Reference to Biggs Darklighter, a character in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Biggs was one of Luke Skywalker's wingmen during the Battle of Yavin (first Death Star) and was killed by Darth Vader later in the battle. Xiggs is even shown wearing clothes similar to the outfit of a Red Squadron pilot.

Where do you find him? I can't see him and I am at the spot where he is supposed to be, and I can't find him, and what 'Standard Issue Flare Gun'? I never got it or even heard of it.

I completed the quest and got to the platform only to discover that the flare gun was in my bank....luckily i am a mage who can teleport! LOL Needless to say it was a waste of time so a bit of advice: Before you start questing make sure you have ALL quest items in your bags otherwise it's going to take you alot longer to get the quests done! :)

The item wasn't in my inventory when I went to complete the final step of the quest. I did the rune drawing part earlier today, a few hours ago. I can honestly say I don't recall the gun being in my inventory at any point whatsoever. I'm always walking around with a mostly full inventory so I'm pretty certain I didn't toss it.

This makes me so angry. It's such a pain in the ass to get to that little spot. Not to mention the time it took. What a waste.

Tymon never gave me the flare. Which i found out when i got to the platform, of course.
I have tried to abandon and accept again, and when I accept i only get the drawing kit.
He does however say something like "Hey! Wait! there is something more!" when
I accept, but I cannot talk to him, and nothing more happens....
GG blizz, I wasted lots of my time trying to make this happen.....
