It should be a 310% flight speed increase.

Now only takes 50 mounts, much more reasonable! :)

Is the new 50-mount confirmed achievement with this reward.

The letter from Mei Francis that you recieve with the mount says:
I couldn't help but notice how good you are with the livestock. With all of the activity around here, business has been better than ever for me.
I don't suppose you'd mind looking after this Albino Drake for me? I simply don't have enough spare minutes in the day to care for all of these animals.

Harder for a tauren imo. You only get 6 wolves (org rep) 5 kodos (tb) 4 PVP mounts (incl. frostwolf howler), 8 talbuks (maghar).
That amounts to 23 mounts, with 18 (7 hawkstriders, 6 raptors and 5 skeletal horses) unusable rep mounts.
Flying mount wise,3 normal flying windriders, 4 epic flying windriders, 5 nether rays, 6 nether drakes, 1 hippogryph.
Thats 19 flying mounts, total of 42 mounts.
The last 8 must come from
professions:
Engineering: 2 flying machines both epic and normal, 1 bike(wotlk only)
Tailoring: 2 Flying carpets, epic and normal(wotlk only)
1 Armored Brown Bear (wotlk only)
1 snow gryphon/blue armored windrider (wotlk only)
1 Armored Black Bear (Achievement; kill leaders of cities)
1 Armored War Mammoth (wotlk only)
2 Black War Talbuk/Riding Talbuk (pvp marks, halaa)
Up to here its 10 mounts assuming both tailoring and engineering is taken up and halaa pvp is actually viable.
Other sources include:
2 Brewfest mounts
1 Hallows End Horse
1 Attumen Steed
1 Ashes of Alar
1 White Warstrider (Hmgt)
1 Anzu (Hsettek)
1 Baron mount
1 zg tiger
1 zg raptor
4 Arena drakes
6 drakes (Eye of Eternity,Obsidian Sanctum,CoT Stratholme,rep)( wotlk only)
-
Azure
25 man Eye of Eternity
-
Blue
10 man Eye of Eternity
-
Black
10 man Obsidian Sanctum
-
Twilight
25 man Obsidian Sanctum
-
Bronze
H Culling of Stratholme beat the timer loot
-
Red
Wyrmrest Accord Exalted
7 Proto-dragon mounts (wotlk only)
-
Time-Lost
rare mob
-
Blue
H Utgarde Pinnacle
- 1 egg from sholazar basin. rare.
- 4 more from achievements
2 spectral tiger
2 rocket mount
1 turtle
1 deathknight flying mount,Ebon blade rep(deathknight only)
1 deathknight land mount (free)(deathknight only)
I am not sure if the brooms are counted now that you can learn them as a spell, maybe the timer gets removed.
edit:drakes now available via vendor, thx for the tip *goes buying*

The brooms unfortunately do not count as a mount for this achievement. Check out

Do the Deadsteed/Felsteed count as a mount? Or no?

Oop!
Missed a set of mounts, though few people get them anymore. ;_;
The Qiraji set in Ahn'Qiraj Temple. There's a good 3-5 mounts in there as random trash drops.

The next patch gives all races the possibility to get all mounts.
Like tauren on a raptor and night elf on a mechanostrider.

