Ok, i've soloed her as a 87 Balance druid. It's hard but it's doable, it took me awhile and i've also noticed these things

- She can be disorientated
- She can be stunned
- She can be silenced
- She cannot be cycloned
- She can be rooted/snared
- She can be knock backed

For chi burst, she'll start casting it when you're a certain distance from her which is about from one pagoda pillar to another. She'll stop where she is and start casting Chi Burst. You can hide behind a pillar and move closer to her to prevent her from blasting you. She'll cast Spinning Crane Kick and once the spell is over, she'll normally follow it up with a Heal. It's a 8-12 second cycle between these 2 phases.

To prevent this you must interrupt it in any way possible and if you lack the tools you might want to play around with a few glyphs and talent. You need to prevent her from casting a heal until she starts casting Spinning Crane Kick which is about 8-12 seconds later. She'll alternate between the kick and heal if she has missing HP.

One important thing to note is that you should kite her if you're a range but not too far or she'll start blasting you with her Chi Burst.

I got the talents Typhoon, Mighty Bash & Renewal for this fight. I also glyphed for Fearie Fire.

I kited her around with moonfire and sunfire spam and i would cast Solarbeam on the very first heal and a combination of Typhoon, Mighty Bash & Fearie Fire (Bear Form) for the interrupts. Keep rejuvenation on yourself and start running once she casts Spinning Crane Kick. If i was too slow and unable to get out of the Spinning Crane Kick in time i would pop Barkskin & Renewal.

You should try to maximise your spell efficiency by interrupting her casts at the last second if not instead of 2-3 heals she might cast a 4th one. Maximise the time she spends in the heal phase to allow your CD to come off.

I've been fighting fighting her 1v1 till i got her hp 300k and then the dk came! So its soloable but not as melee....
you need to avoid the Spinning and Interrupt her heal!

Just soloed as an 87 hunter, BM spec. I cycled through intimidation, silencing and scatter shot to counter the heal. Be patient, DPS isn't the problem, it's that damn heal. I had absolutely no problems keeping the Core Hound tank up.

She is solable as melee! Just did it on my 87 Paladin - yes it was hard but worth it!

As a paladin you just have to keep attacking her until she does her spinning kick thing, when she does this run away! Then after she usually trys to heal so use any of the three interrupt spells we have to stop her! A good 6 minute fight doing this. I am also under the impression she doesn't do Chi Burst if you are melee as it did not happen to me at all, but I could be wrong. Good luck!

I can confirm that this is indeed a hard fight as a melee, but its not impossible. Unholy 86 DK. I started with my Army of the Dead, of course. When she starts casting spinning crane kick move your pet away too, with follow, otherwise she will most likely kill it as well. Dark Transformation helped interrupt a heal or two, but you have to be vigilant on them. I missed one heal and she went to full health from around 75%.

You can slow her when shes not spinning kicking. So you can use this to your advantage to kite with Icy Chains and deal some ranged damage, but if you run too far away she will Chi Burst you. Didn't happen to me because I read the comments here but keep it in mind. You need to have a way of healing yourself and be ready to use it, and make it available as soon as possible.

Not an impossible fight, but difficult because theres little room for error.

Adding. She was downed ~150pm EST on my server. I will report next time I see her so we can get a rough estimate of the spawn time.

DID NOT DROP THE FIREWORKS.

Did this as an 88 ret paladin, it was extremely easy.

Just stick on Seal of Insight, interrupt the heal and run away when she starts casting Spinning Crane Kick.

All she dropped was some leather bracers.

You can LoS her Chi Burst spell with the poles surrounding the area that she spawns.

That said, I couldn't solo her as a level 90 priest. With only 1 interrupt and it being on a 45 sec CD, she would cast it too often for me to prevent it a second time. Extremely frustrating.

Was very difficult as an Elemental Shaman but managed to solo it at 90. Earth Elemental Totem was essential and once it ran out I stayed in melee with healing totems up and ran away from Crane Kick in Ghost Wolf, then popped Ascendance, Stormlash Totem and Bloodlust and spammed her down.

All Pandaren rares use the same set of abilities.

