For some reason, I can almost never seem to find this guy, even when the battle is underway. He's never at the eastern alliance camp when we're attacking. I've seen him a couple of times while defending but he doesn't even offer the quest, despite me not having done the battleground daily for that day, nor having the BG daily even in my quest log. I hope this gets fixed soon, because it sucks missing out on an easy 1k honor per day due to this broken nonsense.

He only appears to offer the quest when you are defending and the battle has started...he actually despawns, then reappears a few minutes later. So go fight a bit, then come back and get it.

Not sure if this is intentional, but is a real pain.

He offers a quest titled "Southern Sabotage" to destroy one of the three southern towers, that I couldn't find in WoWHead yet.

lol i just kicked its ass its got 120k hp and im a prot warrior with 34khp unbuffed i kicked its ass with no healer its here on the map it respns withed 5mins look ok screenshots in a min

Mortal Strike; his only ability, is a danger to all Alliance players, as a Horde priest could use Mind Control to use it against his/her enemies.
Because it's instant, it won't trigger any cooldown and the player controlling him could use it unlimited times in no time(though he/she gets disconnected if he/she do this). The player could then log back to the game and continue killing players, one at a time.
I hope they fix this in a future patch.

Name could possibly be a reference to the M1 Abrams, although this is unlikely.
Anyone confirm this?

If he is not spawned in the fortress after you win, fly over the starting camp in the east. As long as it's at least ~1 minute after victory, it should trigger his respawn in the fortress.
