You should be able to buy and sell WoW tokens directly to and from this mount, as the kind of people who can afford one will find that quite useful.

Waiting to see what this mount has to offer over the Yak. My best guess would be mail &/or bank. We already have portable versions of both but on cd. The AH would be awesome but unlikely.

I expect the price tag to be somewhere in the millions, but that's okay (even if it means I can't get one). Wouldn't want a bunch of these popping up mid-raid.

If this really is going to be 5 million gold, that's around 27.77 WoW tokens at current prices, or $555.56 US. I know this price can fluctuate, but dang ...

If Blizz was really smart, they'd offer this to us NOW, if we sub for an entire year all at once. It would be a great way to get people who are just sitting back and waiting for the expansion to sign back up early.

It would work on me, anyway.

What I'd like to know is are there any bank npcs that I can park next to without getting dismounted? Because I want to use this to clear out my reagent banks on over a dozen toons and I don't want to run back and forth every time.

It has same idiotic rabbit animation as yak or mammoth.
The disconnection between its size and performance gets on your nerves rather fast.
Mind this if you plan to use it for anything other than posing around Ironforge or Orgrimmar.

Like all dinosaurs, the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur’s days are numbered. I can confirm that when Shadowlands goes live, the shady vendors Talutu and Tricky Nick will cease selling it. Their other offerings – the Lost Platysaur pet and the Palehide Direhorn mount, will remain available for purchase.

We will make sure that the unforgettable Brutosaur mount is added to the lists of possible items that are sold in the Black Market Auction Houses. And of course, this new Achievement “Conspicuous Consumption” is a Feat of Strength, so as such things go, it’s not actually very conspicuous.

There is nearly always one of these parked on top of the mailbox in Boralus on Cenarius. Sometimes three. I beg of you Blizzard, put in another mailbox in Boralus, one that dismounts us and I will happily use that. I don't mind having to mount up after I've done my mail and I'm tired of accidentally clicking on the player, the vendors and having to hunt around with my mouse to find where the mailbox gear is.

October 13th 2020.. in a few hours the 巨型商隊雷龍 will be removed from its vendor as the Shadowlands prepatch drops. Not really extinct.. but definitely endangered as its numbers will be defined by players who bought it in BFA and continue to play. For new players who come here trying to find out more...

In BFA it was sold by 狡猾尼克 for Horde and 泰魯圖 for Alliance.. for the measly price of 5 million gold. Yes, it was a lot for us.

No longer sold by the vendor after todays reset.. you can still get it.. on the Black Market Auction House. We all expect it to go for gold cap.. lets see what happens.

Introduced in BFA, perhaps a way for Blizz to pull back all the free gold which people made with Legion table missions.. it divided the community in a way rarely seen. Specially when it was announced that the mount will be removed when BFA ends. Buying the mount became a feat of strength.. 驚人食量

Some had the gold. Some didn't care. Some made the effort to make it. Some said they would've definitely made it given more time. Some even paid irl money (almost 700 USD) to buy tokens thinking they'll make the gold when they get the mount.

As someone who farmed the gold & bought it, I can definitely say it never really helped me make gold. Players who make 5 million have multiple bank alts standing on the AH. Its best utility was for last minute consumable shopping before entering a dungeon, rarely more.

Unlikely the mount model will become commonplace because of it's size.. but I truly hope blizz comes up with a portable AH for everyone. Maybe a toy on a one hour cooldown. If it does happen.. let it be a lesson to not freak out over little things.

If it doesn't... feel free to ask me to mount up when you see me.

This mount is since 9.0.1 only buyable through the Black Market and not at it's vendor! So if you want this, check every now and then the Black Market!

This must be removed the game, or at least change the current status quo (of its exclusivity). You can't give gigantic advantages of that sort to players from old expansions; it violates any value of expansion resets; what's next: having ICC gear sitting in your bank from 10 years ago be still BiS?

Adding another comment that blizz alienated part of their base by removing this. They know they screwed up by putting an AH mount in game. They also know they screwed up by tricking people into buying tokens with real money so they could get this mount before it was removed.

Still a bad show blizzard. 15 year player this 19th anniversary. Yes I am pissed you took this away.

Heard today during a Radiant Echoes event, this mount WILL return to WoW in November's Trading Post. I always keep track of Trading Post rewards, but this SERIOUSLY intrigues me. I hope this shows up, because seeing one gives me a case of the sad puppy face that I never got this!

If you have both Brutosaur mounts (Trader's Gilded Brutosaur from the 20th Anniversary, and the “old” one), here a little macro that you can use with an OPie button (or action bar button):

It summons your Mighty Caravan Brutosaur if your mouse cursor is over a mailbox, otherwise it summons the Gilded one.

Of course, change the icon and label to whatever you like.

The 0.5s C_Timer.After is needed because OPie takes over the tooltip when you press the ring's hotkey. If you run this as Blizz (or M6) macro from an action bar button, it should work without the C_Timer.After wrapper.
