pjanc: Not entirely true. They are more than happy to fire at you while you are on a flying mount, even if you are running on the ground at the time. They do not seem to shoot at you if you are on a ground-only mount though, and like you said, the flak is dodge-able. They will lead you and fire intelligently, so if you fly in a straight line you're going down, but if you zig and zag you're usually pretty safe, and if you see it coming you can zip out of the path of danger.

Safety note: when the flak explodes it leaves fire, which can even be floating in midair. If you then fly through this patch of fire you will be afflicted with a fire damage dot, and be dismounted. With all the demons and elementals around, it can be rather . . inconvenient.

Coords 29,81. That is at Forge Camp Terror. The forge got SMALL green bubbles flowing from it.

Look for the bubbles not the smoke. It will be on a uprising of land surrounded by flak cannons.

I cant get this quest. Is there some quest i must complete first?

A futher note... these fel flak cannons will deshift you out of flight form as well... I didn't even think that was possible, until I hit the ground rather hard and made a tauren sized crater ;)

at 27,80, i need to kill one mob to get into the device.

Collect 10 Apexis shards from the Bash'ir guys at Bash'ir Landing in Blade's Edge (51,14). Once you get those, fly down to Forge Camp Terror and turn them in to the Fel Crystalforge (29,81).

What do you need to do to get this quest? or all the Ogri'la quests predicated on getting those two group ones done? None of the Ogri'la will give me a quest

評論來自 153422

To be more exact the Fel Crystalforge for this quest is at 32.8 40.5

This demonstrates the importance of not having addon's with different reference points for coordinates.

Bring 10 Apexis Shards to the Fel Crystalforge located at 32,40. There you can get the Unstable Flask of the Beast.

= this is the right guide for this quest Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger. the comment should not be hidden.its accurate and i was standing on it. confirm 32,40.

Wrong coords... actual coords are 33, 41. This comedian thought it would be funny to give the coords of a demon summoner, which is what is at 32, 40.

= this guide coords is a legion flask cannon.33,41 is a demon mob with an elite cannon.

meulah = troll priest
<clique> thaurissan.

I can also confirm that the correct location is infact (32,40).

Counts for "On the Blade's Edge"

WARNING! - DO NOT use a Depleted Crystal Focus after collecting your 10 Apexis Shards.

For those of you who dont have a coordinates add on the exact location in further detal is in Forge Camp Terror. Its hard to see the bubble from the sky, but, its on a huge platform surronded by the guns and what not and is near the other large green "machine." You need to kill the mobs and just click to get the machine working, I will post a screen shot as well.

評論來自 882099

for this quest you need only ten apexis shards, as the depleted crystal ask to use no more and at forge camp avoid flying transportation the flaks don't stop hiting you even when you are out of limits, the cannon balls will find you anyway. fly low when leave from there because there is an elite dragonking not far from the flak cannons limit.

Hello everyone,

#1 - Go to Forge Camp: Terror
#2 - Farm 10 apexis shards
#3 - In middle of camp, theres a machine that looks like a steam engine, besides it theres a small pot looking thing with green bubbles coming out of it, click on it and get your beast blood.

Enjoy!

You now need 35 Apexis Shards to complete this quest...

I find it completely awesome that Torkus uses the pronoun 'we'.

The easiest way to get the 10 Apexis Shards you need for this quest is to farm them straight from the Apexis Shard Formations that crop up on the crystal forms around The Vortex Summit. Or indeed just loot them from Apexis Flayer and Aether Ray kills. Takes only 5 mins to farm 10 shards!

If you happen to be farming up your Nether Ray mount like I am (this is a great guide) then using the guy in the big circle to fly you to the Skyguard. Just a 30 second flight back south will get you to Ogri'la!
