Very good drop rate of the claws from the Diseased Black Bears. I didn't keep count but most of them dropped the claws. Every Venom Mist Lurker I killed had the spider eyes. I only found one vulture and it had an eye on it. So those mobs are your best bets for getting the drops for this quest. You'll find them more south of the road rather then north. North of the road are undead mobs in packs so you might wanna stear clear unless you can take them.

Also if you have skinning, the bears normally skin for rugged leather so it's a good place to stock up.

12 spiders, 36 bears and 27 vultures... yea, i agree that the drop rate is really bad :S

It took me 42 minutes 15 seconds =)

I don't know the exact drop rates, but it started out slow (5%-ish drop rate for teh first 8 things i got) and sped up towards the end (80%-ish drop rate for teh last 8 things).

Bear Claws dropped more than the spider eyes for me (at 2:1 ratio)

This is one of the quest that was obviously tailored for horde shamans and to be honest its a pain in the rear to do for alliance shammans. Horrible drop rate, very close to horde territory which leads to alot of horde killing you on the way thru the bullwark. This quest should have been remade once the alliance got shamans also. My advice is, unless youre 100% you will be going to sunken temple this is a quest you should skip.

Drop rate wasn't all that bad. The quest took about 30 minutes to complete and most of the mobs that drop the eyes and claws are East of the Bulwark.

This quest can be a pain for resto shamans. Bc if you are like my shaman and wearing cloth gear for the spell power and intellect, the mobs can hit pretty hard. And the drop rate for both items is fairly low. It took 31 bears, 26 spiders, and 12 vultures to get all the items. I think Blizzard needs to raise the drop rate or something, bc this had one of the lowest drop rates for quest items i have seen in all Azeroth, Outlands, and Northrend.

If you're trying to lvl as a Resto shammy and doing quests as a resto shammy....you need to be slapped....severely.... *shakes head*

Not unless you ENJOY lvling 10x slower then everyone else
