The following is speculation.

The closest thing to a consort the Stonemother, Therazane, has. Perhaps, if not a consort, than the strongest, oldest, and most reliable of all the Stone Lords.

In the battle for the Temple of Earth involving High Priestess Lorthuna's, Therezane's, and the Earthen Ring's forces:

High Priestess Lorthuna says: Your tale ends here, shaman.

Earthcall Torunscar yells: Stop her! We can still complete da binding!

High Priestess Lorthuna says: Deathwing shall bring destruction upon your entire order. And this day, I shall be his blade!
Therazane yells: Ma'haat, slaughter these rabble. I will deal with the fool priestess.
Therazane yells: You should have taken the hint when we destroyed your precipice, cultist.

In this battle, several Stone Lords were present, some of them being more influential in recent events than others. Despite this, Therazane has Ma'haat leading her forces, the other Lords subserviant to him. This would indicate that he is of an esteemed rank, if not a consort.

Moreover, Ma'haat's name is most likely influenced by the Egyptian god, Ma'at, wife of Thoth.

Taken from Wikipedia: Ma'at was the Ancient Egyptian concept of truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice. Maat was also personified as a goddess regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and the deities, who set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation.

Several of these traits - balance, order, law - are commonly referenced by our elemental compatriots, so it would stand to reason that Ma'at was an influence on Ma'haat's character.

if anyone wonders 'what if he get killed...'
i tried on my ele sham and here's what i learned:

he doesn't hit hard
he can be slowed, possibly rooted
he knocks back
but what really is a problem:
he vanishes soon after he leave the throne, altho he doesn't evade. he'll be invisible and untargetable, but he'll still attack you, and most likely eventually kill you.

shame i have finished all quests on my dk tank, as possible he could be even solo-tanked by him. seems that he could probably be kited around the throne. not sure if his mother would intervene ;p

Took awhile, but I did manage to kill him. He was not lootable. I hadn't gained any Therazane rep yet, and killing him did not add the rep to my list.