Chi Blast is a lethal ranged attack that can potentially one-shot a same level character depending on maximum health. It can be interrupted, but it's far better to completely avoid the ability altogether by staying within 15 yards of the Pandaren. As long as you do not move further than 15 yards from the caster, they will simply never use it.

Healing Mists is an interruptable heal that is typically cast after Spinning Crane Kick. This heals the Pandaren for a huge amount of health, and while it's preferable to let this go off if it means stopping a Chi Blast earlier on, it's better to save your interrupts for this and avoid Chi Blast by staying close.

Spinning Crane Kick is avoidable simply by running away. The Pandaren moves faster than normal running speed, so be ready with some kind of speed boost (about 30% should do) or get a head start while the Pandaren is still casting the initial spell. Stunning during the channel will stop the attack, but stunning during the initial cast will only make them cast it again when the stun wears off.

This is the second rare-spawn I have encountered today with the 'Healing Mists' ability, which seems to not be working properly as of Oct 4th. It should have an internal cooldown of 20-30 seconds, which allows most classes to properly stop it almost every time. The problem is the rare-spawns are continuously casting them one after the other. Fighting her Solo I stopped it 3 times one after the other, within a 10 second time period. I went to find some help and when I seen her cast it 5-7 times in a row I stopped and am hoping Blizzard fixes these NPCs. As soon as you interrupt the ability they will try to recast it seconds later.

Soloed as a 90 shadowpriest. It's really easy once you understand the mechanics of the Chi attack.
As soon as she does the Spinning Kick ability, run away. However, move towards her as soon as stops to make sure she doesn't start to cast the Chi attack. It will hit you for at least 90k (20% dmg mitigation as shadowpriest) and she keeps casting them.

Just keep dots up, move away with Spinning Kick and move towards her so she doesn't use Chi attack. Interrupt her heals as much as possible (had her at 9%, missed one heal due to CD and she was at 42% again). I used my shield as much as I could to mitigate her dmg. Came out with about 90k health lost.
She dropped the cloth bracers and the fireworks for me \o/

This gives you 3 ways to interrupt the heal depending on your other talents.

I am really confused by this fight...I switched to BM spec so I had all 3 available interrupts (silencing shot, intimidation & scatter shot). So, now, she casts that darn heal 4 times within moments (and before any of my talents come off cooldown). So, I'm not certain what to do now. The issue, as has been mentioned, definitely isn't keeping pet/tank up or dps... it's trying to figure out how to stop that heal...

I start with silence since that one comes off cooldown first. Then intimidate and finally scatter. The problem is, the second scatter wears off, she casts the heal again. Perhaps I could try scatter in the middle and keep intimidate for when scatter goes off....

Any advice would be most welcome!

If she's phasing for you and you happen to be a pet class, get as close as you can near the kun lai summit without going into monastery and use a pet to lure her out.

You have to send pet and aggro, then pull back, then send pet, then back, over and over till she's within your killing range, otherwise she will stand there and cast chi burst.

Or get a friend who isn't phased... lol

Unsuccessful as a level 89 BM hunter sustaining 20k DPS. Used a crane pet for the sleep ability, so I had 4 interrupts: Sleep, Silencing Shot, Intimidation and Scatter shot.

I was able to interrupt 4 healing mists in a row before she went into crane kick again, but she cast healing mists AGAIN before any of my cooldowns were up.

I also tried nuking her as hard as possible and also doing slow and steady... She's leaving me scratching my head.

Edit: Widow Venom doesn't seem to have any affect on her, and if it does, it's negligible.

You need to finish the shado-pan quest chain, the phasing is linked to that (at least). I hadn't finished the very last quest (accompany some dude in his balloon to the shado-pan monas entry) and noticed that she was phasing out when I came close.
Did that last quest and finished the whole shado-pan quest line in that area and she was no longer hiding.

I would just like to say that the rares are either always going to spawn between 4-7am or it's just my luck.

Around 3:50am server time nothing was there.4am,I found nearly 10 rares and it's 5am server time so i have completed 1/4 of the 光榮無比！ from only 1! I may be mistaken or it may be accurate or it could most likely be that my luck is insanely high :P

Any melee with respectable dps shouldn't have an issue. As has been mentioned, run out for Spinning Crane Kick (or stun when she does it - make sure you stun just after she casts but before you take a tick of damage, so that she doesn't try to do it immediately again after the stun fades), and interrupt Soothing Mists. Easy peasy.

