it was a need for warriors, i mean in wotlk look the 3v3 charts and search for warriors...
BTW by invulnerabilities does it count too skills like Hand of Freedom?
i think GC said that it will stuck with sunder !
That means warriors just got a raid melee dps boost ability :) if it is true thought.

OKAY patch 3.1 is here but i can already see some things that need to be changed with this skill.
1.) MAKE IT INSTANT CAST. Thats already enough time for a paladin to perhaps stun you, and then throw a holy light on.
2.) 10 RAGE MAXIMUM. Say a paladin uses his bubble when you are at 2 rage and your fighting him 1v1. How do you get 25 rage? I donno find a bunny and hit it before he heals himself? BS. Blizz promised us we'd be able to generate rage by hitting immune targets AND by dodging and parrying attacks but no... never happened.
3.) 2 MINUTE COOLDOWN. Come on.... 5 minutes? that paladin's bubble doesn't even have that long of a cooldown. At least make it so we can use this thing more than once per battleground. Just about everytime i find myself locked in a battle with a ret pally 1v1 (very often bgs are spammed with pallies nowadays) he almost always uses his bubble.
1.) 1.5 second cast isn't that bad, and unless the paladin is already on top of you, in which case even if you throw, he'll still stun, and you could definately get off a throw if he's even 10 yards out.
2.) This is a powerful skill. 25 rage is very reasonable. Yeah, you won't be able to pop it at the start of a battle, but a paladin or a mage wouldn't have popped iceblock/bubble at the start of a battle.

Don't say it has to be boosted for no reason at all, you can't give every warrior a "let's remove all immunities" button. (10 rage, instant and 2 minutes cooldown) like you suggested, then we just become the next paladins, and I rolled a warrior to because I DIDN'T want to be a Overplayed (and slightly lame, imo) class.
I disagree with this. There are currently only 2 classes in the game that can gain immune status, so obviously this move is designed with them in mind. However, since that would mean that any time you weren't fighting a mage or a pally that this move would be useless, hence the armor pen debuff it grats. Lower the CD and you'll have people spamming this in situations where they were not supposed to be able to use it. That being said, 5 minutes is a bit long for what this does, and the rage cost is pretty steep. I could see it costing 20 rage, but 25? AND a 5 minute CD? yeeeeeeeeeouch. This means that any warrior who isn't already in battle stance when someone goes immune better hope they have a few points in tactical mastery or this move is completely worthless. Idk..I just think it's pretty dumb that if I wanted to pvp as fury or prot I'd have to spec into arms simply because without doing so this move would be unusable.

I never said it was ideal, but I just think it's quite a shame that once we get something that is quite usefull and clearly a boost to warriors, some of us start to QQ because it isn't powerful enough, I also clearly stated that I think being able to cast this only in battle stance, and the limited use for no-immune targets is a bit of a let down.
But hey, as a pvp warrior you should stance dance in any spec (except maybe for pure prot) and therefore have tactical mastery (which is on the same tier as stun reduce, and the next tier gives impale, two of the other key talents for any pvp-warrior).
You don't NEED to be fully arms to use this, it gets a bit harder, just like it's a bit harder for pure arms to use spell reflect.

Good ability, makes me change stances from Def to Battle when fighting Pallys just to use it. Sure I lose some of my Prot abilitys like Imp Revenge and being able to use my shield block for more Shield Slam damage. But I gain this AND the ability to execute the Paladin after the bubble breaks. All win there.
Against mages, the Ice Block is just a "So I gotta wait a few more seconds to eat ya?" ability, no need to use this on them.

usually happens when im 1v1ing a paladin when he usues his bubble im at 0rage and charge is on cd as well as bloodrage so i can just stand while firstaiding (if im not dotted by the paladin..) and see that the pally gains full hp and beats me lol... imo it needs a rage cost nerf

I'd like to add that this spell has in fact a practical use in PVE.
It stacks with Sunder Armor, for a total of 40% armor reduction for 10 seconds.
A good time for use it is for Heroisms/Bloodlusts, in these moments when everyone pulls out the pewpew.

prot warrior here.Just put 2 points into improved charge and charge him while hes bubbled he might have enough time to get one light off but most of the time i get their health down fast and force em to use bubble before they have much of a chance to hurt me.

