Received loa off worldboss in Zul'Aman. Took out the turnip toy, wouldnt trigger on BM but survival punches triggered the achievement.

As a Mage, I dropped the Turnip Toy, equipped a cheap 1-handed sword, and auto-attacked the turnip. It took maybe 90 seconds, and the achievement popped :)- Done!

BM hunter: I was unable to trigger this with ranged attacks through every world quest in the zone. I pulled out my turnip bag, unequipped my ranged weapon, and got it from unarmed white swings within a minute.

It seems like you can't get this with anything but melee attacks.

As a Ret Paladin, I seemed unable to get this to proc while Crusader Strikes was talented. As soon as I took off that talent, it procc'd within a few melee hits. I assume this would also be true for Havoc DH Demon Blades or Prot Warrior Devastator...
