This is basically lay hands on for priests.
As non tanks are typically at 80% life or higher using it on a tank that is 10-20% life or is gonna die ends up nearly full healing him and restoring some of the casters own life to nearly half as long as he used it when the tank was about to die.

It does not have a mana cost so can be used in a chain with other abilities to conserve mana or just used as a last resort..

Might also be decent in pvp to instantly full heal someone thats getting focused on. Imagine someone getting beat on and stunned to death by 3 people.. the healer can barely keep him up. They are trying to burst through his heals by teaming up on the one guy. Bam hes full life since they were ignoring everyone else and you just may have saved the match due to the extra seconds it takes them to take away all his life again.

In raiding situations this must be used with caution when trying to save tanks on some fights. While non tanks are typically on high health, there are sometimes random unavoidable spells or raid damage going around, and these could quite easily one shot a priest who had just used this to save a tank, even if they were previously on full health. For example, on Yor'Sajh this could be fatal if the priest was targetted by searing blood a second or two later. While still better than the tank dying, it's preferable to use a safer emergency cooldown such as LoH if possible.

One subtle but notable point about this ability is that despite being used as a heal it is in the shadow school, which means that priests who have been locked out of the holy spell school by an interrupt can still use this.

The only use of this ability I've seen is it being abused by low health shadow priests in BGs on unsuspecting people that might need the health as much as them.

I cast this on a tank with several stacks of Mortal Rend, and it took him to full health (it healed for over 500k according to the logs). I assume this works on other similar healing debuffs.

Edit: Confirmed to also work on multiple stacks of Serious Wound, from Durumu the Forgotten.

虛空移形 is a really good spell both for PvE and PvP.
In raiding situations when a tank is on low health I suggest doing the following:

Make sure you're at or almost at 100% health.
Cast 虛空移形.
Instanstly cast 絕望禱言 and use a Healthstone if available.
Shield yourself and cast a strong heal on yourself, like 懺悟 or 治療術.

This will make you focus on your own health and maybe you won't have much time to heal others during this. If the raid is taking much damage, simply cast the talent you've chosen in your 6th talent tier: 傾瀉, 輝環 or 神性之星.

Note that 絕望禱言 is a choice from the talent tree, so you won't find it in your Spellbook until you've chosen it.

Note that in The War Within this talent does not require the 'ally' to be in your party. I encourage you to use this to save random players in the open world! Of course, you could also choose to 'borrow' their HP when you need it more, but really, who would do such a thing?

Great loss since in midnight in has been removed from shadow spec.
Now soloshuffle games will no longer that fun and games w/o healers might be very hurting since everybody now will hard focus priest again.
