This quest was easy (lvl 33 Tauren Hunter) but took me like 50 kills to get at least one amulet! Then they dropped like rain from the sky... Quick and easy...

Drop rate isn't great, but just killing the syndicate guys around the homestead in northwest arathi is enough for this one.

I'm not sure, but I think, that u only get amulets from Sundicate Mercenaries and Syndicate Pathstalkers with drop rate around 75% for Pathstalkers and 50% for Mercanaries

The barn at the south side of the field seems to have better drop rates, for me at least.

This quest has worst droprate ever, i managed to kill 20 in a row without a single drop...i got pretty bored...I suggest GM's do something about it

I killed my first 2 kills and they dropped the quest item...then i killed in about 10-15 mobs and no drops..pff the drop rates arent good

The drop rates aren't great (~15%), but the area is pretty easy. I did this with a friend and we ran a circuit around about 4 times to get all the amulets we both needed. By the time we finished 1 round the mobs had respawned for the next. :)

i would probably say that "Syndicate highwayman" drop rating is 80% to 90% drop. But if you fight again it wont drop cause you already have the amulet.

I stood in the middle of the field with the cows and pulled into field. I got more drops off the Mercenaries than the Pathstalkers. You won't aggro the Highwayman from this field. Loc of field is 32.29

Singer, by the way is glitched. For the moment, anyway. She'll take a little damage but afterwards just evades. Just stay away until Blizzard sees the problem.

Two things of note: This is not the same quest as the quest with the same name you can pick up only after level 35. That is, this one does not reward a helm. idk if this is a prerequisite but just worth noting they're not the same.

And second, I found that as a level 33 troll rogue, it was vastly easier to approach the farm from Hillsbrad than from Hammerfall. I just left out of Tauren Mill and headed directly west behind Durnhole and went through the hole in Thoradin's Wall. You practically run right into the farm and don't have to fight your way across Arathi.
