Some people consider their character apperance to be a significant factor in their enjoyment of the game and many will agree that the armor set Hulfdan wears is quite stylish.

Fortunately, anyone who is capable of wearing leather has access to this armor.

He is wearing the Nightscape "set" gear ("set" is in quotes because the gear itself has similar stats and appearance but doesn't qualify as an actual set), minus the head band. This is craftable by any leatherworker (no specialization required); the leatherworker simply must be a minimum of 205 skill for the headband and chest and a maximum of 235 for the boots. The leatherworker, to achieve the necessary skill level, will need to be at least level 35. Leatherworking is not required to wear this gear.

I have yet to determine what belt Hulfdan wears.

Blackbeard is a old pirate. He had long black beard and was a pirate for only 2 years. Before his fights with the english navy, he put burning matches in his beard. When the english navy attacked his ship he fought well and then died. The english captain put his head infront of his boat, he wanted to show that the pirate was dead.

The crafted Nightscape set lacks gloves. There's a quest reward however that matches the set perfectly - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4980#comments

Now i just need that belt.

EDIT: Turns out there's a matching belt too - Shadow Panther Hide Belt from Zul'Gurub.

And another set of gloves that match it - Shadow Panther Hide Gloves again from ZG.

There are three rogue trainers in The Forlorn Cavern in 鐵爐堡. The two upstairs simply ask a variation of "What can I do for you?" and give an option to enter the Proving Grounds. However, Hulfdan (who is on the lower level of the rogue building) has a strange dialogue when spoken with:

He grows fatter and more corrupt with each passing day. Ye can smell the stink comin' off o' his body. He be dirty, an' I dun just mean he be needin' a wash.

Enough babblin' from Hulfdan. Where did ye come from and how can me help ye, rogue?

I don't know if this is related to a quest I did long-ago and forgot about (although I couldn't find anything in particular) and/or if it's because I'm a rogue. It could also be referring to the little 鬼祟土撥鼠 that can be seen next to him when rogues use 偵測.