First of all, the phasing: Confirming that 長城之外 is the problem. She was phased out when I had completed the entire Shado-Pan quest line; after completing that quest I was able to reach her.

Easily soloed as an 88 Assassination Rogue without running afoul of any of her special abilities. Move away when she starts casting 鶴旋踢 until there's about one second left then start moving back, Kick to interrupt the heal. Her normal attacks don't hit for much at all, with Recuperate I was at near full health for the whole fight.

I had the issue of her phasing out. I put in a ticket to a gm and they said they aware of the issue and are likely to fix it in a future patch. As this was one of my last rares needed for the Glorious achievement i wasn't really satisfied with waiting. As a prot pally i was able to pull her by dropping consecrate at her location and running to the nearest spot that she would become unphased. I found this to be at the south east end right at the end of the ditch. Aoe won't damage her when she is phased, but as soon as she is unphased it will begin to dmg her. As long as 1 tick of the Aoe hit her she would aggro and come running after me. After thats it was pretty much the same as any other pandaren rare.

Pet Class can solo Phasing Ahone.
1) Stand as close to the edge of the phasing area until she just appears (see my screenshot).
2) Send in pet, then as soon as it hits her, put pet on passive, she will pull to near the chain around the temple.
3) Send pet back to Tank her. Use a pet with interrupts to give one more interrupt for 'Healing Mists' (I used a Gorilla on my hunter because of the short cool down).
4) Hunters can send pet to loot corpse with 'Glyph of Fetch', so never have to move towards phasing area.
5) Profit

ADDITIONAL: - for some BM Hunters who commented having problems with Healing Mists you have 4 interrupts (silencing shot, intimidation, scatter shot, + pet interrupt (whichever you choose, but Gorilla has a short cooldown). If you stay close enough so that she does not cast Chi Burst, do steady DPS, heal your pet, and interrupt Healing Mists every time you can, then you will get her down. If you miss an interrupt, it does not matter, your cooldowns will cycle just keep going.

As a 89 BM hunter, fight was pretty easy. I stayed out of her spin kick range, did my rotation, tossed a heal on my pet when needed, and used 威嚇 anytime she went to heal to prevent her from healing. By the time she tried casting heal again 威嚇 was back up. Only needed that as my interrupt.

Hope that helps any fellow hunters out there.

WoD UPDATE: For any new hunters (since you can boost to 90), 威嚇 is now a talent, and will be available to any of your pets. If you don't choose it you now have 駁火反擊, which took the place of 沉默射擊. You don't need to spec for it. So you can use that instead.

I just soloed on my 89 Assassination Rogue after a few near death attempts. I traded my normal use poisons for 致傷毒藥 & 麻痺毒藥. After calming down and learning her abilities the fight went easy. Kick heal, Kidney shot her Crane kick, or just weaved in and out of pillars if on cd. Note: Twice in fight she tried healing right after i kicked an attempt to heal. Keep blind in mind. This fight is easy once you feel her out a couple times.

I had the same phasing problem as other people. I didn't just have to finish the "Where Are My Reinforcements?" but also the "Unbelievable!" quest in front of the dungeon before she became visible to me.

I was having a chat with a GM today as I had the phase problem, too.

In short: Rare Mobs like Ahone shouldn't be inside phasing at all. It is a known bug and is to be fixed in a future patch.

The reason why a called for a GM, maybe others have the same problem: I couldn't pick up the Quest 長城之外 because it's a "breadcrumb quest", which leads you to kun-lai.
But it will become unavailable as soon as you have surpassed some requirements (I think of character-level or something like that). Since I did not enter Kun-Lai the usual way (went there as soon as I touched lvl 87) , I never did that breadcrumb quest, and now I'm lvl 90 I will never ever be able to do it.

Soloed as a mage at level 88 after several tries.

As a caster there are 3 things to keep in mind:

1. As annoying as it might sound you have to try and stay around melee range of Ahone or she will cast Chi Burst which can pretty much one hit you.

2. When she starts to cast Spinning crane kick you have to move out of the way, she will not cast Chi Burst during this (obviously) so move out of melee range during this. When Spinning crane kick has about a second left then start running towards her (make sure you don't get hit by it though, it hits for about 80k).

