Another thing worth noting is how this mount stacks with others. Apply this "mount", then mount the Azure Water Strider. It will make you walk on water AND stay mounted upon performing actions, such as fishing in the middle of a lake, without need of water walking potions or class specific abilities. This added perk ( or quirk ) has turned Nagrand into my favorite fishing spot!

One drawback to this mount if you have a pet or a body guard. If you are trying to run through an area infested with mobs and you get hit, if you keep running, you're pet and bodyguard will likely stop and fight the mob(s). If you're not paying attention, not only can your pet die, but if youre bodyguard dies as well you're looking at a 1 hour cool down and a trip back to your garrison to get your bodyguard back.

My advice to you is, if you're going to run through an area where you're going to get hit, ride a different mount. Reserve this one strictly for when you WANT to fight.

If you're a mage (or probably most caster specs) this mount is your huckleberry. Kiting at mount speed is almost unfair ;-)

Demonology Warlock beware when choosing this option as Metamorphosis will still dismount you. So if you thought to get this to save having to remount all the time, you will certainly remount less but it will not be gone.

For rogues:

1) Yes, you can ride this while stealthed.
2) If you are unmounted and stealthed, summoning this mount breaks stealth.

As of 6.1 February 24, 2015 this does not appear to work anymore with 蒼藍水黽 in Nagrand. This means it won't walk on water anymore.

If you want to add this to a macro you'll need to use /cast Garrison Ability
