It took me about 7 kills to get the pincers. Also, I had two quests, http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2581 and http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=2583.

My first Pincer I got gave me credit on both quests. So for my first drop, it counted as one for each of the above, I only needed 2 to count as 3 for the above quests. Cheers and good luck.

Mob range is 46-49. Drop rate for Scorpok Pincer is really bad, I killed 9 for 2 Pincers.

as of patch 2.4.1 the level now ranges from 50-51 again

They're a good place to farm Scorpid Scales Because of the high concentration of them and they're not an overly high level. That and they have around 35-40% drop chance to drop 1 or 2 scales.