You could use the grind for this mount to help cross out those rep achievements as well. I play a Night Elf Hunter, and I simply used rep/faction mounts to get my Albino Drake - of course, this costs a bit of gold. I therefore had to only rely on 1 pvp/chance drop mount to make the number (in my case, it was the Swift Brewfest Ram). The below is a base list made for the majority of Alliance players who do not have professions that grant them the ability to create mounts - 4 out of 5 of the alliance races cannot ride the Gnomish mounts (yet), PvP mounts are an unreliable grind, WotLK mounts are generally more expensive than BC mounts, chance drop mounts are few and far between, and not everyone is an engineer or a tailor, so I simply categorised these mounts as 'Other Mounts', and you will only need 1 'other' mount to make 50 with this list.
Riding Mounts
Alliance Races:
- Humans: 4x level 30 Horse mounts and 4x level 60 Horse mounts.
- Night Elves: 3x level 30 Saber mounts and 3x level 60 Saber mounts.
- Dwarves: 3x level 30 Ram mounts and 3x level 60 Ram mounts.
- Draenei: 3x level 30 Elekk mounts and 3x level 60 Elekk mounts.
Other Pre-BC Factions:
- Winterspring: 1x level 60 Winterpring Frostsaber mount.
Outland Factions:
- Kurenei: 8x level 60 Talbuk mounts.
Outland Faction Flying Mounts
- Alliance: 3x normal Gryphon mounts and 4x epic Gryphon mounts.
- Netherwing: 1x Netherwing Drake mount.
- Sha'tari Skyguard: 5x Nether Ray mounts.
- Cenarion Expedition: 1x Cenarion War Hippogryph mount.
Other Mounts
- 1x Other rep / chance drop / festival drop (not including brooms) / profession / pvp / WotLK mount.
Of course, you can sub quite a lot of the above mounts out for the various mammoths, drakes and bears you can grind for or buy, as well as any pvp mounts, profession mounts, and any chance drop mounts you have. This is simply a basic list. :)

To get this mount I had to wait for the new patch that allows Taurens to ride the racials. Hers what i have:
(With much thanks to Kenomee, my wonderful hubby who endured grinding all the rep for the silvermoon chickens)
(Horde Only)
Armored brown bear (dalaaran mount)
Azure Nether Drake (these can be bought on netherwing ledge after getting exhaulted)
Black Hawkstrider
Blue Hawkstrider
Black War Raptor (pvp)
Blue Qiraji Battle Tank (AQ40)
Blue Windrider (windrider are obtained in Shadowmoon Valley from the horde base there)
Blue Skeletal Horse
Brown Kodo
Brown Skeletal Horse
Brown Wolf
Cobalt Nether Drake
Cobalt Riding Talbuk (exaulted with Mag'Har or Kurenei gets you rep for talbuks, found in Nagrand) sp?
Cobalt War Talbuk
Dire Wolf
Grey Kodo
Emerald Raptor
Great Grey Kodo
Great White Kodo
Great Brown Kodo
Green Skeletal Warhorse
Green WIndrider
Onyx Nether Drake
Purple Nether Drake
Purple Skeletal Warhorse
Purple Hawkstrider
Red Skeletal Horse
Red Windrider
Silver Riding Talbuk
Silver War Talbuk
Swift Blue Raptor
Swift Brown Wolf
Swift Grey Wolf
Swift Green Windrider
Swift Olive Raptor
Swift Orange Raptor
Swift Red Windrider
Swift Purple Windrider
Swift Timber Wolf
Swift Yellow Windrider
Tan Riding Talbuck
Tan War Talbuk
Tawny Windrider
Timber Wolf
Turquiose Raptor
Veridian Nether Drake
Violet Nether Drake
Violet Raptor
White Riding Talbuk
White War Talbuk
Yellow Qiraji Battle Tank (yes AQ mounts do count though they are only ridable in AQ)
Other than the free first Nether drake and the AQ mounts, everything cost about 3000 gold in the end. Maybe more. I lost count. As far as faction rep for the Horde, I spent alot on runecloth, and time on doing lowbie quests, agian I lost count but it cost about 1000 in runecloth, maybe more.

I got this achievement without purchasing any from the Argent Tournament or being an engineer. I bought the armored bear and the armored snowy gryphon from Mei Francis in Dalaran (so I did need WoTLK). I grinded for rep to purchase the Talbuks in Nagrand, and then I just bought all the mounts I could from each faction. This also includes purchasing the flying gryphons (for alliance).
Not a hard achievement and a lot cheaper since 3.2 patch.

I received my Albino Drake awhile back and I just adore it. I've seen a few people on my server (Malygos) ask this question so I thought I would answer it here. The Albino Drake does NOT give 310 flying. You would still have to purchase it or achieve one of the mounts that do. I'm no expert, I know
What a Long Strange Trip It's Been
awards you the Violet Proto Drake as well as 310 flying. As for others, I cannot confirm personally.

