this and alexstrasza's voice in twilight highlands are probably the worst in cata so far.

i thought they were done, but no, they had to bring lady d (aka 70 yr old chain smoker woman) back for Alexstrasza. fml

Perhaps, and Alexstrasza is hot too. Not to mention the queen of the dragons and likely the second most powerful force on Azeroth. Would have been nice if she sounded a little better.

Blizzard insistence on hiring bad voice actors deters away from the emotion of the events. There are a numerous about of NPCs that I just don't care about because the acting is so bad. Aronus, Alextrasza's "Son" in Twilight Highlands. Even Keri in Nexus, as much as her quest chain evoked emotion from me, her final battle in the Nexus was ruined by the horrible actor. They really can mess up some quality writing.

Bad actors + Everyone else that sounds like Metzen = Majority of their talent pool.

That being said there are good talent pools in there. Cairne, Ysera, Sylvannis, seems most of the rehased hired from WC3 is where the quality is.

Just so you know guys, this guy's voice was dubbed the way it was on purpose, it was a reference to Jessie Cox's questing during the Cata Beta, and he tends to put his own vocal spins to dialogue exchanges, in this case, during his video which featured this guy, he used a similar voice to dub over Aronus's voice, which, at the time, had no voice files added, so by the time it was made lived, they managed to hire a voice actor to mimic Jessie's hilarious dub of Aronus and that was added to the game.

Aronus: "I feel Deathwing's presence nearby!".
Proceeds to (rather slowly) fly in front of a colossal freak-show of a dragon to make sure (apparently he used whatever other senses, other than his sight the first time).

Stops right in front of Deathwing.

Deathwing: "LOL this is gonna be epic. Shhhh shhhh shhhh Rag - not yet, not yet.... not YET! .... wait for it ..... aaaaand..... NOW !"

Ragnaros: "BY FIRE BE PURGED!"

Aronus: "The Firelord has risen!.... Let us hurry".

Deathwing: "Ok ok, hide... HIDE ffs, here comes another one ...pffff bwahahahaha ! xD"

And That was Deathwing's first impression of his "opposition" in Hyjal. It is truly no wonder he has underestimated us. Also, poor Aronus must be like -50 on each eye.