Yea, the 1.5 second cast time isn't bad I have no problems with it, its helps me in Raids. PvPs, and PvEs. But the rage cost is a bit high for this skills, 20 rage does sounds nice but Blizzard made it like that for a reason I guess. Now on the topic about Divine Shield having a 5 minute CD, but you got to take the effect of there debuff into effect. Once that debuff is gone, they got about another two to three 'save yourself' skills' but then again that 2 minute debuff should give you time to nuke them.
As for a glyph, I would be looking forward to that if Blizzard decides to make one.

Well I know it's really annoying when a Paladin gets a full Holy Light off while you are still interrupting, so I think:
When it is cast, it interrupts, but only if it removes an invulnerability.

It's a little easier to use it while stance dancing since 3.2. patch because Bloodrage

now gives 20 initial rage and 10 over time, making it possible to cast Shattering Throw after 5 seconds if you're completely rage depleted. Considering that during a stance switch warriors retain at least 10 rage, you're just two clicks away from casting the shattering throw.

It works the same way as Mass Dispel. When cast on a pally who has Divine Shield up or an Ice-Blocked mage, it will say Immune, not because the target is immune to the removal of their shield, but technically because they are immune to the effect of the other part Shattering Throw, "reducing the armor on the target by 20% for 10 sec." I don't believe that you can *miss* Shattering Throw. So as long as it is cast at the target, it should definitely remove their shield.

Someday Blizzard will realize that this ability needs to be seriously beefed up in order to be effective. You would almost think they're teasing us, and it's not funny.
Make it instant.
Make it available much sooner than 71.
Make it available in all stances, or make it cost no rage.
And while they're at it, it sure would be great to lower the cd on it, so that it can compete against something like a Priest's Mass Dispel.
Then you will have a worthwhile move that will make Warriors useful in PVP for something other than tanking or dying.

First of all, many said that this spell should be nerfed soon. Why it should be nerfed? Because it's a too great skill to use? If this skill is too great to use, how much too great to use divine shield is? I say, divine shield is much better, especially if you can heal, and shattering throw only removes divine shield at cost of great rage, so which of those 2 spells should be nerfed first? Nerfing shattering throw makes no sence. Also, for those who think that the rage cost is too big for this skill:
*Charge with talent improved charge generates 25 rage, thats exactly what you need even if you have 0 rage.
*For Protection warriors like me - you'll need to change stance (from defensive to battle) to use this skill, so make sure you have talent tactical mastery raised until rank 3/3, then after changing stance you'll have 25 rage, and if you hadn't 25 or more before changing stance, you can always charge him.
*I found this: if you have talent Gag Order (protection) raised until 2/2, your heroic throw and shield bash should have a chance to silence the target for 3 sec., but because of a bug or something, I don't know, it might be fixed or it might be only in my server, but with this talent, your shattering throw ALSO silences the targer for 3 sec., found that out while a paladin was casting holy light with his divine shield on, shattering throw removed the D - shield and instantly interrupted his healing, not allowing him to heal again for a few seconds!
*For those who are not prot and want something like that: if you have enough rage to cast shattering throw, try getting a distance first, use shattering throw on him and after it hits the target, removing it's invulnerability, use charge - he will be probably casting a heal at that moment, so you'll interrupt it with that 1,5 sec stun, get some rage, and because he will probably have not too much hp left ( of course he will, he'll use divine shield only when he's almost out of them), at the moment or few secs later you'll be able to use execute on him with plenty of rage from charge.
*And one more thing, shattering throw's cooldown is equal to divine shield's/ice block's cooldown, so if you'll be fighting the same guy just after you removed his shield with your shattering throw and killed him, he wont be able to use divine shield again until you can't use your shattering throw. Enjoy :)

The only changes that I would like to see are making it instant cast and allowing it to be used in all 3 stances. I could see Blizzard keeping it as a Battle Stance only ability because it would most likely be used to remove a Immunity and then Execute immediately after. My only concern with that is that Protection Warriors tend not to stance dance as much in PvP because they are meant to stay meaty.

Strangely, the 4.3 PTR currently shows this as no longer scaling with AP at all and just doing a basic 12 damage. This doesn't really affect its PvP capability as it does no damage when removing immunities anyway, but it's a bit sad to see it become even less useful in PvE.

Why hasn't anyone pointed out that the *NEW* Shattering Throw doesn't reduce armor on targets anymore? The only thing they did was increase the attack power modifier by an additional 28.4%, but removed the most awesome part about this ability.
It's application in PvE content!
