You can find his forgotten pool *under* the Moonshrine Sanctum.
You need to jump into the water and swim below ruins just below entrance to Moonshrine.

Tamed. Very happy with this guy since he's got the unique coloring all the way to his legs. Barnacle Jim was my prev favorite. Also there seems to be another link for him?

If you click on the Guardian Eggs in the water, you get a swim speed buff.

If not there then it means you forgot to kill 瑟拉克 first. He has 深淵守護者 trapped. Killing Thruk allows The Guardian to escape to The Forgotten Pool.

Hunters might request permission to tame this incredible looking pet.

You can prevent 深淵守護者 from using 吞噬 by killing the 4 藍頁岩蟹s in the cave with it.
