Krosh and Krosh's back are references to the Wailing Caverns boss Kresh, who drops a shield Kresh's Back. The quest Guess Whose Back (guess who's back?) points out this connection.

Just tamed this guy on my hunter, he's got the basic turtle skills with the "Dragon Turtle" skin. Only downside is he has a really loud and annoying sound when he takes a step on ground.

He looks great, but have a feeling people will annoy with him easily in dungeons.

He has a sound of stomping while he's walking and will keep that sound when you tame him. His spawn timer must be immediate cause I killed him once to get the quest then I tamed him a few moments later.

I'd use that turtle in dungeons for the same reason I occasionally use Zarakh, just for the annoynace factor. That is one NOISY spider too!

If you fight him with Li Li tagging along, she says the following, starting from aggro:

Li Li says: Look how big and ugly he is!
Li Li says: It's a good thing my Uncle Chen told me not to get into any fights, otherwise you'd be dead meat, turtle!
Li Li yells: Are you listening to me, turtle?

碎喉的母親 is related to a similar 'hidden' quest. Kill the 碎喉, and his mom will spawn, she drops the quest item.

One interesting thing, 巨鱷尾巴 is not BoP.

He is the only model of this Color for the raised ridged shell of this type of turtle. So if any "Hunter" wants him hes easy to find.

I love it, I just tamed him, the annoying sound makes him my favorite tank pet.
