Found him in the hills of Deathknell. Head to the Rotbrain Encampment. Find Marshal Redpath. From where Marshal Redpath stands, head southwest into the hills. Just follow the tree line or you can follow the tiny little duskbats that are kicking around and they will lead you right to him. Fangor is a sitting duck yours for the taking.

For those who have cords, he's at 64.6, 81.2

There is no other beast around him, so taming him shouldn't be a problem.

The fact that Fangor is a ghost, makes this a cool looking bat for a pet. A must have!

My favorite (and only) bat pet. I never tamed and kept a bat until Fangor came around. Hardly anyone knows about him and he was really easy to find and tame. Lovely little feller.

Just tamed him on Moonrunner 1:27pm July 23. MUCH larger than other area bats. I was standing at 64.4, 83.4 and he spawned well within taming range.

Just tamed and found at 3:15 server time Blackwater Raiders the place was where others have said I was on my 22 Alliance hunter.

Cool looking bat. He looks a little more transparent to me in-game than you see in most of these screenshots.

Tameable solo as a f2p alliance hunter, although it takes some time and probably a couple deaths to get there. Not sure if there's a safe way into Deathknell by land.

I'm playing my first Hoonter, just caught Fangor, but he doesn't have "Sonic Blast?" I'm only lvl 15, do you have to be higher to get specials? He has an ability called "Bullheaded" though, maybe they updated him?

Respawn is, like others reported here, around 20-30 minutes.

Camped him today for a "rare recruit a friend" level route, to see in what time frames i can run the toons to shadowfang keep, while killing all the rares on the way to get level 11 to enter the instance.

16:35 Fangor died.
17:02 Fangor died.
17:28 Fangor died.
17:57 Fangor died.

How to get there as Ally?

Not sure if this happens to anyone else, but lately when I go to where he is supposed to be he's not there and won't appear as long as my location shows me as being in the Rotbrain Encampment.

As soon as I get to a spot nearby where I'm in a different location, he appears. Disappearing again if I re-enter the area.

If anyone else has this problem, I've found that the bushes behind him are far enough away to be in a different area but close enough to aggro him to come to you.

As of patch 8.0 you have if you have done event you have to go to the npc reset time

Just tamed him with my Gnome hunter.
I flew along the outer edges of Tirisfall Glades til i got to the west of Deathknell. Staying along the outer mountain edges, I then got to the back where Fangor is located.
I dropped in and tamed him!

The simplest and easiest way to track it is to go to the map, click to copy, then Copy All TomTom commands. Next go to your Chat Frame and enter the command /ttpaste and past All TomTom commands in the frame that pops up. All the TomTom commands will show up as green dots on your mini map. Camp in the middle of the green dots until it shows up. I also track beasts, since Fango is hostile and all the other Duskbats are neutral.

I get fed up with all those "helpful" people that think they have to repost time and time again in comment section information, like TomTom Commands, that is readily available on the WowHead map.