3. Healing mists is the only spell you should interrupt. It will heal her for about 1m and is a royal pain in the ass if you don't interrupt.

As a mage i have a few tips for other mages.

She is not immune to your Deep Freeze so you can use Deep Freeze on here while she is casting Spinning Crane Kick thus removing the threat from that ability
Time warp and Mirror Image, these two should be used together as mirror image draws the threat from you thus allowing you to utilize your Time Warp fully. This gives you the ability to get her down to about 70% hp.
Blink, this should be used while she is using spinning crane kick if the CC failed it is a life saver, you can get away from here really fast to avoid the kick.
Make sure you have Cauterize and Ice Block ready so you have a second chance if she manages to hit you with Spinning Crane Kick or even worse Chi Burst

I used frost to solo here since you get a second frost nova from the minion, this is really helpful. I can't see how Fire or Arcane would've helped me in any way.

These are my experiences and how i killed her as a mage. Hope it helps. :)

Successfully solo'd as a 87 Shadow Priest. Needless to say the fight was tedious, taking well over 10 minutes due to the difference in CD's between her heal and my silence.

I kited her Spinning Crane Kick using Body and Soul and used Silence whenever it was available... for any leveling shadow priests who dare to challenge this woman... cross your fingers and pray for crits because the only way to overcome the spam of heals (with my experience) is to kill her as soon as possible.

After many Healing Mists and lucky Divine Insight procs I finally took her down. My time was rewarded with plate bracers....Next time NPC Scan catches her I think I'll just keep running.

phasing issues with this NPC can be resolved very easily without completing any quests. All you need is a friend :D

Ok, so you party up with someone who is not phased from the mob. That person will get close to ahone, without attacking. All you need to do is stand far enough back, where you can see the mob, but make sure you are still in range to receive loot. If you cannot see the mob, you are too close. The best way to position is to get close and back up slowly. Stop as soon as the mob phases in. Once you are both in position, have your friend attack and kill the mob, and you stay put. You will be eligible for loot when the mob dies and receive achievement credits as well.

Confirmed this with a few rares so far.

Even with the phasing issue, you can kill her fairly easily with any class that has a pet and range abilities. Mages/Locks/Boomkin/Hunters/DKs (use grip when she's in range) should all have no problem.

The mountaintop at 41:43 is as close you can get to her while still being in Kun Lai Summit, and keeping her in your phase. From here you simply you need to send your pet to attack her and she will run to attack them. If your pet is a melee only pet you will need to pull them back fairly quickly to kite her close to you, otherwise she will kill the pet and use her ranged Chi Burst ability which hits for ~130k.

She will use Chi Burst if you are not within 20 yards so once she is kited within this range just start trucking into her; you want to kill her ASAP because she does do quite a bit of damage and you don't really have room to run away from her Spinning Crane Kick.

It might take a few tries practicing the correct pet pathing (it only took me 2 tries using Treants since they have a ranged attack it was fairly easy).

Soloed her numerous times as a level 85 enhancement shaman (ilvl 429). Just pop 鬼魂之狼 and run from her while she is casting 鶴旋踢 and then back in melee range asap so that she doesn't cast 真氣爆裂. Use Wind Shear to interrupt her 治療之霧 or the fight will go on and on... And ain't nobody got time fo' dat! =)

Killed her to day. As a hunter but i for got to get her close to me so i could loot. Now when i try to loot she goes away :(. just sucks im missing out on the loot and wont ever know what she droped. Aleast i can say i have the kill :P for the achivement

Just killed her as a 90 BM Hunter. Due to the fact I only have 1 interrupt I had to time things carefully. I hit all my CD's to start the fight MoC, Stampede, Dire Beast, BW and got her about 50%. Used Intimidation when she cast her mega-heal and worked her to 25% and then she healed again before my interrupt was back up. Just had to grind hard on her until I got Kill Shot and barely managed to kill her as she was casting her 5th heal.

So it can be done, but you have to DPS the crap out of her and time it right.

Basically, for all those having trouble with phasing issues but don't want to go through doing the necessary quests in case someone steals the kill while you're doing it, there's a way around it.

