This is one of the last bosses in the Deadmines instance.
He is located on the backside, or North Side of the ship. he wanders from the Northside along the edge to the West side of the ship.

Generally he is killed last after you defeat Van Cleef. you can merely jump off the north side of the deck and land pretty much on top of him.

This is an avoidable boss too, most people skip him because he usally drops the ace; however if a caster needs the wand it is very much worth it, because he is a very easy encounter.

this is an extremely easy encounter. i recommend that the low level people running this instance kill him, esp so the casters can get his wand.

Also, you're forgetting here, he's the only one who drops Cat Carrier (Siamese), even though you can buy it in Netherstorm now. Very nice non-combat pet.

Ive killed this guy like 5000 times and he still hasnt dropped that stupid wand....its always that dang rolling pin.

An additional hireling of Van Cleef, Cookie is of course the Cook of the boat. He is optional to battle, seeing as he resides on the far north of the boat, bottom deck. He battles with his Meat Tenderizer, which he drops sometimes as well as his Stirring Rod.

Cookie is also the name of the cook from the animated movie Atlantis.

Whether or not this is the reference, it would make some sense seeing as murlocs live underwater as well as above it.

Cookie is a level 20 elite murloc in the Deadmines.

Cookie is the cook in the service of Captain Greenskin and Edwin VanCleef. He is a murloc, and the only optional boss in the Deadmines. Beware, if Cookie is left with little health, he will run away and may bring potential additional enemies. How he became a cook in VanCleef and Greenskin's service is unknown.

His poison attack is not much of a threat, and is an easy foe. If you have a warlock, Curse of Recklessness can be a good idea, as his attacks are quite harmless even with the AP boost, but running and pulling 5 Defias Pirates can be a quick wipe. Slowing him is also a good idea.

Latest beta build Deadmines achievement (heroic mode) requires you to kill one "Captain" Cookie (quotes included), I assume that either he has taken over the ship through murloc betwitchery, or perhaps simply because he thinks of himself as captain, and thus is a joke.

Still plenty of time for the achievement to change either way.

The good food he tosses at you has a glowing halo ring around it and stacks up to 99. Giving you a total of +2970% boost to your melee, ranged, and spell casting speed. I tried this on my pally and got his melee speed all the way down to 0.06
