this guy just tried to punk me while I was grinding on the ogres, was at about 15% and was on my last mob before rest and he waltzed right up and started smacking me.. I burned all my cooldowns and a healing pot but I managed to live.. barely :D.. he dropped the rare mace, I was at 39, 74

btw, lvl 50 orc rogue.

must be the easiest way to get a rare, just to kill him and the mace has a drop rate of 22%

Killed him 20 minutes ago on Ravenholdt server US at 41, 51. Had been searching for him for about 3 hours, found him when grinding orges in the area.

He came from nowhere when I was killing another ogres, got him down as lvl45 deep frostie. Dropped a mace as well. +7.22% spell hit rating ftw ^^

I ran into this big boy at 46.53.. he dropped "Gothic plate armor of strenght" wich is not listed in the drop list. It was a greenie though

Enrage was bugged in 3.3.5 he did enrage once he hitted me he did 1M dmg.

This mob..brings memories...long long time ago, when everything was new and you found out in this game by trial and error. I had to go kill him on my trial hunter(yes its not hard)

Back then he used to drop an item called http://www.wowhead.com/item=17055#dropped-by with about ~20% drop rate. I was saving up for one of the faction mounts which used to cost alot.

You see,my server population was very low, so AH was very rarely used. Plus many folks just didnt understand the value of items so they would undercut so bad or try to trade their junk items for one of yours(yes at the beginning of WoW item trades were more common then gold for items, unless now everything is traded for gold)...but a low server population meant more resources like rare spawns/mining nodes...which i did not really understand back then, i just played the game

When i had about enough of farming blackrock orcs in Burning steppes(i hate that place with a passion) i would go over to tanaris and look for this particular mob since his hammer would cost 3G.
Of course you never had a luxury of parking one "alt" at his spawn place and farming on other toon. It was like a thing before i would go to school, the schedule...dont forget to check on Omgorn!

I still kinda wish i would get a refund for all the time i wasted on pixels...while my friends were having fun playing airsoft and football while i was a nerd behind a pc screen ...but fun times, fun times being a middle school kid, no responsibility, i used play 4-7 hours a day lol. Never got fat as well, stayed skinny as dope

Omgorn seems to be one of those rares that takes some hours to respawn.

Respawn timer is in the 3-4 hour range.
First kill from me took 3h 17 min to respawn, 4 hours for the second.
