Super pushover. I was level 42 (Druid) when taking this guy on. He was yellow(elite) to me and was super easy to take down. If you're a Druid, go into cat form and get as many combo points on him. After he's taken about 50% of your life, use Rake to get the bleeding DoT flowing. Shift out of cat form, cast Rejuvination and then Regrowth. Once the HoT's are on you, cast Entagling Roots and run away. Shift into Bear form and let the HoT's finish ticking (Lord Azrethoc should be unrooted by now). Enrage and then Feral Charge. You should have enough AP, damage and armor to take him down.

40 Elite Mob = Cool looking with an impressive title, other than that is he nothing. Was farming the area & killed him several times & only got some copper & grey weapons.

He isn't worth anyones time.

Ran into him while trying to reach a mineral vein. Fun, moderately challenging fight as a level 37 Prot spec Paladin. He uses Mortal Strike, too, which makes it challenging and interesting for a Paladin. Adds a nice bit of colour to what's already a very fun place for a Paladin to quest.

Very simple as a 38 frost mage. frost nova, frost bolt, and blink is all I used. Cleared out some space to work with, and he only got one hit on me. Didn't even use cold snap either. Plenty of mana.

Solo'd EZ_MODE as a lv 39 daggers rogue. Opened with cheap shot and backstab, wait for 60 energy then gouge and backstab, kidney shot and backstab, then just rinse and repeat with gouge and kidney shot, use Sinister strike occasionally to get my combo points up. Popped Blood Fury (orc racial) for some extra dps, evasion and a greater healing potion.

Managed to finish off as a 37 rogue with only 56 HP left. If you get crippling poison on him, then you can gouge, run away, gouge, run away, etcetera, until your cooldowns (including bandages) are up. He does have a Mortal Strike ability, though, so make sure not to use bandages or potions while you have it.

He doesn't heal himself or have any casting bar spells, do don't bother with any Wound or Mind-numbing poison.

Soloable as 39lvl combat sword rogue. Used crippling poison to kite him and regain energy. Evasion was also used, but no potions/bandages.

I found him at Mannoroc Coven, near Jugkar. At first, it was hard because some adds help him, but after that just fear+dots with my lvl 40 warlock and my voidwalker. I also enslaved him, that was just for fun.

Soloed as a 36 affliction warlock. Just keep your succubus and cheaper dots trained on him and make sure he's feared at all times. And pull him a little northeast of the area so he doesn't aggro the other demons.

35 hunter and rogue duo easy, just kited him with distracting shot, rogue feints and backstabs.. hunter doesnt really need to dps just keep distracting shot / cheetah and concussive him or use frost traps if you need extra space.. rogue shouldn't get aggro

We five-manned this joker today. Me (level 70 feral druid tanking), 2 level 70 holy priests (healing me) and 2 frost mages, levels 68 and 70. He never got me below 98% hp, and we all finished the fight with full mana bars.

Soloed as a 36 warlock. As has been said multiple times, just keep him feared and dotted, and he's cake. Even managed to pull like 3 adds, just outran them and waited for them to reset.

Not sure if he still is, but Azrethoc used to be enslavable. There as a glitch long ago that got fixed, but you could permanently enslave demons. You would be able to log out and the pet bar would be gone, but Azrethoc would still follow you. If you summoned your own pet, you were able to control both demons at once with just one pet bar. It was the coolest leveling experience ever. 40-50 was a breeze when you had an elite doomguard pet tanking for you. I got quite a few tells asking how I got him. Told them it was a special quest minion :)

He's pretty simple Just soloed him as a 40 Affliction Lock just let VW get aggro first then curse him up and Kite if you pull aggro - Downed him pretty quick too bad he only dropped 57 Copper 2nd time 59 Copper and a Scroll - Not really worth soloing without Reason

Just soloed him as a level 34 hunter :) Pretty easy and took about 2-3 minutes. All you have to do is wait for him to walk near the lake east of Mannoroc Coven, then just kite him all the way around it a couple of times(He will evade if you touch the water, and not enter it so don't worry about stunning or slowing him) and he'll get down fast :)

soloed as quite nice geared frost mage lvl 40. its easy just get some free space to kite to. spam frostbolt, nova, again frostbolts, cone of cold + blink, frostbolts etc.etc. i bet it could be done with alot lower lvl mages too.

soloed lvl 37 druid. no worries like go bear form and wait to end ticks exct. just make healing touch, then regrowth rjuv for long cat form becouse of nurturing instinct if you are feral. killed him when i was oom in cat form.

Soloed him at lvl 39 arms spec war, Charge then rend used HS to key up overpower then repeat, and Execute as soon as possible. I had to use a G healing Potion about half way. No real reason to kill him just happened across him and said way not try.

Easy kill for my 36 warlock, just drop all corruption spells and fear and bubble with ur voidwalker if ur runing low on health just banish him and eat, easiest elite ive ever done

This is a real understatement of a challenge, i killed him on my level 36 Shaman with 3 pieces of Heirloom and that's it...All you do is keep water shield up for mana of course and just let loose on him, healing when ever is necessary unless its during Mortal Strike in which you just have to pray that he doesnt crit you to death

Best Daemon to enslave around that level IMO. Although I don't see much use of enslaving except for CC-ing. He got lots of HP and his Enrage diminishes the Enslave's attack speed debuff. His Enrage is also on low CD and he spams it when enslaved.

There is a random drop 煉獄火能量核心 that enables you to control the demon. It gives you a quest Jugkar's Undoing to kill Jugkar Grim'rod.

He leaves your control after a short while (I had to reload to temporarily de-install Bartender add-on) but you can re-control him.
