As of 6.0.2 these are officially tameable! Their special ability is Grace, which increases the group's versatility by 3%. Talbuk and gazelles are also included alongside the normal stags, so hunters (like me) who have been wanting Felrot Coursers or Talbuk Stags can finally tame them!

It took them 10 years, but finally hunters can have a stag as a pet.

Just found out tonight, 燃焰短笛 caused my Stag to start doing the Druid elk travel form dance. Another awesome reason to get this hunter pet!

I just came back to playing WoW this past Tuesday to find out that you can tame Stags and Hydras are tamable again! "Oh Happy Days!" Always wanted to tame Stags and always wondered why we couldn't!

Yes, I sometimes cackle madly like I belong in a straitjacket while playing WoW. Lets face it, scaring muggles is fun!

When you tame the grey stags from Dreadwastes, they turn brown like the gazelle mount earlier in the game. I'm not sure if they change back to grey when you go back to Dreadwaste.

on petopia, it said that in shadowlands, Dreamrunners and Zhevras are no longer going to be stags, they will be Coursers instead.
