It seems like there are fewer of these than some of the other mobs you are assigned to kill (as an Alliance character doing the quest given in Stonetalon Peak) and they look almost exactly like the Slayers. I found that, unlike the Slayers, who mostly stay put in groups with some of the white-colored mobs, the Roguefeathers will wander much further and seem to circulate. If you mouse over a grouping of these you will find the Roguefeather; as a Hunter I immediately put Hunter's Mark on it, then kept an eye on it until it flew away from the group and was more or less on its own. Much easier to attack and kill without getting two or three casters for adds.

I've been doing the quest as a Death Knight, so it was pretty easy for me to kill the harpies quickly and move around unhindered. However it seemed to me that there are like four of these Bloodfury Roguefeathers in the whole Charred Vale.
Out of therse four harpies, the quest requires seven to be slain.
I got bored to death before the another ones spawned...

At 37,67 spawns only 1 roguefeather...another 1 spawns at 30,71,but thats all.
And Thikian i dont see anything hard doing the q while u r lvl 55+.

They spawn in the east and west of the Charred Vale and appear to share a spawn reset with Bloodfury Slayers; so if the east and west are overrun with Slayers, kill them and Roguefeathers will soon follow.
