This is one of the dogs in the new icc wing plagueward. he is on the left side of the wing.

Main abilities are...
Decimate: aoe that knocks everyone to 15% health
Mortal Wound: 10% reduced healing done to you stacks up to 100%, placed on tanks
Plague Stench: raid wide aoe that ticks for about 3k every 2-3 seconds

What i found works best is ~~tank him in the corner on the left side all the way in the back after you clear the small trash,~~ two tanks taunt off each other at 7-8 stacks/whenever the debuff goes off.

He also gives 150 rep.

Decimate can not be LOSed, yet the AoE ticks can... Best way to down Stinky...

Have tanks pull and tank him in the doorway at the top of the stairs... Dps/heals stay in LOS until decimate cast begins and as soon as you see it, run out of LOS so the AoE doesn't kill you basically instantly... get healed then return and finish the job.

The AoE ticks are nature based damage and partially resistible. Having a nature resist totem or aspect of the wild makes dealing with the damage much easier on the healers if you choose to brute force through it.

This fight feels like a healer check. We killed him yesterday in ICC 25, after wiping to him twice because healers could not keep up with the damage. We switched one of our pally tanks to holy and killed him with everyone still alive.

One comment i havent yet seen is that this fight is a bit similar to the Forgemaster fight in Pit of Saron, just hide behind something if the stack gets too high, simple enough.

This is faceroll-easy to heal as a Druid. Watch DBM, and when the next decimate has less than 9 seconds on it, start throwing Lifebloom on everyone. You'll be able to hit 8 or 9 members of the raid with it before he decimates, at which point all your Lifeblooms will start to tick off and the raid will quickly come back to full health. Easy stuff.

Discipline Priests should just heal using normal spells like Prayer of Mending and Binding Heal up until Decimate begins casting. At this time shield yourself and other healers so the AOE doesn't immediately kill you; from this point you can Prayer of Healing or Divine Hymn to get everyone back up.

It may also help to throw on as many renews as possible leading up to decimate.

A Feral or Balance druid can stop their dps for a sec ad use http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=48445 if needed. Even a feral's will be able to heal thru the aoe ticks, so the healers can main focus on the other group. Sure it's one time only, but it's good. On 25 it's not that big of a help (unless some healer died).

As a tank, Stinky has crit me at least once 2 weeks in a row now. Anyone else having this problem? I am way over defense cap and still being crit by this mob. Armory: Snared, Shadowmoon US.

Both Stinky and Precious became tamable by me, an Undead hunter, after I set the Raid difficulty to normal 10-man.
They were not tamable otherwise.

Undead Hunters can tame this beast.

All other hunters have to get Simple Tome of Bone-Binding which can be obtained by killing elites in Maldraxxus and its associated dungeons: Plaguefall and the Theater of Pain.

Word of warning though. Most of the elites in Maldraxxus will be level 60.
