I'm glad Blizzard actually made an NPC of Tednugent and his friend Scratchfever. It seems like Blizzard pays attention to their fans after all!
Besides, Dusk, from the Uldum US realm forums (as stated above) REALLY deserves this. His story was amazing and absolutely the most epic WoW story I've ever read. He should be proud since there's NPC's named after his story ... Wow.
No, seriously for you who haven't read this story yet. It's really entertaining, and I'm pretty sure none of you will laugh at Mankrik's Wife again. Ugh.

If you follow them on their patrol route from Razor Hill to Org, you'll see them stop at the branch that leads off to the harpies, and gaze in their direction for several seconds.

Tednug: Later.
Scratchfever: Later.

i remember reading the thread for three days and thats just the story and the story is only like 20 pages of the thread and its like 60 pages long. none the less the story is epic i could read it forever and am glad that Dusk is finally getting the praise he deserves and i love the fact that you can tame his cat even if i will only be able to get him on my worgen.

also he should be wearing underwear on his head. you would want that 2 if you knew what i was talking about so go read it and find out

After making a troll druid alt (like everyone else) i was strolling along the path from Razor Hill to the harpies, when I saw an orc in the distance with a pet, and i decided to scrollover the pet.

lo and behold, the cat's name was Scratchfever, and i was INSTANTLY reminded of the story!
and to my joy, the orc's name was indeed Tednug!

My favorite part of 4.0.3a used to be Org looking badass....now it's this <3

I noticed this NPC walking along the road in Durotar and I suddenly remembered the "choose-your-own-adventure" story! I loved that thread!

I guess we all grow up sometime.

I think I would have felt this 20 something page essay would have been funny IF I had read it 2 or 3 decades ago. It read like a dialogue between a DM and player from D&D; I used to play that but stopped before it became a video game. But somehow, I really dont think this merits an NPC in the game. Yes, I did get the joke... I just didn't think it was that funny.

BTW, I do like Ted Nugent. He is a hunter but I think he is more of dwarf hunter than an orc. But then it would have been Waking Up In Kharnos...

He did, after all, find Mankrik's Wife without using WoWhead, though the path may have been a bit... perilous, to say the least...

Logged on my lvl 10 Orc Hunter alt that I hadn't touched for months for the first and only time since Cataclysm tonight, and saw "Tednug" walking down the road with his pet "Scratchfever" and had to laugh, accidentally waking my napping daughter as I said "These Blizzard guys are nuts!"
