It's highly unlikely that Fleshrender and Threadstrong are the same, because Threadstrong simply doesn't look old enough.

Greatmother Geyah and Drek'Thar were already adults at the time Cro Fleshrender is, and they are both elderly now. Eitrigg was a veteran of the First and Second wars; he's in his late 50's now and High Overlord Varok Saurfang's circumstances is about the same.

By contrast, Nazgrel is now in his prime, but in WoD is a child. Garrosh was also a child at this time in the prime timeline, and Thrall was born only a few years later. Cro Fleshrender is clearly an experienced warrior, while Cro Threadstrong is in his prime. The physical difference is just too great for them to be the same.

This is not Cro Threadstrong.
This orc is a different color. Not tainted by the Blood of Mannoroth.
He appears to be from the Blackrock Clan, The Laughing Skull Clan, or The Shadowmoon Clan depending on the color of his skin.
Cro Threadstrong is purely an untainted brown-skinned orc.
If Blizzard wasn't derping and went according to lore, then this is not Cro Threadstrong, but someone with the same first name.

On the subject of his identity, he might be of the Bonechewer clan.
Both his use of bones and his surname Fleshrender, which is somewhat similar to the names of chieftains Spinebreaker and Skullsplitter, seem to indicate this along with his location. He is found near Gul'rok in Talador, which matches up with both the proximity to Tagar Spinebreaker, former would-be chieftain of the Bonechewers turned Shadow Council henchman, as well as Gul'rok seeming to be a former Bonechewer town.