Got it today (Black Drake was my 50th mount).
To tell you the truth, as excited as I was for this long awaited achievement the mount was kind of bland looking. Although it was cool to have, and a nice model, it just didn't seem all that spectacular. But maybe that was just my hype overshadowing how cool it was. Point is, I'm riding my Black Drake, not my Albino Drake.
To those of you who are thinking of this achievement still do! Like i said, the mount is still very cool it's just about preference!

How in the world is this albino? I mean, it's nice but... do Blizz know what "albino" means? :P
Trivial to get with 5.0 and the account-wide mounts. I didn't even know how I got this until I looked it up on WoWhead. BTW, achievement mounts now are automatically added to your spellbook, they no longer come in the mail.

For a cheap, cost effective way to get this mount, along with two titles, listen up:
94% of the 50 mounts, or 47 mounts, are attainable by level 40 or so.
For one of the titles, you MUST be a level 68. Artisan riding, while not required will make the grind much easier.
I did this on my level 85 death knight, but the mount + one title is easily doable at level 60, though MUCH easier at level 70.
If you are level 70 or above, skip to the bottom and then return to the top.
This is a horde guide, just saying.
Levels 20 to 40. Journeyman riding required.
Buy all your racial mounts. This will cost roughly up to 50 gold, depending on discounts and what not.
Buy all the tabards for the other racial factions.
The factions are: Silvermoon, Orgrimmar, Undercity, Bilgewater Cartel, Thunder Bluff, Huojin Pandaren, Sen'Jin Village
If you are a blood elf (hey sexy :D) then your home town is Silvermoon, Eversong Woods, Eastern Kingdoms. The mount vendor is at Thuron's Livery, a nice little shop seen when you exit Silvermoon, take a left and walk while hugging the city walls. You will buy 7 Hawkstriders, 4 at level 20 and another 3 at level 40.
If you are a troll, your home town is Sen'Jin Village, Durotar, Kalimodor. The mount vendor can be found at the southern part of Sen'Jin, directly south of the flight master. You will buy 6 raptors, 3 at level 20 and 3 at level 40.
If you are orcish, your home town is the Horde Capital, the city of Orgimmar, Durotar, Kalimodor. The mount vendor is a bit tricky to find, but is
奧古納羅‧狼行者
, or Ogunaro Wolfrunner. He is located in the Valley of Honor. From him, you will purchase 7 wolves, 4 at level 20 and 3 at level 40.
If you are a Forsaken / Undead, your home town is Undercity. Undercity is commonly referred to as the secondary Horde Capital, the Capital of the Eastern Kingdoms. Undercity is in Tirisifal Glades, Eastern Kingdoms. Your mount vendor, however, is NOT in Undercity. It is easiest to make your way to Undercity and purchase a flight from the flight master located in the Trade Quarter near the Warchief's Command! Board. Buy a flight to Brill.
Once your flight ends, run into the town, away from the wilderness. Run past a large building on your left, and then take a left. You should see the mount vendor. Purchase 7 Skeletal Horses, 4 at level 20 and 3 at level 40.
If you're Goblin or Pandaren, your mount vendor is in Orgrimmar. For Goblins, go to Valley of Spirits, on the other side of the the Honor vendors. Kall Worthaton, or
考爾‧沃瑟頓
, will sell you trikes. One at level 20 and one at level 40. The Pandaren vendor is in the Valley of Honor..
龜大師歐黛
. She will sell you a whopping 12 turtles. TWELVE.
For taurens, go to Mulgore, a zone in Kalimodor. Take a flight path to Blood Hoof village, a starting quest hub. There, purchase your kodos, 3 at level 20 and 3 at level 40.
Your home faction will have the mounts for you, at the right levels. If you are not of the Tauren race, and yet want a kodo mount, you must gain exalted with the taurens. Ergo, expect to become exalted with the Taurens, Blood Elves, Forsaken, Goblins, Pandas, and Orcs. This will grant your first titlem "Ambassador ____________".
How to gain exalted rep? Equip a tabard. Basically, purchase the tabards for each faction except your home one. When you equip a tabard, when you do a dungeon, you gain reputation. So, run dungeons and level till exalted, then switch tabards. The Orc, Goblin, Panda, Troll tabards are found near the Orgimmar Flight Master. The Blood Elf tabard is obtained from the flight master outside Silvermoon. The Tauren and Undead tabards, I forgot about D:
