually large! I'm guessing at least as big as a Gnome, possible a Dwarf :D

Unique Features
Lil' Ragnaros follows you underground and submerges/emerges whenever you move/stop moving. This pet can serve as a cooking fire and also sets nearby critters on fire.

How to get it
This pet can be purchased from The Blizzard Store for $10.00 or €10.00 or £9.00. As with other account-wide loot codes, it can only be used on a single World of Warcraft account. If you have multiple accounts on a single battle.net account, you must purchase one code per account. This pet will be mailed to all your current characters and new characters upon creation.

Be careful to purchase the correct loot code, as NA codes won't work on EU accounts and vise versa!

Instead he pops up right behind me about every 10 seconds, whether I'm walking, running, or mounted. Even though I can get further away from him per each emergence when I'm on an epic mount, he still pops up in 10 second intervals.

Unfortunately, Lil' Ragnaros makes a loud "bamf" sound every time he emerges, so if I have him out on a character who is walking (be they low level, or indoors) I hear BAMF BAMF BAMF every 10 seconds in my rear speakers.

One thing I thought was worth mentioning about his ability to serve as a cooking fire - although he's summoned 'forever', the cooking fire part seems to dissipate after two minutes. I timed it and I couldn't make any more food after 2 mins 5 seconds. I'm assuming it's 2 mins flat and I was just being slow.

The real cooking fire lasts 5 minutes, over two and a half times as long.

And for reasons unknown, the pet started working as a cooking fire again without resummoning it after the real cooking fire had worn out. It does seem to be a bit buggy considering you have a two min duration and suddenly it starts working again.

- bought from the blizzard pet store.
- Trows his hammer in the air
- dives/merges into the ground and emerges instead of walking. (he makes a sort of "bwapf" sound when he emerges)
- Sometimes he attacks critters.
- keep clicking on him and he gets angry :D
- he serves as a cooking fire
- He is quite big!

IMO, its ANNOYING that he submerges when you run. I rarely stop moving, which then i don't get to see him ever! C'mon blizz! give me an off switch for that stupid movement!