If you're a class that has a "pet" with the pet control bar, stand outside of the phase zone so you can see her, send your pet to attack her and then put your pet on passive so it returns to you, this should taunt her outside of the phasing area and allow you to attack her as normal.

Lucky for classes with pets, unlucky for everyone else, as you'll need a friend/guildie/whatever to come help out.

I had a blood dk stand at the edge near the mountain facing east if you are facing the gong. as a lock, i just free casted, and i was able to bypass the phasing.

So if you are a Warrior and are having a hard time killing this rare due to phasing issues, I found a workaround, but it is tricky to pull off!

Go up to Ahone (she will phase out) and drop your Mocking Banner down near her spawn point. Whenever you zone out of the Shado-Pan Monastery area, the banner will continue to pulse and taunt her toward you and therefore you gain aggro. HOWEVER, in order to effectively kill her, SHE must be in the Kun-Lai Summit zone along with you and this is not an easy feat. She casts Chi Burst at a max range of 50 yards, and with our longest ranged abilities at a max of 30 yards, we have to find a way to cut that distance. I have a screenshot that I drew over that basically explains how to do it, apologies if the text is hard to read.

Basically, drop the banner. Then fly up to the designated spot. Immediately dismount and wait for the banner to do its thing. Once aggro is gained, be patient and wait until she crosses the chain. Once that happens, jump down to the next spot. Make sure Heroic Leap gets you there otherwise the fall damage + Chi Burst will more than likely kill you. At this point she should be in range of Heroic Throw, so make sure you are glyphed for Gag Order and silence that cast. Once she is silenced, jump down to the final area where you will kill her. She could cast Chi Burst again, so make sure you are spec'd into Disrupting Shout just in case if the silence is needed. Otherwise, she will cast Spinning Crane Kick and hit you hard. Counter this with a Dragon Roar and burn her down. She got one kick off and then I DR'd and she didn't continue casting it. If you interrupt the cast before she channels it, she may immediately try again and it will be a wipe for you. I had a pretty decent repair bill from learning this, so I hope this helps people out while the zone is still glitchy with phasing :)

Was phased but I managed to bring her to me and easily solo her. Here is my plan...
as I did Beyond the Wall, Where are My Reinforcements? and all shadow-pan questline and have the Slum It in the Summit achievement... I was still phased so I had to find a way to do it while phased...

Go Higher cliff on east, you will not be phased.
Use Force of Nature Force of Nature and then you the /petattack macro (or keybind) on Ahone the wonderer

Once she stop moving closer (should be on the chains) and start casting 真氣爆裂 because you are too far, use your Solar Beam silencing her and force her to come to you.
Just typhoon when she cast spinning kick and she get stuck at bottom of the cliff and use your Solar Beam when she try to heal herself.

Like everyone, I had a phase issue. But as a hunter, I figured out you can send in your pet while standing on a ledge just before you enter in the area that phases you. Have your pet pick her up, and then use the Move To command to bring her close and start shooting. Once she is dead, if you don't want to risk phasing and losing the loot, the Fetch glyph is really useful. Send your pet after the loot. =) Guess this could work with minoin classes as well.

To fix the Ahone the Wanderer phasing issue, here is what I had to do:

*Complete the quest line at Shado-Pan Fallback in Kun-Lai Summit. The last quest I had to do there was "Holed Up".
*Go to Winters Blossom in Kun-Lai Summit and do the quest "Where are my Reinforcements" which you can get from Ban Bearheart. (This quest just requires you to take a balloon ride to the Shado-Pan Monastery and watch a cinematic.)
*After arriving at the Shado-Pan Monastery via air balloon, turn in the quest and accept the quest "Unbelievable!" Now go talk to the Shado-Pan Sentinel outside the instance portal to the right and defeat him.

After doing this, I was able to see and defeat Ahone the Wanderer. If this does not work for you, you will have to put in a ticket.

So since I have Slum It in the Summit, that should address all teh comments about phasing....yet today in 5.1 Ahone phases out well before I get in spell ability much less melee. Any other suggestions?

as of patch 5.2, was on my hunter started trying to do this but came with a problem to usual

- keep pet healed
- silence her very powerful heal

that was it

but as of now level 90 hunter my tank pets health went down very fast when she did her
鶴旋踢, unfortunately it seems pets no longer receive low damage or if any from this attack.

as of now my new tactics would be

- heal pet up
-silence the heal
- put on passive as soon as 鶴旋踢 is casting and run, side stepping seems to work better then turning your character around.

