Part of 可敬的對手 achievement. Found just east of Fallsong Village, in a little shrine. He's neutral until you attack him.

He has quite a bit of HP, about what you'd expect from an elite. He shoots Water Bolts and has an ability called "Torrent" which are both interruptable. DIdn't see what Torrent actually did as I interrupted it each time.

His most deadly ability is called Rain Dance. It shoots out little globs of water where you're standing that hit for about 75k. You can just circle somewhat slowly around him to avoid them.

When I killed him, he dropped an epic BoE robe (ilvl 440) and a BoP rare helm, both cloth.

Killed on Sep 9, 2012. Very straightforward fight, one of the easier MoP rares I've encountered so far.

The only two things you need to do is interrupt 洪流 as it channels for a tonne of damage, and strafe when he casts 雨舞 so you don't get hit by the water globes.

Water bolt is ignorable, it doesn't hit for much at all. Aside from that, tank and spank.

coords 30:38 fallsong villiage inside small temple. was able to kill him easily with a bear druid and kitty druid. next to scroll of origins. 3:29 am server time Cho'gall.

He's not too difficult but he can hit hard.

He has three abilities:
水箭
洪流
雨舞

水箭 is his go to attack and while interruptable, just let it go. You need to save your interrupt. 洪流 is what you want to interrupt. It is channeled and while you might be able to survive a tick or two of it, it will whittle you down. So don't let him cast it.

雨舞 is what makes this guy a little hard. Each projectile hits for about 90k-100k frost damage in a small area of effect. Just keep moving and you should not get hit by any. Just throw out a stun or incapacitate as soon as he starts channeling and you'll be fine. If you stun or incapacitate him while he's casting before channeling he will just cast it again once he's free.

He has a good amount of health so you will have to deal with these spells quite a few times.

Killed at 00:34 27 September. Got the epic BOE cloth pants, as well as 2 rare drops and the bag. Bag contained 2 stacks of ore. 2 manned @ 87, relatively simple mechanics. Cool fight :)

Solo'ed him as a lvl 87 hunter in mostly quest greens and a turtle tank pet. Brought him out of the shrine into the open. It was easier to control the fight. Had to keep spamming mend pet as he took lots of damage at times. Watch out for his torrent and rain dance abilities they can kill you quickly. Also of note the Fallsong Kai did not help in the fight, just sood there and watched so don't count on them for help. Another aslo, he gave me 209k exp when killed. Good luck and happy hunting.

Killed as 85 BM hunter with Spirit Beast pet. He killed my pet 3 times during the fight (I didn't read here about his abilities first so wasn't interrupting his Torrent) but each time he killed him I just hit Scatter Shot to stun him until I had ressed the pet.

He dropped the caster mail head item... useless for me but I felt quite chuffed for beating him at level 85 :)

Soloed on a fire mage, dropped Crest of the Red Crane, a leather int head piece.

Mages should keep in mind that his Torrent, even though the cast bar is shielded, can be interrupted with Dragon's Breath.

Just now, I ran into this guy and half way through the fight, I got disconnected.

So of course, the server comes back three minutes later and he is gone (nobody else killed him)

BTW. He was in the largest building in Fallsong Village 30.6, 37.9

This NPC drops 舟倪師‧水行者的絲質華服, but his name is Cournith, not Courinth. I wonder if this is just a typo, or if Blizzard is trying to mess with us in some way...

A helpful tip for people that have troubles with his rain dance: Try to pull him out into the lake. The projectiles won't register the water as surface and land far below you, making him a real pushover.

This works for other rares of this type as well of course, as long as there's water with a certain depth to it nearby.

So, we run into the Jinyu's village, find a Jinyu meditating in their local house of worship. Kill him, take his treasure and then they ask us to help their village?

Not hard but difficult to fight inside, so I just pulled him out. You can interrupt torrent but rain dance you need to fear or stun or avoid the globes.

Solo'ed as 87 Prot Paladin. Simple fight, just like everyone says. My only addition is that I ran around the building while he did the Rain Dance, while fighting/interrupting everything else. Once I was able to run around the building and avoid the projectiles from the Rain Dance, it was cake.

Got 神真甲殼護盔 for my troubles.

I just killed him today soloed on my 84 lock with no prob. looted him and didn't get the pants drop i hope he respawns alot want the pants

Soloed as 86 Subtlety Rogue, just kidney shot the rain dance and kick torrent and i :)'ed when i got my 420 helm GL

i am trying to camp him for the epic pants, they are a sexy transmog on a belf. Does anyone know the respawn timer?

stay out of his Rain attack. Stun him if you can. Interrupt his channel attack. Let the water bolt got through,its his weakest attack

Saw his corpse at 5:55am & 7:06am

Used the 1.5hrs +/-0.5hrs to come back at 8:10 waiting for spawn, he spawned at 8:22am

the respawn timer as of 11/5/2020 is ~~at least 30min.still waiting on my kill to respawn from about that time ago.~~

UPDATE: killed at 21:48, respawned at 22:40

note: i was NOT in Chromie Time doing this. my 3rd kill i received one gear and a small bag of goods.
