The Pet Battle Trainer is no longer in Goldshire, she is in Stormwind, near the lake, northwest of the Stormwind Keep, through the Dwarven District, exit near the fountain/bank/auction house, take the path to the right, up the hill (not down to the other lake) and she (Audrey Burnhep) is standing near the huge tree with the crates. There is also another female Pet Battle Trainer in Kalimdor at Dolanaar, she is standing at the tree to the right of the main building that has vendors/trainers/inn keeper, sorry, but I don't remember her name.

it only has gilnean raven, and it won't let u get it till u get battle pet training, which idk where to get

He wasn't giving my character 基礎訓練 and nor was 奧德蕾‧燃憂. Figured it was because I don't have MoP active on my account yet. Flew to Kharanos and 格雷迪‧班森 had the quest for me, and was able to do the chain through him and the Kharanos area.

Hope that helps any of you that she isn't giving the quest chain to.

I received the quest Learning the Ropes and I don't have MoP, it was just bugged for awhile.

For anyone curious, he will only give 1 pet, which depends on your race. Four of them existed prior to 5.0.

Humans - Orange Tabby Cat
Gnomes/Dwarves - Snowshoe Rabbit
Night Elves - Great Horned Owl
Draenei - Blue Moth
Worgen - Gilnean Raven (Only Available Through Pet Trainer)
Pandaren (Alliance) - Jade Crane Chick (Only Available Through Pet Trainer)

There was a bug for a while preventing Pandaren from claiming a Jade Crane Chick on the Alliance side, but to my knowledge, it's been fixed.

Probably not, considering that James' decapitation is necessary to complete 懸賞：詹姆士‧克拉克.
It's nice to speculate, though.

For some reason this guy pops up in quest completion when I beat Eric Davidson in daily battle, saying "splendiferous".