As of Patch 5.2, it is possible for people with the previous bugged phasing to accept the quest 我丈夫... which puts you in the correct phasing.

It doesn't seem possible to complete the quest as the phasing prevents it, but atleast those hunting the rare and/or the item should be able to do so now without issues :)

One of my characters has had the phasing issue for months and I couldn't figure out why, since all of my Kun-lai quests were done. Turns out all I needed to do was turn in Beyond The Wall which is sorted under Townlong Steppes. As soon as I turned that in and went back, my phasing issues were fixed.

Okay, I FINALLY managed to kill her on my protection paladin without having to do anything weird. So, unless her spawn timer is less than half an hour, it seems that she may spawn separately in different phases. Consistently, I've had problems with phasing and whatnot, never having actually seen her until I completed Kun-Lai Summit (and still had problems after finishing Loremaster of Pandaria). However, about half an hour after seeing her dead body phasing in and out, I actually got to go up to her and kill her. Don't know what the difference is, but my guess is different spawns per different phases, or else an incredibly short spawn timer.

so this is in theory only. i can not as well get close to her to kill her and get the loot. just phases in and out. so reading over the comments. the other person did beyond the wall. will looking into that quest there is actually a situation with that quest itself.

These 3 quests are concurrent. You can accept and complete only one of them.

SO if you completed one of the other two then perhaps that makes you disqualify for this rare?

I went back to the pick up site of where beyond the wall was but i had completed the entire set of quests at the campsite so idk what quest i actually did. So if you havent done the quest yet look for beyond the wall first and try doing that vs the other two.

In my case, picking up the quest 我丈夫... allowed me to be the in the same phase as Ahone. Of note, my character switched factions from Horde to Alliance so I get all kinds of quest and phasing wonkiness.

As it said at the top about her phasing out, happens to me with most of the rares except one in vale of eternal blossoms, i would get close and they would just disappear

Also had the problem with her phasing out. Here's how I solved it as a hunter.

Had my pet engage her and pull her within range to kill her. Then I had the problem with her corpse phasing out. Solved it by using Glyph of fetch and had my pet retrieve the loot.

Soloable as a twink 85 frost mage. Make sure you have glyph of the water elemental so your pet will run with you when she channels spinning crane kick. As soon as she starts channelling this... run... this will save you and your pet taking any damage.

Keep her slowed and kite and stay in her sweet spot which is out of melee range but close enough to avoid chi burst.

I have my counter spell hotkeyed and macroed and it will stop my current casting if needed. I've been killing all the rares like this in the summit solo with the hope of getting all the 430 ilevel cloth drops.

The problem I noticed at first was that if I went straight dps she would spam heal too often and actually doing it a bit slower makes the fight more managable.

Now with the Grimoire of Sacrifice you get the Spell Lock for yourself so no annoying pet ress all the time and 2% HP regen which helps to tank the melee attack. Whenever you see Spinning Crane Kick being cast use use Burning Rush immediately to just get far away as possible. Save Burning Embers for healing if you need it or just use them for DPS if you are well-geared enough. Save Shadowfury for when Spell Lock is off cooldown in case you are having trouble. You can also use your Infernal for additional CC if you are having trouble.

90 BM Hunder with Loque, threw in my stampede right away. She killed all the critters with her spinning kick and then killed me with three fireballs of some sort. Screw this.

Level 90 ilvl 516 BM hunter. Have Silencing Shot and Scatter shot on your action bar. My rotation was as follows: Hunter's Mark, Misdirect on pet, Serpent Sting. A Murder of Crows, Dire Beast, Glaive Toss, one Arcane Shot...CALL PET BACK (PASSIVE). Wait for her spinning crane kick to end ( I was letting my toon just autoshoot, was scared to get too much threat), send pet back in, USE STAMPEDE NOW, and spam the hell outta your dps rotation. You'll need to use Silencing Shot and Scatter Shot to stop her from healing. If fast enough, she will only Crane Kick once. GL!

Got her as a (well-geared) 81 MM Hunter.

