Part of the 2.2 enchanting recipes Blizz is introducing; most of them being the enchants that drop in AQ40 but have gone out of circulation since nobody goes there anymore/players that quit the game/etc, they will be added to rep vendors for the major TBC factions. Slight difference, this enchant is also an update to the old +15 agi to 1H (from Timbermaw rep).

Expected to be available from a Violet Eye vendor, probably at Exalted.

This recipe shows up when I look in Browse>Spells>Professions>Enchanting with a Filter to show Feet enchats only.

I've just been from the 2.2 PTR, and can confirm several things:

The recipe comes from the vendor outside Karazhan, Apprentice Darius.
The recipe requires Exalted Violet Eye and 350 Enchanting.
Enchanted weapons have a green glow, which you can see in the screenshot I submitted.
The old +15 agi enchant still exists, the same way the old +55 heal and +30 spellpower do. In practice these old enchants are only good for twinking on < level 35 weapons, but the choice is there to use them if you like.

i believe that its looks like 20str, like 15str and 15agi seems same.. so it just have more glow..

this enchantments glow sucks it is crappy get mongoose looks cool and gives u plus 120 agi and increase ur attack speed by liek 2-3% and it has a good proc rate

Unlike Mongoose, Greater Agility just says, "enchant a weapon." Moongose says, "enchant a Melee Weapon."

No, Mongoose has a proc that can only occur when you melee. Hunters use melee weapons to leech the stats from them. This enchant is great for a dual-weilding hunter. Mongoose is not as we would rarely melee, and not nearly enough to benefit from Mongoose.

+15 Agility is pretty much the same thing, much less costly mats to get.

"Permanently enchant a weapon"...

Almost all other weapon enchants clearly state "permanently enchant a melee weapon" but this one does not.

Is this ommision accidental, inconsequential, or does it mean that ranged weapons can get this enchantment?

as a rogue that frequently pvp's...ok lets be honest im addicted to PvP, if im not pvp'ing im being talkted into PvE or sleeping...i think the game begins and ends in PvP and this enchant for us isnt worth it....i've checked spreadsheets on this and it drops almost 350 dps from goose/goose, 20agil/goose, its better to have double mongoose then anything else

When it says "Requires a level 35 or higher item" does it mean equip level or item level?
