Even the guards in Orgrimmar don't know where our Marith Lazuria hangs out.
If you ask a guard where she is, they will give you a "false" location, sending you to what appears to be a wagon full of barrels of beer (or so we hope).

This NPC is located just outside the building which is West (Left on the map) of the Blacksmithing building.
Ask a Guard where the Blacksmithing Profession Trainer is, Look at your map, you will see a flag. Drag your cursor slightly west (left) of the flag and on top of the building next to the flag.
This is where Marith Lazuria hangs out.

Keep in mind that you cannot do the Jewelcrafting dailies until your Jewelcrafting skill is at 475.

Handy Tip for all you Jewelcrafters:

3 of the Jewelcrafting dailies can level your Jewelcrafting skill up to 485.
After you ding 485 any of the gems that you cut for these Jewelcrafting dailies will not level up your Jewelcrafting skill.

"Nibbler! No!" - Cut 3 Solid Zephyrite
"A Present For Lila" - Cut 3 Timeless Nightstone
"Ogrezonians in the Mood" - Cut 3 Jagged Jasper

Also keep in mind: YOU MUST CUT THE GEMS YOURSELF.

You cannot buy 3 Solid Zephyrite, Timeless Nightstone, or Jagged Jasper Gems and then go hand the quest in, the quests specifically asks for them to be cut.

Yes, you can buy the UNCUT gems from the auction house and then cut them.

Shocked nobody has mentioned this, but each of her dailies reference Futurama
Ogrezonians in the mood-Episode of futurama where crew lands on an amazon planet
The Latest Fashion!- Mentions a doctor vernstrom, in reference to doctor wernstrom
Nibbler! No!- Direction mention of lila and nibbler, who eats everything, and who's feces is extremely heavy
Elemental Goo-Also mentions doctor vernstrom
A Present for Lila- Mentions Lila again, and references Bender with "bonder" who steals gems

I know it shouldn't be so notable in this day and age, but it can be gleaned from the quest text for 'A present for Lila' that this NPC is gay. If that's intentional then fair play Blizz - nice to see a more progressive attitude towards these sorts of things in games.

Honestly, I don't see how wanting to give a present to someone makes you gay. Especially women, they'll give you presents/cards for no reason.

I'm trying to impress this trade ship captain Lila

It's not like she's trying to impress Lila for business reasons or something, as she says the necklace will "match her lovely purple hair" and "I can't wait to see the look in her beautiful eye when I give this to her".

Maybe she's not "gay" (she could be bi, or whatever the Azerothian equivalent is) but it is strongly implied that she has a crush on Lila. I think it's cute.

But nice to know you read my original comment properly, and understood it.

Or, as has been posted numerous times, these quests are all pop-culture references. Note that they reference Leela, which is the cyclopian captain in Futurama. She has, as a cyclops, ONE EYE.

Daily quest resets at 3 AM (EU servers).
Was looking here for the info but didn't really find it where it should have been.
There you go, have fun. Now at 3:01 AM you can just go to the AH, buy the uncommon gems for the daily quest and repost them for profit :)

Did a little research today and this is what I found. I wrote this down and printed it out to keep next to my keyboard so I figured I would post it to see if it was helpful to anyone else.

Gem Colors:
(R):Red
(B):Blue
(Y):Yellow
(R/B):Purple
(R/Y):Orange
(B/Y):Green

Mixing Attributes below to get the gem you want is simple as (Example: Intellect & Haste or R+Y=Orange 魯莽的灰燼黃寶石). Now pull up the professions view in your guild roster and look in your Jewelcrafting guidies reciepies and find the gem you are looking for by the color catagory it falls in.

Good news everyone!

This NPC offers the +40 and +20/20 blue patterns as well as +67 soulbound patterns, and patterns for rings and necks, all obtainable with the Illustrious Jewelcrafters Tokens she awards for completing her daily.

and sometimes, the cake is just a lie. this is really one of the most stupid discussions i've seen here. who cares if the NPC (read: a pair of pixels) is gay or bi or has a crush on another NPC not even present in the game? could be a male or female NPC (though judging by the name is still probably female). but srsly. /care

As of today's patch, she's inside the jewelcrafting hut. It's kind of funny to watch people standing around her former location, though.

About the Epic neck/ring Patterns she sells ... With patch 4.2 about to hit, these are not going to be anything you want to spend tokens on. Reason being, the mats primarily. It will take you 4 days to make any of the JC crafted items unless you are willing to buy the Chimera's eyes in the AH. Farming 75 volatiles ... or buying them. Prospecting ores for the gems ... or buying them. Mining and smelting the bars ... or buying them. Your choice is between buying all the items and taking a loss in the AH, and farming them and making only one item every 4 days. Chimera's eyes are about 100 each. Volatiles are 10 - 20 each. right there without even buying the gems or ore to prospect them, you're not going to make any profit. These items are going for between 1100 and 1500g on my server, with some low-balling to 600 no doubt just to unload items they have put in the AH many times already.

What annoys me about the RNG thing is: farm the gems so you can do the 3 gem-cutting quests when available, then you only get a set of the other two (that ask you to leave the hut and go do stuff) over straight weeks. I mean, wth blizz, just because the 3 cutting gems quest are concluded in no time, you make those other two spawn day after day. But no worries, when I get all cata recipes I will be a happy JC crafter, that won't stop me. Some gems and rings and necklaces are even great for timewalks.
