Ironspine, and the other rare elites associated with SM Graveyard are tricky to get to spawn. While they CAN be there for the initial spawn, it seems very unlikely that they will be.

The three rare elites are:

You can easily run through the instance to the graveyard to see if they are there and if not, reset. However, there is another way to cause them to respawn. There are several spawn points in the graveyard where the elites can spawn, basically anywhere you see a SINGLE undead rather than a group, an elite has a chance to spawn there.

To get them to spawn, simply kill every isolated undead mob, you can leave the groups of wanderers. These mobs will respawn every 10-15 minutes, and it appears that every respawn has about a 5% chance of being one of the rare elites.

From what I can tell, after either Ironspine or the Fallen Champion spawn, no more rare elites will spawn. That means you'll have to reset after either of them spawn.

I have the best metod to have the rare spawn.

When you enter Gravyard its normaly clear sky, but when a rare spawns it will be misty.
now to save your walking time enter the instance and when the load screen is gone the screen will be slightly misty and it fades away in normal.

So its more easier.

It appears that these rare mobs do not spawn from killed mobs spawn points anymore. I waited about 30 minutes and had no luck of anything respawning.

Just putting out for "aspiring" warlocks that a level 33 affliction lock can get to and solo the Fallen Champion to get his shroud solo. Same goes for Azshirr the Sleepless and all his drops.

Just make sure that when you enter the instance and clear the first couple non-elite mobs, summon an eye of Kilrogg to make sure you got one up. If not, go out, reset, and try again until you get one of the rares to spawn (Ironspine not so important though, for locks). Once you have one found, just get by Vishas and the trash. Although Vishas a bit of a pain, it's possible with chain fearing, dots, and drain life thing locks do ;-P After that, just clear your way to the rare guy and kill em'

Great items to get at the level ^_^ Might also be possible a level or two earlier, but didn't start trying then.

I've killed fallen champion 8 times now and ebon vice dropped 4 times and morbid has dropped 4 times.

I was boosted through the Graveyard; my level 77 friend cleared it, after less than 10 mins Fallen Champion spawned, after secong clearing (5-10 mins again) Azshir spawned; we left after that. No resets, mind you. Maybe it was sheer luck, maybe it was because we went to the Graveyard at midnight server time.

He wears the same armor and wields the same weapon as the Scarlet Champions. It looks like Undeath severely weakened him however. He lost about 5 levels, if not more.

I did SM graveyard with a group of people, when we had killed the last boss the others
teleported out.
I looked around a little more and notice him. Since the others left the group i tried to kill him alone. And i managed to kill him with my lvl 28 shaman (healer).

This is a macro I use after every mob i kill in SM GY, It has gotten me some rare bosses before so i know that it works. I don't think it is written very well at all but it is functional. Have fun guys.

That macro works fine. Having sought the Fallen Champion for some days it is clear that all of these rares are still available and the loot tables remain the same. I was attempting to solo these with a low-level character (29 twink MM hunter) and it is possible to clear out the remaining mobs after a random dungeon run when other players leave.

The rares appear at the spawn points mentioned above, eventually, but I never had the patience to wait around after getting one. It may be that only one will ever appear as the corpse stays around for a long time. Also the patrolling mobs eventually (like within an hour) return almost all at once which makes clearing out again problematic if not impossible. The statue is a good location to use the macro as it has the appropriate range to all spawn locations. If you just use the macro at the entrance to the graveyard itself it is possible to miss the rares altogether. Good luck.

This rare is still spawning in the graveyard area, but there usually not in the same spot. I would use a macro to locate him and the other rares.

I was having trouble getting this guy to spawn, around 30 resets and nothing.
I noticed the mobs de-agroed like dungeons of old so decided to wait to see if they would also re-spawn like the old days, and indeed they do, the 8 spots only where bosses can re-spawn every 15 ish mins.
I got this guy to spawn on my very first test.

I used this macro, but make sure you don't just do it at the instance entrance - you need to run in to the main room before the graveyard itself as some of the rare spawn spots can be out of range of the entrance:

Important that you activate the OLD Scarlet Monestary. Click the bright 舊鑰匙圈 at entrance to the area where the portals are to activate it.
You know you have the right version of Scarlet Monestary when you have the buff "The Scarlet Key" and when you enter, you don't go directly to Graveyard but have to run through some corridors first.

One of the 3 rares spawned for me after a few resets. Would say its 1 / 5 instance.
Use the mentioned macro and you can use it right inside the instance if view distance is set to 10.

/target Azshir the Sleepless
/target Fallen Champion
/target Ironspine
/script ResetInstances();

(add the resetinstance part, so you can use same macro to reset instance when outside)

The instance cap is 10 / hour / server.
So if you have characters on different servers, get them to Scarlet Monastary (Use 血色主教之道 if you have it unlocked), click Old Keyring and run in/out reset until you hit the cap.
Then change to another server.
