So I was out fishing the fish of the day (emperor salmon) for my guild, when I looted the item that begins this quest. I turned it in to Card Trader Ami at Brawl'gar Arena. I purchased the card and then talked to a guard. There was an additional option to queue for Razorgrin. When it was my turn to fight, I just about died laughing. They literally teleported a shark into the arena! The only thing it does is flop around. It even casts an ability called flop. It was rather easy for a hunter, and I imagine any ranged would also not have a problem. It did continuously kill my pet. As the quest text implied, if you let it touch you, it will kill you rather quickly. However, because it can only flop around, I was easily able to rez my pet and keep fighting. This probably will not be very fun as melee. As for the reward, the shirt isn't ugly, but it isn't exactly pretty either. The best part about the shirt is that it gives you a buff like Precious' Ribbon. The buff says "Brawling Champion 'Conqueror of the South Seas'". The Humongous Sack of Coins contained 500 gold, so all in all, I'd say this quest is definitely worth it!

definitely not fun as a melee (rogue). close near to impossible.

Killed it as a rogue today! It was very tight on the enrage timer, but if you have decent gear you should be fine (mine was 518). Just spec into shuriken toss and deadly throw and keep running around him in circles. Using 2 pots and stacking cooldowns with trinket procs should be just enough to finish it before the enrage. Good luck! :)

You cannot cc him and a single hit will kill you. Deff a range friendly fight.
Killed as a 496 il Spriest.
I recommend using Glyph of Mind Flay, he has no chance of catching up to you with the speed boost from flaying.

Killed as an enhance shaman today with relative ease.

Just pop all your cd's but do not get in range, let your fire ele and wolves attack him and just stormstrike / flame-earth shock / 5 LB him till Ascendance runs out, then simply LB spam till he's dead.

It really is just a case of out ranging him sadly .. ( good tip for range indicator = Don't get close enough to be able to use Lava Lash )

For Paladins to increase your ranged dps:
Use Glyph of Harsh Words
Talents: Holy Prism & Sanctified Wrath

Managed to do him fully buffed with an item level of 511

I'm quite sure you're only able to get this quest item from fishing in the pools that Ben of the Booming Voice at Halfhill in the Valley of the Four Winds can mark on your map if you ask him to.

I fished about 50 stacks of Tiger gourami, Emperor Salmon, Jewel Danio and Redbelly Mandarin but didnt get the quest item. After I switched to the Beer frenzied Emperor salmon pools i got it from the 5th pool, also many of my guildies also got it from those really fast.

Very simple to zerg as a Warrior. You can ignore his "one-shot-mechanic" by two ways:

Use the Glyph for Die by the Sword and extend the timer with Wild Strike
Use 兵馬俑碎片 to absord some hits

As of June 11th, 2013, this fight has been fixed, and his tail is safe from melee attacks. Thank you Shady27 for the mention -- upvoted for that.

The shirt gives the buff Brawling Champion with a 'Conqueror of the South Seas' buff description, similar to the affects of Precious' Ribbon.

This half-dead shark need to kite and avoid face to face situation, but i killed it with full kite by Rogue for fun. Pretty easy.

This mob is a shark that flops about on the floor. If you get too close to his front end he has a really nasty bite which will kill you pretty sharpish.

Ridiculously easy as a hunter. Send in your pet and your pet will automatically stay behind him (or try to). This results in Razorgrin turning in slow circles on the floor while you (and your pet) nuke him down. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be this easy? I can imagine it being tough if you had to be in melee range yourself.

The only possibly tricky thing for a ranged pet class is to beat his enrage timer, perhaps? I'm BM hunter ilvl 500 and I had just less than 30 seconds spare, and that was from going all-out dps and not moving. This could be difficult for lower ilvls or classes without much ranged DPS.

My pet and I both finished on 100% HP - as I said, now it's safe to stand behind him, he couldn't hit my pet at all.

Cake for any ret paladins: Sanctified Wrath > Razorgrin. Nothing special, didn't even buy potions. When the shark spawns hit all your CDs rotate HoW with Judgement/exorcism inbetween. By the time Avenging Wrath faded Razorgrin was at 17% and I was able to keep using HoW regularly to get the last bit down. Avg dps for fight: 122,063. I didn't even bother trying to stun or whatever the intent of the fight for melee actually is.

This fight is fairly straightforward as a melee player, as you really only need to stay behind the floppy shark in the middle of the arena.

Anyone who has done even the most basic of PVP will be familiar with the circle round and activating your abilities. As a Windwalker monk I ran in a clockwise (or counterclockwise) circle for a minute or so staying on the sharks tail and he so much as never touched me.

I did about 88k DPS for the fight and handily beat the enrage timer (had about 40 seconds or so to go when I won).

TL;DR: Circle behind shark on floor entire time, DPS, win.

Cant do this quest as a Disc Priest.

Razorgrin has a 2 minute enrage timer after which time Bizmo will fill the room with fire and kill you.

Hit him very hard... and very fast. MOAR DOTS.

This card dropped for me out of Draenor daily fishing reward. Im newbish to the Brawler's Guild, so Im wondering if Im a rank 1 and beat this guy, will I move up in rank since Razorgrin is ranked 5?

At level 100, this guy is a tough dps race. As a balance druid with ilvl of 626, even while I had him attacking my treants the whole time, I was not able to bring him down below 35% before being being killed by the enrage timer. This may have to wait till you get raiding gear.

評論來自 aimbizzle

iLVL 626 Hunter - Razorgrin hits me for 200k - 300k. Sending the pet in makes it run around in circles while you just go full dps on it. 1st attempt, I hit the enrage timer. Died when Razorgrin had 86k health left.

For the 2nd attempt, I popped a Brawler's Bottomless Draenic Agility Potion as soon as Kill Shot became available at 35%. I could see the flames coming up from under the arena so I knew the enrage was going to happen soon, but he went down.

630 Rogue... not doable yet.
I can get him to around 350k on a good try before enrage death.

Super easy. Popped all my CDs and he died before my ring's AoE detonated, lol
