In Heroic, you can talk to him to initiate an unmarked quest.

He will ask you to help him find his sword and then wipe out the Ogres. Follow him as he gets his sword and fights through the insta with you, while constantly spamming Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes such as "I'm your worst nightmare!".

After defeating the final boss, you get him as a lvl 100 Epic follower (柯男), alongside with the achievement 想活命就跟我走.

One thing to note no one else has brought up yet. To get Croman as a follower you need to do the first two bosses in a certain order. First you need to kill Slave Watcher Crushto, then free Croman from pushing the wheel. Then you need to kill Forgemaster Gog'duh, upon which Croman will retrieve a sword from the forge behind the boss. Then you can finish the place as normal. My group tried beating Gog'duh, then Crushto, then freeing Croman but he wouldn't come with us.

To me he says: "Pah, weak. Come back when you're stronger".

Don't know why, but I can't pick him up (and also couldn't during the WoD).

Missed opportunity by using a generic Human sound set. I was very disappointed when I found there was no Austrian accent