Was actually fairly straightforward once I'd worked out tactics - unlike most of the other MoP rares, Ahone is all by herself, with no adds / mobs to worry about.

Key is to take it steady and make sure you pull your pet out of melee range whenever she starts casting spinning crane kick - I set up a macro for this:

/petpassive
/petfollow
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

For those who are interested, my tactics:

1. Attack with pet first - let him get agro (this fight is not a dps race in any way).

2. Start attacking as well, but it is much more important to be in the right position and ready to react to Ahone than doing that bit extra dps.

3. You need to stand within 20 yards of Ahone or she will 1-shot you with her Chi Burst ability - if you're closer than 20 yards, she doesn't use it. But you want to be as near to 20 yards as possible to help with running away from her SCK (she moves a bit faster than you when channelling this).

4. As soon as Ahone starts casting SCK, recall your pet and start heading in the opposite direction. Unless you're good at movement, don't mess around with strafing round in circles - there's no need. Your pet will move to catch up with you and your ~15 yard headstart will be plenty to keep you out of trouble.

5. As soon as SCK has finished, make sure you send your pet back in (with a pet attack macro). If you've got the timing late and she is already casting Healing Mists, then interrupt this first.

6. She will try and heal herself after the first SCK and then after every other SCK - interrupt with Silencing Shot. It has a 24 sec CD, but this is fine as she only tries to heal herself after every second SCK.

7. Rinse and repeat! Think it took me just under 5 mins to kill her.

8. If your pet gets killed (by getting caught in an SCK likely), don't sweat it! If she is about to heal herself, wait for that, interrupt, then rez. If it's not a healing round, then just rez straight away. Ahone will come up and start hitting you, but her normal melee hits aren't up to much.

9. If Ahone ever starts casting Chi Burst, run towards her - if you get within the 20 yard range, she won't fire it off (or feign death if you think you're too far away).

The good news is that this is a pretty forgiving fight! Unless you get caught by Chi Burst (and why would you, when you can FD?), you really need to make 2 mistakes in a row to die. Too slow getting your pet away from SCK? No problem - just rez! Missed an interrupt? No problem - just means you're stuck there for a bit longer!

PS Obviously keep mend pet up throughout.

PPS You should be using solo-ing Talents / Glyphs such as Spirit Bond, Glyphs of Mending and Animal Bond.

PPPS Pets should be in tenacity spec and I would recommend a turtle or beetle for their shield spell (if you're doing any soloing at all, I would stick to one of these two pets)

I took a swing at Ahone with my well-geared Afflock, but after she one-shotted the VW twice WHILE I was in the process of healing him, I just didn't see the benefit. I'm sure there's a complex and interesting way to kill her, as some of the other posters have cleverly done, but I was afraid she would be suffering from loot deprivation. You do all the work and pay all the repair bills and you get...nothing. Nada. Rien. Schmaltz. A warm feeling? Maybe a little like when you can't get to the lavatory quickly enough?

I can handle that on my own, thanks, and it doesn't negatively affect my repair bill.

Grimore of Sacrificed a felhunter to silence and interrupt the healing spell, used the shadowfury talent if the spinning attack got too close.
Whenever she started casting the spinning attack, I ran away in one direction. Kept up dots, had a summoning circle as a second emergency getaway.

It wasn't pretty and took several tries....but doable :)

As a beast mastery hunter:

Use your two interrupts to interrupt her healing spell. Counter Shot should be first priority, but use Scatter Shot if your Counter is on cooldown. Keep your pet on "assist", so you can pull your pet back when she uses her Spinning Crane Kick.

As long as you maintain distance when she uses her kick, but run back close to her after she finishes her kick, you'll be fine. The hardest part is interrupting her heals while keeping your pet on/off her at the right times.

I don't know how accurate the drop rate for the 熊貓人煙火發射器 is. I have over 70 kills on her and still nothing. I know that its potentially a 10% drop per chance. But my current rate with no success is at 0.73 currently.

Can anyone confirm this still drops from her/on her loot table?

so every once in a while i remember i still do not possess the fireworks toy. I hearth to pandaland and fly on over. yesterday was the FIRST TIME I have ever seen this npc with my druid.

then i remember she's not far from where monks can easily port to. PSA: if you dont need the cheeve, just take your monk to see if Ahone is up