Moving on. When exalted, you will have spent roughly 400 gold ( I think?) between training and mounts, and will have a title. Also, 47 Mounts. 47. Almost done.
Now, unless you have high level tailoring, or BoA mounts from a higher level toon, we're stuck, at 47 unless you battleground.
If you have tailoring 375 or higher, craft a carpet or two.
Battle ground, 100 times. Every minute. Keep those honor points coming in. Once you have 2000, you can purchase a mount, one out of 6. Basically, 53 mounts are available to buy at level 40. Mix and match :D
If level 70:
Run Magister's Terrace, or WOTLK dungeons. Nothing else. This will gain you Shattered Sun Reputation from Magisters Terrace, Justice points from WOTLK dungeons, gold, and random reputation for whatever faction you currently represent.
When exalted with Magister's Terrace, go to the Isle of Quel Danas. For 1000 gold, a rare title, "______ Of the Shattered Sun" is available!
Once exalted with Magister's Terrace, unless you want the mount from the boss (not worth the time invested), then only do WOTLK. Once you have 2300 Justice Points (you can convert Honor Points to JP if you have a surplus of HP and no use for them), go to Mei Francis, Dalaran. Purchase a Mammoth of her. Best use of JP ever.
48 mounts (49 with the drop from Magisters.....)
Now, spend around 2500 gold, or so, and purchase the Armored Brown Bear and the Armored Wind Rider from her. If you don't wanna spend that much gold (like me), then level to 82 and the other two will come easily.
At level 82, go to Vashj'ir. This was not my zone of choice, I preferred Deepholm, hands down. But hey, whatever. Just do the quests there, and keep doing them until you get the quest that rewards a sea-horse mount.
Now, this is only useable in Vashj'ir. But still, damn handy. And cool. And sparkly. Need I say more?
49 mounts! Or 50 with.....
Ok, now at level 80, start running heroic Culling of Stratholme. If your dungeon group kills the Infinite Time Corrupter (second to last boss), within 25 minutes of entering the instance, you will 100% get a bronze drake drop. However, there are five of you.
I lost the drake to other people twice in a row, and got fed up. So, I paid my 90 friend 100 gold for a quick run, and had the mount, 17 minutes later.
Or, just keep trying for the mount, once a day. But after level 85, ( I think) you can no longer queue for it. It is soloable as a 90 though, so waiting is fine too.
If you have any other mounts that are relatively cheap or easy to obtain, don't forgot to comment them!
The other way to peak 53 mounts, up to 55 is through a warlock or paladin, who have access to two unique class only mounts. Death Knights also have two mounts, but the second one is a flying mount that costs 1,000 gold.
EDIT: Added honor mounts.
EDIT: Added class mounts.

This mount can't be used as a land mount in areas where your character is unable to fly (such as Eastern Kingdoms prior to purchasing a Flight Master's License). In such areas, you will simply be unable to mount it.

I could be wrong, but this drake doesn't exactly appear to be
albino.
Rather, this appears to be a
leucistic emerald drake.
"While
albinism
is a genetic mutation that causes complete lack of pigment,
leucism
is only partial loss of pigment in various amounts and is an issue at the pigment cellular level."
This mount is white, but not
completely
white. There is only a
partial
loss of pigment, and that's where any green would be on an emerald drake. Plus, the coloration on the wings, belly, and horns all match the emerald flight. Blue drakes have pinkish colored horns and a gray/white belly, red drakes have the same red/orange horns that the emerald and albino drakes do but their belly color is the same gray/blue as the blue drakes, and the same is true with the black drakes. Black drakes have the same red/orange horns but a bright orange belly. Bronze drakes are generally much closer in color than any other flight to the albino drake, but their bellies are a different color and it doesn't help that the emerald drakes have the exact same eye color as opposed to the bronze drakes which have bright green eyes. Granted, there are also twilight drake NPCs that have the same model as the albino drake, but they look entirely different.
But that's just a theory... a game theory.
